"We stayed at the Drury Plaza Hotel and walked across the parking lot and I'm so glad we did! I had the Bourbon Glazed Salmon and it was amazing! The sides were fresh and delicious. My son had a kid's pizza and he was happy as well. Great experience!"
"Hanging Out at Southerleigh Haute South for Happy HourLast month, the ladies and I craved a light treat, so we headed over to Southerleigh Haute South at the Rim for Happy Hour. I arrived around 4:30 PM to beat the 6 PM rush, especially with San Antonio participating in Culinaria, also known as Restaurant Week. Parking was easy, and the foot traffic at the RIM was light, allowing me to find a spot close to the entrance.I arrived first and was greeted by the hostess, who seated me while I waited for the rest of my group. The waitress came over, and I browsed the menu, debating whether to opt for the Culinaria selections. Culinaria is a bi-annual event that offers diners a preselected menu at a fixed price, usually around $35 to $45. I decided to stick to the Happy Hour menu instead. To get a head start for the ladies, I ordered a dozen oysters and chicken wings ($1 each) along with some fried pickles. The oysters were fresh, with just the right amount of salt. When the ladies arrived, we added deviled eggs ($24 for eight) and honey biscuits to our order. While I love deviled eggs, I was shocked at the price. Though tasty, they didn't seem worth the cost. Our waitress refilled our drinks, and we added mac and cheese ($9) and two orders of meat pies. Unfortunately, the mac and cheese, covered in a queso sauce, lacked flavor, and the meat pies, which resembled greasy empanadas, were disappointing. Even the wings, though affordable, were too salty.I've never been let down by the downtown location, which feels more upscale, but this visit left me a bit disappointed. It was a fun outing with the ladies, but with so many other restaurants at the RIM, it may be a while before I return to this spot.-- Da Islandgal29412"

"Great happy hour prices! Service was very attentive. It was nice to be followed up by two managers about our experience, but not overwhelming. We have been here before and the sandwiches are excellent and easily shareable! Get the meatball or Italian sandwich. You won't be disappointed. Lots of TVs. Good place to watch a game."
"Wraptitude at first glance has enough space for everyone and some! There is plenty of seating well spaced out as well, most seating is outside. There is a decent amount of parking too, ohh and a drive thru! When you walk in you're able to grab a menu and a table or you can jump straight into line. We were greeted by a bubbly woman at our table who let us know we can come up to the counter to order when ready, her personality shined through the whole visit and she wasn't the only one either. The bartender was just as kind! The menu gives you so many options, I went with the Burger Wrap with a Sangria my husband got the Big Kahuna Burger with a glass of Save the World and we shared an order of fries. Everything was so yummy, perfectly cooked and seasoned! The fries are exactly how I expect my fries to be cooked and seasoned. Overall this place is a win, I will forsure be back and you should give it a try. You will feel right at home!"
"The service by Vianey was superb and the food was delicious. The catfish and shrimp were perfect and the Eggplant Bayou was awesome. The restaurant is undergoing renovation but it's worth it to stop as the ambiance is great."
"Came here on a whim, and it honestly did not disappoint 10/10. The ambiance is very causal, and still gives a kid friendly vibe as well as adult vibe. So date night or family night can be done here. The parking was great plenty of room for your vroom vroom. The service was amazing, constantly being checked on and making sure we had everything we needed and never leaving our drinks empty. The food was amazing!! Every single bite was popping with flavors. Fresh, hot and big portions.Definitely recommend"
"The tap list is top shelf. The staff knows their beers and makes helpful recommendations. The food is good, too."

Southerleigh is always a treat! This location is bright and cozy; we've always been fortunate to not have to wait long for a table. The drink selection is fantastic - love the cocktails with and without alcohol. They have great happy hour deals. We usually split a half rotisserie chicken - it is always perfectly seasoned and the skin is soooo good. They even have a queso appetizer that comes decked out with chicken skins. Highly recommend it!The Mac and cheese is our favorite along with the honey fried biscuit. You have to have it, it is life changing. You have to check this place out when you're out at the Rim shopping or maybe before watching a movie at Palladium. Definitely one of my favorite date night spots.

