"Went during lunch time and their lunch menu options are great for $12. The Caesar salad has to be one of the best in San Antonio and the green chile chicken sandwich was sooooo good!! The service was great, we went with our pup, so happy to say they are a patio pet friendly restaurant. We sat outside and the climate was perfect for an outside lunch. The Brussels had a good crisp, but I personally prefer more of a honey siracha Brussels type. Lunch Menu is 11am-3pm. Happy hour begins at 3pm with their unbeatable 3pm: $3, 4pm: $4 and 5pm: $5."
"Food was excellent. The bread selections they give you during brunch complimentary are awesome. Muffins, scones, cornbread. Whipped fruit butter. Service was good too. Prices are reasonable for the quality"

"Amazing breakfast tacos! I got the Migas one and I love that they put a better quality cheese on them. Their flour tortillas are fantastic. The waitstaff is nice, the restaurant is clean. This will be my new favorite breakfast taco place."
"I finally got to try Brasserie Mon Chou Chou and loved it!! It was decorated cute for the holidays, very warm and cozy environment. They also have a patio that's nicely arranged and allows you to people watch at The Pearl. Their wine menu is great and everything we ate was amazing! Extremely friendly service. Will definitely be returning again!"
"This is THAT place!!! Lots of spots here in San Antonio that are overpriced or wasn't "worth" the price. This spot here??? Phenomenal!!!! One of those neighborhood places that is a definite keeper. You hope never goes away. We were greeted warmly by Carlos and the "other guy" lol. The food was wonderful. Freshly made. Everything was spot on! If Carlos tells you it's spicy, LISTEN!!!!! lolol....and then they made a certain area that was setup for self-service coffee with your favorite creamers and milk!!!!. Wooooow. Take a look at the pics.......simply wonderful...."
"My husband and I enjoyed our experience at Domingo very much! First off, definitely make reservations! So thankful that we did as it was packed on a Friday evening! We sat at a table right by the river, so the ambience was beautiful! My husband had the steak with chimichurri and delicious potatoes - absolutely divine! I had chicken enchiladas. They were good, but I kept wanting bites of the steak and potatoes! Service wise - Our server wasn't the friendliest- she paid a lot more attention to the table next to ours. But overall, a lovely place to eat."
"It's always fun to try a new coffee spot I haven't been to yet, and I had the pleasure to celebrate my birthday here with my friends! Cute house with lots of outdoor front and back seating, but unfortunately since it was freezing cold, we had to sit inside. Seating was a little limited at that time, but we managed to find a large table for all of us!Super friendly service at the counter. And there was an array of yummy freshly made in house pastries behind the glass counter. I ordered a decaf latte with coconut milk & pump of hazelnut and an almond croissant. The coffee was STRONG, I had to ask for 4 more pumps of hazelnut lol I really enjoyed the toasted almond croissant- I'm a huge lover of almond paste. The rest of my friends ordered some breakfast croissants and they looked super deelish. The brunch menu offered on the weekends looked fabulous too. Afterwards we wandered outside, and in the back they have a chicken pen with the most beautiful rooster and hens. Met an employee who takes care of them and you can tell he enjoys his job and was happy to be there. : )"
