"This nice hole in the wall makes the best noodle soups! My wife and I especially like the Braised Beef noodle soup with the handmade thin noodles. Amazing!!"
"Okay...don't be fooled by the fact that this place serves amazing tea and boba drinks...you must try the food! It is surprisingly flavorful, rich and bright with very large portions for the price. We had the Taiwanese rice middle bowl and Gua Bao and the Jasmine iced tea with lychee stars. Let me be clear when I say...every single thing was DELICIOUS! Go there now!"
A generous serving of our braised pork belly slices, served with tender medium grained rice, an ajituske soft boiled egg, and vegetables.

"I'm not sure how this restaurant isn't a 5 star or even close to it! We wanted to check out a new sushi place and stumbled upon this gem! The decor is quite amazing, elaborate, intricate and simply jaw dropping in my opinion. Their attention to detail on the design of this place and decor is astonishing. Modern Japanese aesthetic meets the Japanese empire. It always keeps you looking. Every time I come, I see something I hadn't seen before. The lady at the front always greets you and the servers are fantastic! They were quick, informative and precise. Our food came out so fast even though they were packed! Definitely a lunch spot if you are crunched for time! They provide you with complimentary salad with their house made ginger dressing and miso soup. The ginger dressing can be purchased if you really like it like we did!! The miso soup was great too and flavorful. We ordered the following:- Karai Ramen: yowza!! This soup is perfect on a cold, rainy day. Heck this soup is perfect for even the Texas summer heat! The broth is so flavorful, with just the right amount of spice that makes your throat burn but in a good spicy kind of way! You want to keep going back for more! It has ground pork, a hard boiled egg, ramen and bean sprouts. The ramen noodles were perfectly cooked, not mushy but just the right texture. If your sick or if you just want a good spicy ramen soup, get this. You can't beat the price for the amount you get!! $10 and you can share between two people or keep it to yourself and take it home for left overs! With these high food prices, this definitely works on someone's budget! - Las Vegas Roll (deep fried): perfectly tempura'd, perfectly rolled, just the right amount of ingredients! You can get any sushi roll fried in tempura mix for $1.00! Again the price for the amount you get is right in point. - San Antonio Roll: of course you could get some at H-E-B, but these masters don't disappoint! They were rolled to perfection and the roll was quite hefty in terms of size! I get this every time I come here! Beautifully executed and plated with the right amount of sauces! - Texan roll (deep fried) : this was another hit! The wasabi tobiko cavier was very interesting but fun to eat! I've never had it before but it does have the wasabi flavor! Another dish we'd recommend! Again, I think the prices are reasonable with the amount you get! Definitely check this place out and their soups!!! Keep this one alive SA!!"
"Mings cafe and Ming's slaps always!! Tried a Sando it was bussin!! Ming's is always a go too! Especially on a rainy day it hits differently!! Service was amazing as always and super cute that they opened next door the cafe!"
"I am so impressed that the staff wanted us to take advantage of the Valentine's Day special. He had a Nepal beer and I had a Himalayan Shirley with Tito's. Get ready because it's a journey with a lot of food. Everything was lovely. The Nepal Achar reminded me of a better potato salad with no potato. Everything is very fragrant. The gulag Jamum was a cross between a donut hole and a hush puppy but way better. I couldn't even eat half it was so good. Looking forward to leftovers tomorrow at work. The restaurant is clean and ready for large or small parties. You can watch sports on tv if you'd prefer. Great for date night!"
"Let me tell you something if you haven't tried this place pull up right now you don't wanna miss out on this amazing food I give it a 10/10 i will be back again! So delicious I couldn't breathe i just ate ate ate! I didn't even snap a picture it was just so damn good ! Made me smack my lips good!"
