"My husband and I had lunch at the Grill this afternoon. We ordered the queso appetizer. Unfortunately, the queso came out cold. We returned it for another. Our lunch came out before the new queso came back. We ask our waiter to take the queso off of our bill. He was professional and honored our request. After our meal, the general managers approached our table to apologize for the cold food. They were so lovely and apologetic about the food. We told them it was no problem. The GMs gave us a voucher for a free lunch and apologized again. I left a nice review when we paid. About 10 minutes later, the catering manager called to apologize. We enjoy the food and ambiance at the restaurant. We are repeat customers. However, the customer service response to a cold queso was so nice. They went out of their way to ensure they kept a customer. While we missed out on queso, we will return for the customer service."

"My husband and I enjoyed our experience at Domingo very much! First off, definitely make reservations! So thankful that we did as it was packed on a Friday evening! We sat at a table right by the river, so the ambience was beautiful! My husband had the steak with chimichurri and delicious potatoes - absolutely divine! I had chicken enchiladas. They were good, but I kept wanting bites of the steak and potatoes! Service wise - Our server wasn't the friendliest- she paid a lot more attention to the table next to ours. But overall, a lovely place to eat."
"4/5 Food5/5 Service5/5 AmbianceA great joint to bring friends on a Saturday and enjoy some live music. Our friends from the area mentioned we should try this place out so we obliged...We order chips and queso, along with their 3 count taco plate of bisteq. The chips and queso were okay, the queso was extremely thick and a little difficult to eat but the taste was yummy. The tacos were delicious and they came with rice and beans. They also make their own corn tortillas for the tacos which I appreciated bc they made everything about the tacos that much better!Their margaritas were "okay" as well, more sour mix and you can't really taste even a drop of tequila so I wasn't overly impressed.I should note that everything was a bit spicy, there are chopped jalapeños in almost everything so if you are a weenie about spice (like my wife) you will probably not do well with the spicy foods here but as mentioned the flavors are great. We were also delighted with a live band that was awesome and brought back some old tune rock n roll to our taco night. We will be back!"
"Tried this place because I had a discount code to use. Was pleasantly surprised! The restaurant was a small and dim place but provided a nice cozy ambiance. Our waiter was super helpful in recommending dishes. The burrata was to die for, wish we had asked for more bread. We split the hashbrown pizza and added pepperoni. Anybody interesting take on a pizza, but it was delicious. Will be coming back!"
"It was okay. If you have kids and visit during the day, this may not be the best option. Looks like a fun drinking spot in the evenings. We went in the middle of the day on a Saturday. There is zero shade. They have umbrellas at each table, but you are still getting straight sun rays. You will sit in your sweat. They do have a small play area but it's all dirt and loose gravel so if your kids happen to be in sandals which mine where, they will end up filthy. We ordered burgers, they were so overcooked and dry, they do not come with any lettuce tomatoes or pickles, literally just the bun and patty, for $15 which is crazy. We didn't have the best time at all. But again, if your single or without kids and come in the evening I'm sure it's a great time"
"Hanging Out at Southerleigh Haute South for Happy HourLast month, the ladies and I craved a light treat, so we headed over to Southerleigh Haute South at the Rim for Happy Hour. I arrived around 4:30 PM to beat the 6 PM rush, especially with San Antonio participating in Culinaria, also known as Restaurant Week. Parking was easy, and the foot traffic at the RIM was light, allowing me to find a spot close to the entrance.I arrived first and was greeted by the hostess, who seated me while I waited for the rest of my group. The waitress came over, and I browsed the menu, debating whether to opt for the Culinaria selections. Culinaria is a bi-annual event that offers diners a preselected menu at a fixed price, usually around $35 to $45. I decided to stick to the Happy Hour menu instead. To get a head start for the ladies, I ordered a dozen oysters and chicken wings ($1 each) along with some fried pickles. The oysters were fresh, with just the right amount of salt. When the ladies arrived, we added deviled eggs ($24 for eight) and honey biscuits to our order. While I love deviled eggs, I was shocked at the price. Though tasty, they didn't seem worth the cost. Our waitress refilled our drinks, and we added mac and cheese ($9) and two orders of meat pies. Unfortunately, the mac and cheese, covered in a queso sauce, lacked flavor, and the meat pies, which resembled greasy empanadas, were disappointing. Even the wings, though affordable, were too salty.I've never been let down by the downtown location, which feels more upscale, but this visit left me a bit disappointed. It was a fun outing with the ladies, but with so many other restaurants at the RIM, it may be a while before I return to this spot.-- Da Islandgal29412"
"We really enjoyed our delicious brunch off the Culinaria Week menu. We started with huge cups of coffee and banana coffee cake. This alone was enough for breakfast. So good! Our server asked if he could take the leftover cake. No way. Those few bites are going home with me for later! Next, my husband had breakfast carbonara pasta (w/the over-medium egg on the side) and I had Breakfast Rosa pizza (w/the over-medium egg on the side). Both were flavorful and unique. We were pretty full though so we have lots of leftovers. It's a three-course meal, so we chose the Italian doughnuts to go. I snuck a bite and yum! The ambience is beautiful and the service -- perfect! Santiago was friendly and attentive. And he also took our compliments in stride. He looks and sounds like he could be a model or actor and we told him so"
"Great service and everything we ordered was perfect!Great sushi, great noodle dish, great dumplings"
"I totally love going here. The pineapple rice is simply delicious and the presentation is on point! The service is always great and the ambiance is so relaxing. It's also great for groups, so make sure to book your next work dinner ahead of time to make sure there is enough room to accommodate your party. I will definitely be back!"
"Santa diabla now know and found on Yelp as salsita drinks tacos Hidden gym by far I don't know how more to explain it besides, the food is amazing. The ambience is great. The customer service is hands-down amazing as well. Location is a little bit unique to try to find and try to pull into parking a little bit limited, but definitely worth it. I would make sure that I try to find a parking space to be here again. Don't miss out this opportunity. Definitely come check it out. Tell me what you think. I would love to hear your opinion and if you don't agree with me, go ahead and reach back out to my comment disagree agree I don't really care. I just love to hear back And see you guys yelp as well."
"My second time eating here. My company had a dinner with about 20ish people. They handled our group well. Appetizers came out quickly. All of them were tasty that I got to try. Our meals were timed well and still the proper temperature. The scallops were prepared perfectly. Everyone was talking about how good it was the next morning and how much they enjoyed it."

