Monique C. "A great brunch place ! The wait was a bit long but I would say it was worth it. My visit included my family of 5. The service we received was wonderful. I was able to take picture of our meals. Warm comfort food found here. A mix of German and American cuisine. This restaurant is actually pretty small but they make it work and not crowded. Something I loved was that the syrup for my pancake came in a warm bottle and I really enjoyed that haha. I give it 4 out of 5 stars because end of service the check still has a "credit card charge" from Covid. ( bring cash if you can) It's 2024 the owner should definitely change that."

The tortillas are perfectly cooked on the flat grill, combined with the green salsa over the chorizo made me a huge fan today. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant has open seating if your dining inside. The food, vibe, music and great breakfast experience will definitely bring me back to try a lunch special."

Jordan W. "Stopped in the drive thru on a nice breakfast before a day exploring the city. Many options including tacos, burritos, and various breakfast plates to get your day started. There's also dine in, but usually it is crowded in the morning as everyone loves breakfast here. Plus it's not a big joint, but it'll get you going if you're on the go or on the way to work.I simply had two bacon egg and cheese tacos from the drive thru. The bacon had a delicious greasy flavor to it, but it could've been cooked a little less. Crispy bacon isn't bad at all, but I at least like to be able to have it with flavor. The eggs were pretty good, and the cheese wasn't really present in the taco, but overall not a bad way to start the day.Parking is limited, like I said, so just try the drive thru if you don't have time to sit and eat. The huevos rancheros meal looked pretty good, but I didn't try it because I wasn't that hungry. But if you're looking for a nice small breakfast before work, stop on by."

This place has some SD favorite and NAILS them - like the Cali burrito! The meat isn't gristley at all and exactly how I remember a Cali burrito should taste. My personal favorite? The rolled tacos!!! I search far and wide for good shredded beef rolled tacos, and I have found them here. They even use creamy guac just like in SD! And oh man they have a full on breakfast burrito menu that does not disappoint. I had the classic breakfast burrito and it was fire. I seriously could eat here every day. Don't sleep on the horchata, it's soooo good. I can't forget to mention their $1 fish street tacos, they are so crispy delicious with bomb chipotle sauce and fresh spicy pico. I've also had their carnitas and shredded beef taco - both incredible and authentic to SD. The staff is so nice and just makes the whole experience better! You have a repeat customer between me and my whole family who also LOVES your food!"

Alexis G. "This was my very first time to EVER dine at a Taco Palenque and it was definitely an experience for me & I felt the restaurant was a good blend of dine-in and take-out/drive-thru.Since this was my first time I was a little overwhelmed by the order yourself kiosks, the fresh salsa bar, seeing directly into the kitchen, the fresh drinks and soda fountain, and the wall art. There was a lot going on lol.Service was so so quick & both the register lady and the gentleman attending to tables in the dining room were so friendly. If you come here you MUST check out the salsa bar & try out everything they have to offer, the plus side is they have free chips to go with it :) another MUST TRY is the Jamaica juice that they make fresh. So good! The reasons I am giving 4 and not 5 stars is because: - the 'Queso' is pretty much a cheese dip, and did not taste fresh made at all. There really was not much too it which was a bummer. If I wanted nachos maybe it would've been fine as it's the same consistency as it.- the Guacamole was OK but definitely not the best, for some reason I thought it had an off taste. I couldn't figure out why.- the Rice really was not great either. Don't bother doing a combo. I was a little sad about that honestly because I do love some good Mexican rice. All in all, they are a decent fast food restaurant but my faves are the salsa bar & the fresh Jamaica/Horchata drinks. If I'm craving tacos or something similar I will probably go to one of the other fast Mexican restaurants close by."