"I've been here a number of times and I can honestly say that this is not the typical Chinese food you find in most places. It's elevated and thoughtfully curated to be delicious. Normally, I don't like green beans, but it said on the menu that they were famous and after trying them, I can see why. I tried re-creating their green beans at home and just cannot do it. They are a must try for everybody. They offer family style portions as well so if you're going in a group, this will allow you to try multiple dishes, which is ideal because everything here is so good. Also, their cocktails are great so if you're looking for a nice cocktail alongside your meal, they have a nice selection."
"Im so happy I found this place. It's small but cute, they have the freshest ingredients, varied and colorful toppings and dressings. Whatever combination your heart desires. The portions are generous and the prices are fair."
"We LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!! We always get the same thing. I personally can't get enough of the Shrimp Tepp!!!! My twin flame gets the Steak double fried rice. John is phenomenal. He's the funniest of the bunch. Thanks you HM!"
"We're fairly new to the area. The girls asked for sushi and this place is literally up the street. We're temporarily housed at the Big Tex Flats, so it's about a 5-7min walk. I phoned in my order and they said it would take about 40min. Everything tasted good and fresh! All of the "hot foods" were still relatively warm by the time I got the food and made the mini trek back to the apartment. I appreciate that they kept the "spicy" sauce separate from the edamame, allowing me to control the spicy level and not get the edamame too soggy. We've had sushi up and down the east coast && I have to admit that we were VERY skeptical of sushi with goat cheese vice cream cheese (e.g., Philly roll). But it was surprisingly good and a much smoother& creamier bite. Both of my girls liked the Philly roll and liked that it had both avocado and cucumber. The same comment goes for their cheese wonton, which also used goat cheese. We really really enjoyed those. I was hoping for a chili vinaigrette based cucumber salad but this wasn't bad. In fact, I ate the entire container (in two sittings tho). Even the 6 y/o thought it was good. The edamame was okay - what you expect from edamame but could use a nice punch of salt. However, for those watching their sodium intake, this is a good way to serve it. So I added my own sea salt flakes. Everyone enjoyed the gyoza. Husband had the king crab roll. He didn't really voice any comments about it, but considering that he ate it all, I'll say it was a win win. I had the shrimp tempura roll. It was a pretty mild and basic roll but good. My eldest also had the volcano roll. I tried a piece and it was yum! Had a LOT going on lol but I guess that's the "volcano erupting." We spent about $100 on this meal. A bit pricier than back home (MD prices) but I'm also not complaining too much about it. It was a pretty solid meal. Sadly, we're moving up/over? to the northwest side. So I doubt that I'd go out of my way to come back here, but who knows? If I find myself back in Southtown and I'm craving sushi, I'd probably swing by here."
"Thai Chef is cooking some of the most delicious Thai food I've had. The classic Drunken Noodle is spiced just enough that you know you've accomplished something, and the noodles are spot on al dente (chef's kiss). The chicken satay appetizer is tender, lightly seasoned, and accompanied by a phenomenal spicy peanut sauce. The space is intimate and warm, and managed by kind and engaged staff. This is most evident as the staff greets regulars by their first name... I love this!I highly recommend you try Thai Chef, and I have no doubt you'll add it to your dining rotation. Cheers!"
"I love giving 5 star reviews! And I love Frederick's Bistro. The food is always good and very consistent. I LOVE the beer salad here... I have it every time. All the food is great. It's a nice quiet place for a date and also has a terrific happy hour!"