Great spot! I had been here some time ago and can't believe I forgot about this gem. The waiter was very friendly and speedy. He checked on us the appropriate amount of times and the food, as usual, was delicious! I love their corn on the cob the way it's seasoned and the panchos were enormous. Way bigger than most spots I go to. Very generous portions at this spot and a wonderful happy hour as well as reverse happy hour.

Yakisoba, drained with no broth. Still infinitely better than a certain shop near TO/281. When bonito flakes are promised, they are delivered. The savoury flakes and semi sweet noodles dance well. Fried egg lightly seasoned.... mmhmm. The lovely crisped chicken on a layer of rough minced vegetables (tiny onions/chives?) and a drizzle of a light spice sauce deserves a nice dry beer. (chimaek level-really). I'm going back.

I came to San Antonio, and it's known for the River Walk. So I was just doing some sightseeing, I looked at the bridge and I thought, 'Man, if I do a flip off this bridge, that would be super-cool.' I don't recommend anybody jump off that bridge -- Steve-OYeah, don't jump off the bridge in San Antonio! But do come to Domingo's. I was in town for job interviews last year and we were very surprised at the quality of restaurants in this town. Domingo was excellent...great views from the patio...service was friendly and quick...and the food was very good! Not California Mexican food but better than most Tex-Mex in Texas. Enjoyed the ceviche, the flat iron steak and the pork. Excellent drink and wine list. We ordered the Daou Cabernet (not allowed to bring your own wine in Texas). Recommended!

Another pre-pandemic favorite that didn't skip a beat; it had been ages since our last visit, so sadly we've been missing out. We had showed up to join some friends for the live music and some drinks, so the amazing meal was a real treat. The homemade rice, beans, and tortillas proved they still serve the best quality food at reasonable prices. The waitstaff was friendly, kept us well hydrated, and served us quickly. We sat in the outdoor area that night which was well shaded, breezy, and clean-ish. We will definitely return this cantina to our monthly rotation.