Got my go-to pesto chicken quinoa (I do think compared to a year ago, the serving portion has gone down) but totally understand, because the flavor is still there! Love the blend of tomatoes, pesto, kale and chicken! The kids meal is the one my son always enjoys, he gets this huge chocolate chip pancake (which the table can share). This location in particular has multiple servers that check in and everyone seems to work hand in hand! Janie D. "A gem in San Antonio. Cullum's Attaboy is somewhere between a French bistro and early 1900's San Antonio diner, serving an elevated brunch that will not be found anywhere else in this city. The staff wear white aprons and hats, classic jazz plays softly, and the space feels cozy yet effortlessly luxurious. The menu is concise yet interesting, featuring classics like pancakes and burgers, along with fine ingredients like escargots, truffles, and plenty of caviar. Order/pay at the counter, choose a table, and the staff will serve your food. Brunch for two set us back just under $100. Their Cortado was the best espresso drink I had in my 5 day visit to San Antonio. My husband's drip coffee was very good as well. Service was polite. You must order the 1915 Spudnuts. These are soft, pillowy donuts made from riced potatoes. Their exterior is delicately crisp, and the inside melts in your mouth and has a buttermilk pancake flavor. 10/10. Another must order is the Champagne Butter Poached Scallop. While $18 for two bites of food may seem steep, I assure you that it is well worth it. The scallop was delicately poached and impossibly tender, enhanced by a rich hollandaise and rainbow trout roe.The French Omelette was excellent, albeit slightly over salted. Skip the Baked Tomato French Toast. While a savory French toast sounded intriguing, it was ultimately an over baked salt/oil bomb. I quickly got palate fatigue. Regardless, this was my favorite meal in San Antonio, by far."

Nayra B. "An update review because their food is so delicious!!I finally had dinner here with my fiancé and am so happy I did. This time around we started off with a Hot Cocoa and yes, another Matcha Latte. The Hot Cocoa was made with a rich and decadent chocolate and was topped with a thicker whipped cream and chocolate drizzle, and the Matcha was just as rich in flavor with a beautiful foam layer on top. Both looked absolutely beautiful. For our main course, we had the Schnezel and Chicken Florentine Crepe, both delicious in their own right. My fiancé's Schnezel was a super hearty chicken sandwich that came with yummy steak fries that tasted best with their dipping sauce. Both entrees had an abundance of tender chicken, but my Chicken Florentine Crepe was lighter than the sandwich. The many layers of crepe itself were sweet and had a fluffy texture despite how thin they were, and paired excellently with the creamy, savory sauce. The chicken and sautéed mushrooms also paired exquisitely, and all of the flavors came together for a fantastic dish. I am typically not a fan of salad, but I even enjoyed the side salad with its flavorful vinaigrette. It was an absolutely delicious meal, and we're looking forward to trying more from the menu!"

I got a plate of avocado toast, which was served with four thick half slices of brioche toast, and a scoop of avocado that almost was like a guacamole scoop in regards to consistency. I also got their pink latte, which is essentially a white mocha with beet coloring, and while it was super sweet I was a fan. It was like drinking pink chocolate! The ambiance is very bright, pink, fresh, and open. I would love to come back to try some of their sweet items like the churro donuts or cookies and cream French toast."

I went for the Chilequiles plate- which is always a Tex-Mex favorite. It was covered in cheese, served up with tortillas, refried beans, and potatoes that are charred up nicely. The salsa verde was a bit on the hot side, and full of flavor. The prices were quite reasonable! I was happy to see the bill- I should be coming here more often. The portions are huge, and the food is good! The coffee was a bit on the weak side, but the service was good, and the singing cook in the kitchen had some good tunes. This place is Spurs proud! There was soft pop music playing that served as appropriate background without being too distracting or overbearing. The meal started with the wonderful bread and butter that was put in front of me. The bread was soft, warm and fresh with a crust that was crispy but easy to bite into. It was accompanied by a pad of butter that was sprinkled with what resembled poppy seeds; unusual but delicious, and a delight to spread on bread. The main event followed, a yummy linguini pasta with clams. The sauce was a tasty white wine sauce with bits of red herbs similar to pimientos. It was topped with shredded parmesan cheese. What a wonderful meal, with just the right portion. This was a birthday dinner to treat myself after enduring some stressful past few months. The final act of this awesome experience was the Pistachio Ricotta Cake, a slightly sweet, layered delicacy surrounded by fresh fruit."