"Finally made it to "supper" no pun intended lol I had heard raving reviews and nothing but great things about Supper. The reviews on Yelp confirmed it, and my visit sealed the deal! So obviously, I highly recommend! I had it on my foodie list since (recently) moving to SATX. Everything about our experience was 100/10! Service, ambiance and food!!! The historic feel and ambiance can be felt from the moment you walk up and walk in. Of course I snapped away from every angle and still photos won't do it justice! So go see for yourself To start, we ordered a Cesar salad to share and they were kind enough to split it (without us asking for it to be split). I opted for a mocktail (Prohibition Punch) and my hubby had an old fashioned. It's always very much appreciated by me when a business and staff are so detailed. It's the details for me, always! Like the cute little "pearl" in the old fashioned cherry garnish. Which I'm sure is symbolic of the "pearl district". Much appreciated! For entrees; I ordered the risotto and my hubby ordered the black angus filet (au poivre). The truffle on the risotto was fantastic. However, the risotto itself needed a little something. It tasted kind of bland (for my liking) even when combining with the truffle! The steak on the other hand was absolutely phenomenal! Cooked exactly as we ordered, with an explosion of flavors when dipped in the au poivre sauce. Can't forget to mention the highlight of the night for me; the Brussels sprouts! Omg! The best I've had! Kudos to the chef! I would've been ok with 3 orders of Brussels lol I can go on and on about how wonderful this experience was! I will end my review by saying thank you to Angel, our server! And what felt like an entourage of servers making sure our every need was met! Truly grateful and cannot wait to return!"
"We really enjoyed the food at Tito's - it's completely worth hiking here from the River Walk!Tip: The crowds aren't as crazy here as they are at the River, and they prices are better too :-)Service was very good, and almost everything we tried was tasty. About the only negative I can think of is if you eat the rice, beans, and tacos included with most dishes, you're going to need to do that walk several times to burn off all those calories ;-)"
"My husband has been here a few times already for lunch but this was my first trip in. We both had the signature Mexican mocha. It is very rich and very good. My husband opted for two brisket tacos and two bean and cheese tacos. They looked good but I didn't take pictures of those. The bean and cheese had the cheese completely melted in which looked more appetizing than other bean and cheese tacos I've come across. The brisket was at least five thin slices along with avocado for an extra dollar. I opted for the chicken salad sandwich. It was a very hefty portion and had I known it would be as thick as it was I would have ordered a half a sandwich and a cup of soup. All in all, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the only caveat I can think of is it I wish this place was open on weekends. I will definitely be back when I take a mental health day during the week"
"An update review because their food is so delicious!!I finally had dinner here with my fiancé and am so happy I did. This time around we started off with a Hot Cocoa and yes, another Matcha Latte. The Hot Cocoa was made with a rich and decadent chocolate and was topped with a thicker whipped cream and chocolate drizzle, and the Matcha was just as rich in flavor with a beautiful foam layer on top. Both looked absolutely beautiful. For our main course, we had the Schnezel and Chicken Florentine Crepe, both delicious in their own right. My fiancé's Schnezel was a super hearty chicken sandwich that came with yummy steak fries that tasted best with their dipping sauce. Both entrees had an abundance of tender chicken, but my Chicken Florentine Crepe was lighter than the sandwich. The many layers of crepe itself were sweet and had a fluffy texture despite how thin they were, and paired excellently with the creamy, savory sauce. The chicken and sautéed mushrooms also paired exquisitely, and all of the flavors came together for a fantastic dish. I am typically not a fan of salad, but I even enjoyed the side salad with its flavorful vinaigrette. It was an absolutely delicious meal, and we're looking forward to trying more from the menu!"
"Great food great service. The food is always consistent and perfect portion sizes. The boards are always my go to but the skewers are fantastic as well."