Two things I love are calzones and brick buildings, and buddy. this place has both. It also has alcoholic drinks containing espresso. And an open floor plan with a hint of maximalism on the walls. Worth a visit especially if you want an elevated drink with your pizza.

Southerleigh is always a treat! This location is bright and cozy; we've always been fortunate to not have to wait long for a table. The drink selection is fantastic - love the cocktails with and without alcohol. They have great happy hour deals. We usually split a half rotisserie chicken - it is always perfectly seasoned and the skin is soooo good. They even have a queso appetizer that comes decked out with chicken skins. Highly recommend it!The Mac and cheese is our favorite along with the honey fried biscuit. You have to have it, it is life changing. You have to check this place out when you're out at the Rim shopping or maybe before watching a movie at Palladium. Definitely one of my favorite date night spots.

The spicy rigatoni vodka pasta is everything! Sooooo good. The Italian donuts were great too (wasn't able to snag a photo of those). They reminded me of beignets.

"Could not ask for better service from Matt. He was running around all over the place and helping multiple tables. His recommendation for the dirty rice was great. Great service from Matt!!!!!! We would return for his customer service."
"We have been going to Silo for many years... Food is consistently delicious and the service is always fabulous. Jonah has seen us several times, and he always remembers us. Being on the terrace is always a treat. The outdoor bar is like a garden retreat. Inside the restaurant, it's very streamlined, minimalist and hipster. Go here if you want some fresh delicious seafood, pasta, chicken, or a delicious burger during lunchtime. It's very affordable at that time. I've never eaten there at dinner because it's a little bit pricey, but I hope to try it one day. For now, I will stick to lunch."
"Highly recommend!!! Drinks and tapas were fantastic.Service was attentive and gave some recommendations on the tapas. We will be back.Perfect for a date night or even a girls night out.But definitely make reservations. I saw that tip and had no issues making reservations for a table for 2 on a Saturday night."
"Love the fajitas and margaritas. The live music was nice too. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants."
"10 out of 10!!!We looked at the all you can eat menu, but decided to order off the regular menu. The sushi was so delicious!I love their no waste policy on the all you can eat menu. I also had the lychee martini, and that too, was delicious!"
"Sternwirth Bar is one of the most unique and beautiful bars (and located in one of the most unique and beautiful hotels, Hotel Emma). It's like THE runway model of all bars. A Naomie Cambell or Kate Moss of bars. Simply perfection. My first time there was about 2012... 2013? A jaw-dropping experience walking through the doors ... checking out every detail of the way they kept the history (old beer tanks turned into lounge seating) and incorporated a little bit of luxe. This time around, I didn't stay at the hotel but we did dine at their restaurant and then popped in for a nightcap. It was a Monday and it was DATE NIGHT CENTRAL. Everyone was coupled up and there was an acoustic guitar player doing covers from John Mayer and the like. Very romantic, festive, and fun. I can see why the place was boo'd up!Drinks range from wine, craft cocktails, etc. Good service. Not great, but good and not pretentious."
"The food here is always amazing. The wait staff is always friendly, fast, efficient knowledgeable. I love the decor and the energy of this restaurant. We stopped in to celebrate a birthday. We had a great time."
"This new location is very pretty, we got a good server that made suggestions about the menu when we weren't sure what to order.Checked on us periodically and made sure we got what we needed.Me and my friends got the same salad, it was delicious and very filling. I couldn't even finish it.We also got the spinach and artichoke dip which is always good!Overall a good experience."
"This is a really fancy restaurant but the menu is limited and I'm positive our servers hated their jobs, and people in general. We sat a long time waiting to get service. Waited even longer to order food and then longer again to check out. I would have ordered more if the waiter bothered to ask"