I've been coming to Lucky Noodle for years and I'm happy that they still have the consistent, quality, budget-friendly menu. I stopped by on a weekday night and ordered the beef with hand pulled noodle. It includes some bok choy in a savory soup that can be made to the spiciness of your choosing. The service is friendly and the food comes out quickly if you order the noodles. This is my go-to place for quick eats and comfort food. They also have a variety of other dishes like stir-fried foods, cold noodles, and other interesting items. Seats includes booths and tables. It's not a large restaurant and probably fits about 15 groups of 4.

Wow! I never would have guessed that Artea sold food! But boy do they! And it's great. Such a variety of dishes and stand out flavors. I would now consider them to be one of the best choices for Asian food. You order from the counter and they give you a buzzer for when your food is ready. Service is quick and friendly. The space is clean and comfortable. They had a 100 rating on the health department score . I had the bacon fried rice which was a bit bland at first but came alive with just a spot of soy sauce. Friends had the teriyaki chicken which was delish, potstickers , edamame and sushi which was all excellent! Now that I know that Artea is a full service restaurant and not just a boba tea spot, I'll be back for sure.

I'll start with the ambiance, very colorful and inviting, they start you off with a miso soup and salad, the salad is just romaine but the salad dressing is what makes it, miso dressing...the food was on point with great flavors and the staff is super friendly, great date night place

Really good Chinese restaurant in town. We sat in the bar area, which was more intimate and "cozier" than the main room. Tried the duck, a chicken dish, some starters and the pork belly. Everything was excellent. Didn't try any drinks.

I had the chance to try Hula Poke today since I was craving Poke, and let me just say this quality of food does not disappoint! I ordered from DoorDash and this wouldn't be my first time trying this delicious place, I can say the food is well put together and super tasty!I usually get it delivered cause I'm a great distance away so I can't comment on the service but the food speaks for itself! You will not be disappointed to explore the exotic food here.I ordered a Poke Bowl which comes with customizable options that really make the ordering experience simple and easy! The flavors of the Crab Sticks & Salmon are so tasty and I would definitely recommend getting a variations of sauces to find your perfect preference! I also love the Takoyaki, it is a must try at this yummy restaurant. Only downside I would add is the hot cheetos I had in my bowl were a bit stale and my rice could've been a little more fresh but that's all I would have to say other than that you should really check out this lovely food.