This place is so good! We came here during lunch and they had a really great lunch special menu. We absolute loved all the food. We started with the artichoke dip and we got the $12 dollar lunch special fish and chips. It was a generous basket and the fish was so crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. I loved it. Our waiter Tommy was so nice, we enjoyed his recommendations. It was not busy when we went but they do take reservations. I like it felt like a very relaxed place to come eat.

While it's on the pricier side, the personalized attention and overall experience make it well worth it. The outdoor patio is especially awesome in the spring. It's hard to believe I've lived here all my life and have never been!I had the Redfish Pontchartrain, and it was a pleasant surprise. The subtle, sweet cinnamon flavor was unexpected but really nice, and they're generous with the lump crab on top, which is a big plus. For dessert, don't miss the Sticky Toffee Pudding. It's absolutely amazing! The interior is also thoughtfully done. It's not too loud, making it perfect for a relaxed and enjoyable meal.

When it comes to authentic Mexican food, their freshly made salsas and crispy corn tortilla chips truly stand out. The flavors are outstanding and the texture is perfect. The street tacos are a must-try. We had the opportunity to sample the pastor, carnitas, barbacoa, and asada options. The menu is reasonably priced, and the establishment's commitment to cleanliness is evident. BEST of ALL their service is top tier!!!

I liked the ambiance of this place but it wasn't the best food I've ever had . I tried the radish salad roasted vegetables and couscous . It needed salt . This was in the pearl area which everyone raved about . I think if I would have ordered a meal with cheese I would have been more happy . The dishes I saw come out were beautifully plated as well as mine . They had doilies under everything and match sticks at the front . Paper coasters . My couscous came out in a pretty pot with a lid . My husband had eggs Benedict . He said it was good but had better . The server was friendly and did a good job . I wish they would have sat us away from other people . The whole restaurant was open and they sat everyone on top of each other , you were pretty much sharing a table. I felt uncomfortable talking .

I love this spot. The service is always welcoming and the staff is friendly. What the restaurant lacks in ambiance it makes up for it with the food!!!!I've visited this restaurant a few times and have tried different dishes , all are delicious !My father joined me for breakfast ; he is the pickiest person I know . He absolutely loved the food here and complimented the chef .( I almost fell over!) I had the huevos a la mexicana w/ a side of bacon . It was perfect .Sergio gave us complimentary (Greek) soup to try and it was delicious . If you are in the area you need to try this spot ! Ask your server about the soups! They have four to choose from!Happy eating!!

I came to San Antonio, and it's known for the River Walk. So I was just doing some sightseeing, I looked at the bridge and I thought, 'Man, if I do a flip off this bridge, that would be super-cool.' I don't recommend anybody jump off that bridge -- Steve-OYeah, don't jump off the bridge in San Antonio! But do come to Domingo's. I was in town for job interviews last year and we were very surprised at the quality of restaurants in this town. Domingo was excellent...great views from the patio...service was friendly and quick...and the food was very good! Not California Mexican food but better than most Tex-Mex in Texas. Enjoyed the ceviche, the flat iron steak and the pork. Excellent drink and wine list. We ordered the Daou Cabernet (not allowed to bring your own wine in Texas). Recommended!

It's been a minute since I visited Commonwealth Coffeehouse and I was pleasantly surprised by their new look! If you haven't been to this location in a few yours (like myself) you will be surprised by their amazing patio and renovated indoor. The new look is definitely more inviting and I really appreciate the new check-in area they created. The flow of the space is so much better and it looks similar to their Hemisfair location. But enough about the place, let's talk food! For my first time in some years I decided to go with their avocado toast, and wow! The food was prepared super quickly and the egg was cooked to perfection. It was filling but not overwhelming. I truly enjoyed every bite of it and can't wait to come back for another one! Also, if you are a coffee drinker I would highly recommend their cappuccinos. They are made just right and taste amazing! My only note for the team is to please include a changing table for babies in their bathroom. Their hemisfair location has one, and I just wish they also had it here. I came with a friend and her newborn, and she had to go to the car to change her baby which is obviously not ideal.

What an amazing lunch at the most perfect location! Our party sat outside, and the light breeze and view were perfect. Service by Sophia was wonderful. She was helpful with menu selections, quick, friendly and efficient. Fabulous salads, the most amazing flank steak (as a side) and the food was beautiful and fresh! Gary (manager) came to chat with our table and personally thanked us for dining as we were leaving. Very classy touch!