"A gem in San Antonio. Cullum's Attaboy is somewhere between a French bistro and early 1900's San Antonio diner, serving an elevated brunch that will not be found anywhere else in this city. The staff wear white aprons and hats, classic jazz plays softly, and the space feels cozy yet effortlessly luxurious. The menu is concise yet interesting, featuring classics like pancakes and burgers, along with fine ingredients like escargots, truffles, and plenty of caviar. Order/pay at the counter, choose a table, and the staff will serve your food. Brunch for two set us back just under $100. Their Cortado was the best espresso drink I had in my 5 day visit to San Antonio. My husband's drip coffee was very good as well. Service was polite. You must order the 1915 Spudnuts. These are soft, pillowy donuts made from riced potatoes. Their exterior is delicately crisp, and the inside melts in your mouth and has a buttermilk pancake flavor. 10/10. Another must order is the Champagne Butter Poached Scallop. While $18 for two bites of food may seem steep, I assure you that it is well worth it. The scallop was delicately poached and impossibly tender, enhanced by a rich hollandaise and rainbow trout roe.The French Omelette was excellent, albeit slightly over salted. Skip the Baked Tomato French Toast. While a savory French toast sounded intriguing, it was ultimately an over baked salt/oil bomb. I quickly got palate fatigue. Regardless, this was my favorite meal in San Antonio, by far."
"I love this place. Always a good time with friends or siblings. Brunch on Sunday was nice with Bucho. The outside patio and roof top area are nice. Roof top has a pretty great view. Mimosa set up is a nice price at $10-11 I believe. I've seen it change before though. Would continue to come back for the drinks. Not all customer service has been great though."
"Our total bill came to $103.34 after ordering 4 drinks and 3 appetizers during happy hour, which shocked us. Upon reviewing the receipt, we were surprised to see a $60 charge for tequila and pomegranate that we were not informed about. I inquired about the $16 tequila charge, questioning if margaritas did not already include tequila. The supervisor apologized for the mistake, but this incident highlights the importance of carefully reviewing your restaurant bill, as unexpected charges may be added. It is unacceptable for establishments to impose hidden charges, such as pricing margaritas by flavors without prior notice. Despite the good appetizers, this experience left us feeling like we were taken advantage of."
"Try it once and you'll be hooked Have you tried the beautiful Arenas in the Stone Oak area? This full service restaurant is a seafood lover's paradise. They have fresh, made to order dishes, mostly seafood but non seafood is there too! live music on the weekends. They even have mariachis on Fridays! The place has its own vibe, and one where you won't want to leave! The ocean aesthetic pairs so nicely with the restaurant's offerings too. The entire room is blue!Would definitely recommend you visit them for a lunch or dinner meal!"
"My boyfriend and I have stopped by 2 times having the same bartender serving us on each visit. The first time he orders an old fashion, in which he was not impressed with. You can tell the bartender was not equipped with curating this drink. The 2nd visit he ordered a tequila sunrise and it didn't even have the layer of the obvious colors that are in this drink. When we got the bill, there was a $3 fee added for the juice, excuse me what???? That was a first that we have seen before and my boyfriend was not happy. He brought his dismay up to the bartender but said that is just the way things are. He is not a skilled bartender nor does he have the customer service touch. The bar is very small so can fill up easily and feels rather tight since the walls are so close to the seating surrounding it but there is plenty of seating outside. The first visit there was a live musician playing acoustic guitar where he sings covers to songs of your choice. My boyfriend and I had fun requesting some songs for him to sing, in which he was very talented. The second visit it was a pianist that sounded great too but it got so dang loud patrons talking we had to go outside. Unfortunately all of this has made us decide not to return again."
"This place is a place to view the sunset. It was nice to bring an out of town guest. Only issue is, getting down the tower can take 10 minutes of waiting for the elevator.Server was great! She made sure my mocktail wasn't too sweet. I've had the kimchi calamari before. It's crunchy, but its sauce is like a very sweet gochujang mayo with a sweet reduction drizzle below the fried rice noodles."
"We had a reservation for 14 people. When are group arrived we were sat at 2 different tables. When we asked if the tables could be moved together we were told they didn't have space. I feel like if the tables were not together this is something that should have been stated at the time of the reservation obefore seating us. So we ended up with a reservation for 6 and 8. Not ideal. The music was a little loud for my taste but we could still have a conversation so it was acceptable. I was a little annoyed our waiter decided to rap along with the song while I was trying to put in my order. Had some issues with getting our food, ordered things that were forgotten. Our 2nd table didn't get their food til 20 minutes after our table did. Guess this was fine since we weren't seated together. Our meals came out and everything was prepared well and tasted pretty good. Ordered dessert, yeah they forgot all of the dessert orders so we canceled those. Would have like to have tried them too. Overall, not a great experience for our group. With the mishaps of the night. I would like to give this place another chance with a smaller group to see if the service improves and try more of the food."