Confession...I've eaten at Parry's 4 times this week!! The first time I ordered delivery and it was GREAT! The wings were especially good and the reason for the following three visits! The other times I picked up from the restaurant because I wanted to see where it was (South Rim).During visit 2 I tried the meatball bake and it was the best meatballs I've ever had. So needless to say I've eaten wings, pizza, and meatballs all week! Oh and the White Ketchup (Ranch) should be bottled up and sold!! The service is great...the manager DK is especially nice and friendly!!I have not dined in the restaurant yet....but I plan on it! There is a nice outdoor seating area with several TV's and the atmosphere is just inviting for a fun time. Can't wait to dine in!!

Stopped by here on a whim around 7:15pm after looking on Yelp for seafood. First off, I may be daft, but I didn't realize it was inside of the hotel until asking for directions. It's in the hotel, y'all. Don't be me. Walked around the building and came in through the back exit near the patio, which is right next to the river walk. They had live music and plenty of tables. The patio area was absolutely slammed while the dining room was maybe 1/2 full. I opted for a seat in the bar area so as to not be a 1-top table in somebody's section. Service in the bar area was incredibly slow; I spoke to a server or bartender 3x the entire time. Granted, they were busy slinging/running drinks for the patio group, but still. I ordered two cocktails (Ivy Rickey and a Bourbon Julep). Both tasted ok, but were missing key ingredients that make the drink like muddled mint and lime. Also, they both tasted really watered down.I lost the server and wound up having to go the the bar to order food/drinks. Bartender was super friendly and placed my order while slinging drinks. I ordered the Shrimp and Lump on a whim, and while tasty it was a small portion for the price. It came out piping hot and had a rich buttery/citrusy flavor. Finally got the bill and was slightly surprised at the cost - $64 for 2 drinks, a small entree, and tip. I saw the prices of what I ordered beforehand, but I feel the meal was super overpriced for what it was and lack of service. Maybe i just went in on an off night, but I don't think I'll be returning.

The service was great! Our waitress was Vicky, and she was very attentive to my party's needs! We had the Fettuccine Alfredo, which was so delish! I normally don't like fettuccine, but I would eat that again. The spaghetti & meatballs were amazing!!! Both of our pizzas were so tasty! One of our pizzas had black olives & mushrooms, 4/6 people in my party are not a fan of either, but the pizza was so good, they didn't even notice, and enjoyed that pizza! I also had the Frozen Rosé drink, & it was okay.. it was very sweet, and tastes like a candy almost. We also tried the skinny margarita, with top self tequila, and it was made to perfection! The restaurant had a very open lay out so it can be very accommodating if you have wheelchairs or need to sit in table & not a boot. It's was dark, but we were all about to see our food. Considering we had so much food, it all fit on our table and I'm very appreciative of that!

Love this place! It's Friday night - this is a smaller, more intimate place with a limited - aka - mostly pizza based menu and crazy good beer !!Enjoyed some fantastic IPAs and good pizzas - to be honest I seem to remember their pizza being way better but this was still good! But their taps were fantastic and their beer fridge is full of beer wonderment with many rare and hard to find beers!Great service, good music - what better way to start a weekend !!

This restaurant is quietly tucked away on Scenic Loop in Grey Forest. Be very cautious and aware that the speed limit is highly enforced at 20 mph. But, we were introduced to this restaurant for a couples night out gathering by our close friends. Plenty of dirt lot parking and they have a large outdoor patio seating with live music. We decided to sit indoors. All of us ordered margaritas and fajitas- chicken, shrimp, and beef. Complimentary chips and the warm salsa were yummy. I have never been served warm salsa at any restaurant before, so this was a nice touch. We also asked for their spicy salsa sampler (complimentary), I can tolerate high heat... they were tasty, but not spicy enough lol . My fave was the red salsa pictured at top of the sampler. The small size margarita was huge lol. I enjoyed the frozen mango marg. The fajita meats were seasoned and cooked perfectly. The grilled veggies were just ok. Plates also came with a cup of rice, barracho beans, small guac, and warm tortillas. A little overpriced for the portion compared to other restaurants we've been to. At the beginning, our servers were attentive, but as the restaurant became more busy... we were not checked on as much- did not receive water refills, whether we liked our food, and we had to flag down someone to get our bills! My fave was the warm salsa and chips.Military discount available