"Great food, VERY large servings, but very expensive. There's also an extra 2% fee for "Kitchen Love" added to every check. We've been here a couple of times. It's really good food. The serving sizes are VERY generous, but they can lower the prices by decreasing the serving sizes. Most of the people in here are taking half of their food to go. The prices are just ridiculous. The service is fantastic and friendly - no complaints there. However, it gets very noisy, especially on the weekends. It's not as bad for lunch on a weekday, but still kinda noisy. These prices are from the fall of 2023 and the spring of 2024:* Spicy Chicken Salad - OMG, the chicken is like crack. So moist and spicy. ($16.99)* Omelet - The eggs are kinda dry and lacking cheese. When the waitress asked how things were, we told her. The manager comped half off the price. ($14.99)* Single Pancake - Comes with compote and almond slices. ($8.99)* Shiner Bock Draft - $7 before 3 pm on a Monday.* Iced Tea - $3.49 on a Monday before 3 pm.* Side of Toast - $2.99.I was surprised with an extra charge on my bill. It was labeled "kitchen love." It was 2% of the total check. This might sound like a small cost, but it's not cool when you are surprised with this added cost. When I asked what the "kitchen love" fee was, the waitress told me it was for the staff in the back kitchen. She offered to remove it, and I said yes. (Kitchen love is 2%)The bottom line is that they have great food, and great service, but the prices are just insane."
"We just ate here for the first time and it was DELICIOUS It has a very nice family atmosphere and nice CHRISTIAN feeling The FAMILY RUN establishment is like walking into a friend's house The service was Great and I HIGHLY Recommend it YOU CANNOT BEAT what you get for the price you pay Home cooked food at a reasonable price AMAZING!!!"
"I came here the other day, because I was craving a Barbacoa taco to go with my Big Red soda I had. Since it was right down the road from me I figured I would give it a try. I ordered 3 tacos, a barbacoa (of corse) the trash can taco, and then an egg and cheese taco for my girlfriend. The trash can and egg burrito were stuffed full and barely closed, so definitely a good value for the price. My girlfriend doesn't eat a lot of food when she does eat, but she was only able to finish about half of her taco. The tacos had great flavor, however the barbacoa was just so so, I've had better, but it was still good. The process of taking my order and getting me my food was fast. They had it ready before I finished putting together the to-go salsas from their salsa bar. Great little spot to hang out on their outdoor patio if I decide to come back and eat there, rather than taking it to-go."
"I can't say enough about this place from the decor and vibes, the absolutely fresh and delicious food, and the warm and welcoming service. Their pastries, kolaches, cupcakes, cakes and pies oh my! Even their fresh baked bread wafts in the air inviting you into this delightfully sweet shop. It's like a lady's quaint little tea house. Come and see."
"Delicious breakfast burritos. Both owners are super friendly and come to chat with us.This store has the best breakfast burritos- yummy and gigantic."
"Bilia Eatery is a true San Antonio gem and one of my favorite lunch spots in the city! This amazing restaurant specializes in a wide variety of breakfast and lunch dishes inspired by wide variety of latin american countries. Everything is fresh and made to order, and they also have seasonal dishes that are a must! I think their best seller and my favorite dish is their cuban sandwich. It is absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection! If you are not in the mood of a sandwich then I recommend their steak salad. It is the best steak salad you can find in the city and the flavors of the meat they use are insane! If you are planning to visit them during a weekday try to get here before or after the lunch rush. They do tend to get pretty busy, but they do their best to get all dishes out as quickly as possible. They also have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, which I am sure will be pretty nice in the fall. Overall, this place is 10/10 in my book and I hope everyone gives them a chance!"
"The chicken was delicious! The moment you walk in, you're hit with the delectable aroma and your mouth starts watering. I got the quarter chicken and the camp fries. Both were delicious, but I overshot how many potatoes I could eat because the chicken already came with potatoes. I wish I had gotten the Brussels because they looked so good. The staff were a bit standoffish. We were some of the first customers of the day so maybe they hadn't gotten into service-mode yet, but they were helpful and did everything they were supposed to."
"Came here based on Yelp rating. Very disappointed in the food. I had lunch special of red beans and rice with sausage and two small round cornbread muffins with lemonade. Husband had shrimp and fried catfish, green beans, french fries and 2 small cornbread muffins with a big red. It cost us $41 with the tipGood things first: Atmosphere/decor is spot on. Am told on Sundays they have a buffet and live Jazz and Soul Music. The waitress was amazing. She spoke clearly, was charming and did not keep us waiting.Next the not so good. The beans and rice w/sausage was bland! The green beans had bacon in them, but still tasted like canned green beans. The cornbread muffins taste like Martha White mix (not bad, but not what you would expect from such a reputed place) the fried shrimp and catfish were ok; Crispy and not oily. I won't say I will not come back, but if I do will try something different next time."
