"It's always fun to try a new coffee spot I haven't been to yet, and I had the pleasure to celebrate my birthday here with my friends! Cute house with lots of outdoor front and back seating, but unfortunately since it was freezing cold, we had to sit inside. Seating was a little limited at that time, but we managed to find a large table for all of us!Super friendly service at the counter. And there was an array of yummy freshly made in house pastries behind the glass counter. I ordered a decaf latte with coconut milk & pump of hazelnut and an almond croissant. The coffee was STRONG, I had to ask for 4 more pumps of hazelnut lol I really enjoyed the toasted almond croissant- I'm a huge lover of almond paste. The rest of my friends ordered some breakfast croissants and they looked super deelish. The brunch menu offered on the weekends looked fabulous too. Afterwards we wandered outside, and in the back they have a chicken pen with the most beautiful rooster and hens. Met an employee who takes care of them and you can tell he enjoys his job and was happy to be there. : )"

My selection was a 10oz latte flavored with a syrup called Smoky Kentucky. It was delicious! Along with that I had a banana nut bread that accompanied it well. This is coffee done right; great service and cool vibes. I made a special trip a bit out of my way on foot to try this place because I had a feeling it would be worth it. I was not wrong!"

"It's a really sweet place. Cute woodsy area in the front - entrance can be a bit confusing if you park in their small lot. Doesn't help when there is a lot of construction going on. It looks like they have a very busy catering / take out, multiple bags being prepared and picked up while we were there. The staff (guy) who helped us was really friendly and very helpful while funny. The space is tight. Older converted small house with small rooms- poor ventilation, not very cool rooms. Went with my friend and we ordered the chicken salad and grilled pimento cheese sandwiches and we shared. We had the combo (potato rosemary, kettle chips & my friend had the soup & quinoa). Soup was a little heavy. My friend really liked the quinoa. The chicken salad definitely was pickle forward and had a bit going on- I didn't taste much of the chicken and a bit dry. Reminded me of a really good tuna salad. The pimento sandwich was good- different when grilled. I would almost ask for it cold - the pimento was that good. They have bottle and canned drinks. We had the lemon bar and the Mexican wedding cookie. I will say the flies were pretty bad which was surprising but not shocking based on the last review. They are everywhere and pesky as can be. This really took away from the experience. I hope you stop by and share your experience."

"Recommend: Maybe. If you are in the area and haven't tried them yourself, I would say check them out. Otherwise, there are probably other bakeries in the area with tastier treats. I was downtown for a Veterans Day parade and decided to walk around downtown where I came across Cinnaholic. I walked in from the back entrance where there are two other restaurants but leaves a seating area for Cinnaholic.Food: They have many "toppings" you can choose from or select from their recommendations. I selected from one of their recommendations- The Pumpkin Cheesecake Cinnamon Roll. The cinnamon roll was warm and gooey, it wasn't too big, and the flavor I selected wasn't too sweet (which I appreciated). I did find it to be a bit chewy. I also got a water. The total with tax was $9.74.Service: The service was good, the staff answered all my questions and gave me flavor recommendations. Ambiance: The location was clean. It's not a big location but there a several two seater tables. There weren't too many people. So the place was very quiet."

I thought it came with 3 but almost shed a tear when I saw there was a 4th one . The staff are absolute sweet hearts and treat you like family. Our wait for the food was short about 15-20 minutes and they apologized (?!) for the long wait but said that it was because it's all made fresh lol. It is quaintly decorated with theme a la France and has comfortable chairs and tables inside as well as outdoor seating options. There is a coffee bar, a glass chess set and books available to read. The only thing missong to make this truly La Vie en Rose was some light background music. Today we had some breakfast tacos, hot cocoa and a chai to-go but I look forward to returning for one of my favorites...CREPES! They do not offer GF (gluten free) treats. they also do not have decaf coffee. I do wish they were open a little later because we have gone by several times at 3pm because we were nearby and been sad to see them closed. They were super busy but Mariana and Flor were hard at work making everything fresh to order. The hot cocoa was perfect, the chai was super sweet, which is great but if you are no sugar be sure to ask, because I forgot to do that. "Oh my god I can't believe I hadn't reviewed this place yet. I needed to get a cake for my wife's birthday this past October and of course I waited until the last minute. I had a big family dinner at the melting pot set up and I hadn't ordered the cake yet. I went ahead at my sister's recommendation called Lucy's. We live in Blanco, Texas so my sister lives in San Antonio and offered to pick it up. I called and I will say the order takers over the phone do not have much of a bed side manner. They are very matter of fact and do not have time for niceties but they are efficient and get the job done and correct. They asked how I wanted it to be decorated and I just advised use Fall colors and have it say "Happy Birthday Alyssa" those were the only instructions. The cake I got was beyond my expectations. The end product was phenomenal. I then for my daughter's birthday a few week later ordered the cake from there as well and it was worth the one hour drive from our house in Blanco, Texas. My daughter has a tendency to ask for obscure heroes or characters this year it was Batgirl and thanks to Lucy's she had her most favorite cake yet. OH and if I haven't mentioned it yet the cake is moist and delicious and can do all different fillings. I have chosen both times the custardy cream and it has been so yummy that we will always get our cakes from here. Like I said do not be put off by their nonchalant straight to business demeanor they get the job done how you want and it is the most delicious cake you will ever have so it is worth the price and the drive."