"Amazing food and service!I'm so happy that GMI was taken over by the Martinez family. Awesome food!"
"Restaurant looks very nice inside. Much nicer than fast food, relaxed but nice enough to take a chill date. The server was immediately ready to help and the friendliness didn't decrease when I was just picking up instead of eating in. It wasn't packed so late at night, but the food was hot and delicious. I had the crispy chicken, both unsauced and with smoky mayo, ddukboki, and all three of the fried dough balls. My favorites were the smoky mayo and the cheesy ball. The regular chicken was still nicely spiced with a little heat but not much.. The ddukboki was delicious, but definitely spicy. I could only eat a little and my friend who is a huge fan of spicy Asian fare was sweating while he ate it. So the dough balls were good. But the real star was the smoky mayo chicken. I know, terrible name, but the smoky spicy hit from the peppers was fantastic and the touch of creaminess added by the "Mayo" was exactly what sent this into possibly the best chicken I've ever had. You don't taste actual mayo, it's just like they substituted mayo for butter in a buffalo wing sauce with better peppers and less vinegar. I do truly appreciate them being open late.. There will be many more trips in my future. Thank you from all the night shift workers. Excellent all over."
"Always a treat. Great food, service and entertainment! Family and dog friendly is a huge plus. We love lounging outside sipping from their great beer selection."
"First time at Parry's Pizzeria and we're super exited to indulge in pizza heaven. When we arrived we were greeted by Anthony and his customer service was AMAZING. He greeted us with a warm smile and went over the menu with us, keeping that genuine warm smile. He was patient as we decided on what we were going to order. He wasn't pressuring at all and answered all of our 5,000 questions lol. He was very polite and respectful, you can tell that he loves his job and engaging with customers. It was a very pleasant experience. We order a 18' Lil Avery Cheese Pizza and the Uptown Mozzarella Sticks and we enjoyed the pizza but LOVED the mozzarella sticks. We would definitely return and dine in. The vibes here are super chill and a great spot for family dining or to hang out with friends. They also have Happy Hour all day on Sundays so if you love a good happy hour save the date! For my crafted beer lovers, they have a huge variety of your favs all on tap. This pizzeria is great and the menu is loaded with a lot of variety so bring your appetite when your craving pizza and swing by Parry's"
"Very cool local place. I would definitely come back and try again. My wife and I shared a 12in pepperoni, one of my friends made the comment that it was reminiscent of Sam's club pizza. I LOVE SAMS!!!! Not my favorite pizza in the city but it was still good! This place deserves a try especially during happy hour. Servers were awesome. Thanks to the manager Harry for the experience."
"Omg these margs are to die for. So good and dressed perfectly. It's such a cute little place in the perfect spot at the mall. I got the margarita flight with cucumber, mango, and strawberry. The bartender was the sweetest girl ever and made our drinks super quick. Definitely a good try if you drink and are at la Cantera!"
"I admit I am very picky about y QUE. I decided to give Ballhoggs a try after seeing the owner on the local news. First problem, GPS could not locate it. 2nd problem, the inside is dusty. Lots of stuff in the front of house that could use a good dusting and straightening up. But, the food was the reason I drove across town and it was good. I took my 2 meat plate to go so I could enjoy while binging a program. The brisket was falling apart tender and moist or just the way I like it, crusty with a little fat. Ribs were tender. The baked beans were just a little sweet and the potato salad was seasoned just right. I would post a photo but I ate first. All in all a good value and taste for my dollar."
"The vibe at the bar was it. I'm not sure I'd want to sit in the dining room. Wings were good, great Monday special. Pizza was ok. Drink was super strong, but the game was on & Ernest provided awesome service. Not bad for a Monday night at the bar too."
"I tried "Real Ale Oktoberfest" beer and a ten inch veggie pizza here. Very delicious. With fast service too. I love how clean and open the space is too. I'll come back here again."