"Always great home cooked food. Chicken fried steak is hand battered. Greaf wait service and always fresh food."
"Not the best breakfast place. I've been here a couple times and food is always sub-par. Nothing crazy, cups and utensils were dirty. Management and workers were overwhelmed. I would definitely go to Comfort Cafe next time!"
"My husband and I plus three kids visited for lunch and loved it so much we went back the next day for breakfast. He had tacos, I had the mole enchiladas. For breakfast we both had huevos rancheros with him having asada and me barbacoa. Everything was delicious, authentic and freshly made (including the tortillas). The best part was the value, lots of food for a reasonable price! My husband was in love. Highly recommend!"
"A casual, clean and friendly spot with very well seasoned food. We tried a large variety off the menu. The chicken was absolutely delicious. Made to order, large pieces, crispy, juicy and so much flavor! We cleaned every piece until there was nothing left. Cabbage is a must try but you won't be disappointed in the greens, yams or Mac either. I don't like cornbread however, this was fluffy, moist and extra sweet. Portions are huge, especially on the meatloaf. Price is very reasonable for the Alamo ranch area. My only negative would be the waffles were spongy - more like a pancake. Needed to be on the iron a little longer. We had pecan and strawberry both worth the $1.00 upgrade. Expect a longer wait when ordering chicken because of cook time."
"Stopped here on a Sunday morning before visiting my mom, who lives in the area. Love this place! The service and food are excellent. Love the Monkey bread and their Chai Tea Latte. It has become my go to on Sunday mornings because the food, atmosphere and friendly service."
"The food was great and so was the service...I had the best fresh tortilla soup ever ... I am looking forward to going back for breakfast.."
"Somewhat busy on a Sunday at 9 am. I was promptly attended to, when I got there. I ordered a mocha and an oatmeal. My friend got some kind of black tea and avocado toast. It should be mentioned that their toast comes with an egg. The latte was very good and so was the oatmeal, the portion of the latter was pretty large (somewhat justified its price). Nice ambiance, not too noisy. Good spot for studying or working."
"Very delicious breakfast with such kind staff. One of the highlights of our trip to Boerne!"
"10 stars. It was the best right at walk in. They were so attentive and our waitress was the most pleasant person. Excellent character. The dishes were clean, nothing was stained or smelly. The reviews were true. Our experience was super. Our plates were fair portions for our selection. I loved that nothing was salty !!! We seasoned the amount we wanted. The Oreo pie was the best !! It wasn't overly sweetened. It was perfect, I was really surprised. They truly home make their recipes. I asked if they used real eggs, apparently, they do !!! 100 stars for y'all. Thank you for prompt service , fantastic team and a clean environment. Enjoyed it. Big Hugs to y'all."
"Upon local recommendation, we cruised over to Nicha's. The service was super fast (we were on a time crunch) and the salsa and queso were worth the trek! Homemade tortillas, yes, please!!I shared the street tacos, they serve 5 but once you take all the fat out you have enough for four. I like my meat sautéed this looked a bit boiled (but don't quote me on that). Needless to say, I won't get those again but would come back for the salsa!!"
"Amazing food, fantastic service. One of the best omelets I have ever had. The biscuits were amazing soft and almost melt in your mouth. Definitely a place I would go back to."
"Great local diner. Friendly staff. It's a small space, but it's a neighborhood diner so it's exactly what you'd expect. Delicious chicken and waffles."
"It's a really sweet place. Cute woodsy area in the front - entrance can be a bit confusing if you park in their small lot. Doesn't help when there is a lot of construction going on. It looks like they have a very busy catering / take out, multiple bags being prepared and picked up while we were there. The staff (guy) who helped us was really friendly and very helpful while funny. The space is tight. Older converted small house with small rooms- poor ventilation, not very cool rooms. Went with my friend and we ordered the chicken salad and grilled pimento cheese sandwiches and we shared. We had the combo (potato rosemary, kettle chips & my friend had the soup & quinoa). Soup was a little heavy. My friend really liked the quinoa. The chicken salad definitely was pickle forward and had a bit going on- I didn't taste much of the chicken and a bit dry. Reminded me of a really good tuna salad. The pimento sandwich was good- different when grilled. I would almost ask for it cold - the pimento was that good. They have bottle and canned drinks. We had the lemon bar and the Mexican wedding cookie. I will say the flies were pretty bad which was surprising but not shocking based on the last review. They are everywhere and pesky as can be. This really took away from the experience. I hope you stop by and share your experience."
"Family friendly. Big choice of meals. Quick service Good home style food. I would recommend this restaurant."
"The food was good! I liked the smoked Gouda polenta! Would totally come again. I was stuffed and cleared my plate since I was on vacation I didn't want to waste any of the food. It was in walking distance and had a view of the Riverwalk too."