"I drove into San Antonio meet someone. Had some time to kill and decided on lunch here. WOW! It did not disappoint! I had 1 taco Pacifico and 2 fried tilapia tacos (don't remember the name exactly). That taco Pacifico was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! The fish ones were good! But not quite as good as that shrimp one. Dang! Wish I had done 2 of those instead. The chips seem to be fresh from here and were very tasty!Service was terrific!! Sat in the bar, and my waiter was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive! Next time I'm going to have the micheladas of some sort! Can't help but recommend this place!!!"
"Very clean, nicely decorated, great service. Food amazing. Definitely one of our favorite sushi spots here in SATX. Highly recommend. We had the jalapeño bombs, Ik sansai (squid salad) and the Bulverde roll, mouth watering just remembering the dishes. Will definitely go back and try other items on the menu. Service, as I said before, was great. Server was very attentive."
"Service is 10/10. Best authentic Mexican food I've ever had. The chilaquiles are so flavorful. The tacos are amazing. And you can't skip out on the cafe de olle. The papa tacos with chicharon and salsa verde is outstanding! Ide go here everyday if I could."
"Two things on the menu are worth praiseA). 2 habanero fried fish tacos with spicy for $4.99. Home runB) caldo de mariscos. $12.59 for a large ...and it's honestly enough to share They really do load it with seafood....unlike most other places"
"I've visited Corinne twice now and I've enjoyed each visit! The most recent time I visited, I ordered the braised prime short rib, which was AMAZING. I also shared the Kale & Apple salad with my mom and we both loved it. I'm not even a big fan of kale, but this one was so good.I think the presentation of each dish is wonderful. They feed your eyes and then they feed your tummy! The pork ribeye in particular looked gorgeous. As far as drinks go, we ordered off their seasonal cocktail menu. The cocktail I had was delicious, like a chocolate milkshake. I can't remember the name now, but it was like a carajillo, but more velvety. I will definitely be coming back for special occasions!"
"We arrived at the restaurant on a Saturday around 6 PM, finding it moderately busy. Parking was available in front of the building and also off to the left toward the back of the property. The restaurant featured both indoor seating and an outdoor area, perfect for families with children and dog-friendly.Opting for the outdoor seating due to our dogs, we approached the window to order food, where the menu of available drinks was conveniently displayed. Additionally, menus were available, but we also checked their website for more options.Starting with drinks, I chose the campfire old fashioned, infused with bourbon, toasted marshmallow syrup, and a dash of chocolate bitters, while my wife opted for the sparkling mule, containing vodka, ginger beer, lime, strawberry, and a splash of champagne. The old fashion was pleasantly strong with a hint of sweetness reminiscent of s'mores, while the sparkling mule had well-balanced flavors that complemented each other.Moving on to food, we ordered chips and queso with chorizo, wings in buffalo sauce, a cheeseburger, and a bacon blue cheeseburger. The addition of chorizo elevated the queso, although we wished for fresher tortilla chips. The wings were lightly breaded and perfectly sauced with a subtle garlic flavor. The double meat patties in both burgers provided a backyard barbecue grilled flavor. My wife enjoyed her cheeseburger with fresh toppings while I savored the caramelized onions and prominent blue cheese crumbles in my bacon blue cheeseburger. Both burgers came with fries and ketchup on the side.Overall, the restaurant had a great vibe, providing a chill atmosphere suitable for families and pets. Despite the moderate crowd, we felt comfortable and welcomed by the friendly staff and patrons. We look forward to returning to try more of their offerings at this neighborhood gem near Talley Rd and 1604."
"Omg these margs are to die for. So good and dressed perfectly. It's such a cute little place in the perfect spot at the mall. I got the margarita flight with cucumber, mango, and strawberry. The bartender was the sweetest girl ever and made our drinks super quick. Definitely a good try if you drink and are at la Cantera!"