"My first visit today. "J" was working and awesome at his job. I arrived after the lunch crowd and there were a few tables that needed bussed, but the place was clean and welcoming. "J" apologized for the dirty tables - truly there was no need for that because he was focusing on the to go orders and me and there were maybe 3 tables that needed cleaned. He was attentive and helpful my entire time there. I will go back when I'm in that area again."
"Ordered two hot entrees, for delivery: mango fried rice and chicken pad soon set and the mango sticky rice for dessert and it arrived hot tasty fresh and satisfying! 5/5 stars tonite"
"I am not a buffet person, preferring instead to have kitchen personnel focus on preparing my order and deliver it directly to my table. I find buffet food cooked for many and placed in a warming tray for who knows how long to affect doneness. Which I found to be true here. That said, this is one of the better Chinese buffets I have tried in town. There is a vast array of options, from raw or cooked sushi to ice cream and other desserts to all the oriental dishes to pizza and french fries and salads. There's even a Mongolian grill. The salad bar has less of the typical lettuce and veg to put on it but instead more of the mac or potato or seafood salads. I found some of the fish dishes too done and dry. There are many types of chicken, some fried and some not. They were busy when I was there, so perhaps that accounts for the dining room not as clean on the floors. It is a large place so not a long wait. But overall I recommend if a Chinese buffet is what you are looking for."
"I absolutely love the food here. Service was fast, especially when you have multiple servers. The place is a quiet dark little bar, but the food is so good. Drinks from the bar also very good. I will definitely go back and would recommend to anyone."
"Food was amazing. The price is slightly higher then expected till you see you rolls. The rolls are bigger then other sushi restaurants. The flavor top notch. My son got the Orange chicken and the pieces were huge. It was my wife's birthday and she had a glass of the Sangria it was tasty. Our server took great care of us. The place was cozy. I can't wait to come back and try more sushi and maybe some ramen. This was a great birthday spot I can't wait to try more of the delicious food."
"So yummy! Delicious warm bowl for the chilly week of San Antonio. The dining experience was unique and just fun. You order and then they push your order through these doors and the decor is very anime style, pops of color. My boyfriend got the yakisoba and he devoured it and I got the ramen. I'm not keen on some veggie ramens because I don't like some of the vegetables so places add but this was great and adding the fried tofu was that perfect bit of protein."
"even years later this is the only Thai restaurant I will ever go to around town. If you want authenticity, outstanding customer service, and amazing taste then you need to frequent Rice & Spicy. The Christmas season makes it more wonderful because they decorated inside and have Christmas music going. The family that owns this wonderfulrestaurant treats you like one of their own and even remembers their guest orders. I'm very pleased to see them gain popularity and new faces always dining in whenever u get a chance to visit."
"Angkor Bistro is our new favorite Thai restaurant. We have ate inside during lunch and ordered take out for dinner. During lunch, there is plenty of seating, food comes out quickly, and our server is amazing. He is always on his own, but you wouldn't notice, our AMAZING sweet tea is never empty and they have even brought out little toys for our little one to play with while eating. It feels like a little family restaurant and the food is great. We religiously order either the Pad Thai or the Pad Woonsen. Both portions are big for the lunch special, we always have enough to bring home for leftovers. Give this place a try and you will love it. There is also a Boba Smoothie place within the restaurant that I have heard good things of. When we are eating, there are tons of people in and out, getting drinks."
"Ate here when in San Antonio 3 months ago. Made it a point to come back. Started with Hot & Sour Soup. I just wanted a cup, but the small is a bowl. Ate it. All of it. Best H&S ever had. The Pad Thai was as good this time as last time. Hard choice as I love red curry. Service great. Food comes out piping hot."
"Nice place in a strip mall. They have hot or cold dishes. They even have a low carb item for those watching their waistline. Friendly staff with a clean environment"
"P.F. Chang's never miss! Everything is always so good and well seasoned. The inside is very welcoming and well decorated. Staff very helpful and really understand the menu. Best Brussels sprouts ever. Also try the Mongolian beef!"
"On my quest to find the best Thai green, curry dish, I stumbled upon this restaurant while driving in the area! I decided to order the Thai green curry along with chicken pad Thai. Once again, the pad Thai was OK, but it lacked the spiciness that I was looking for. However, the Thai green curry with spicier and had more flavor. The curry paste was appropriate, and the combination meats were appropriate as well. Finally, the Thai green curry was worth the trip, and I will try other dishes there. But was surprised over the ordinary offering of chicken pad Thai. If you are in the area, it is worth a try."
"My food was absolutely fresh and delicious, it doesn't take long at all and was presented nicely! Highly recommend!"
"Food: my kids were desperate to try rolled ice cream. Got the oreo one. They had no complaints. Said it was yummy! Service: took awhile to be helped, no one was really at the front, we ended up going outside to come back in just so the door bell would go off again in hopes it'll get someones attention. It worked. Friendly staff, also welcoming. Ambiance: nothing fancy, more like your mom and pop shop, but good enough to get what you need. No complaints."
"Ken with Offline - As a 15 year plus downtown resident, this is our backyard. With 30 plus years in the hospitality field (now retired) I feel I can bring you real insight into our locations. The good, the bad and the ugly. If we run across a serious issue, I will always go directly to management and not post it. I truly believe you always must give management an opportunity to correct a serious issue. If not corrected and or just ignored, then I feel it is correct to inform the public - professionally. No establishment is perfect. I will bring to you smaller hiccups we may have come across. I will rarely comment on the taste of food - being bad, as that is a very personal thing. My wife and I disagree on taste of food and wine, no one is wrong or right. Now if the food is on fire, burned, under/overcooked to our requests, that would be mentioned. I'm always here for general downtown questions and possible recommendations.Hey, you can find good food at strip centers! We drove out to Ming's at La Cantera to meet friends. Don't judge a book by its color. All four of us really enjoyed the meals. Large portions for the price point. It was about half full, but we had no issues chatting/ambience. Not that the dessert was bad, let's just call it different! Rice pudding. One of our peeps ordered an old fashion. Typically, you get a cherry and if you're lucky a Maraschino cherry. It wasn't a cherry and to be frank, none of us are sure what it was. Would we go back, we sure would - food was super.Picture is dessert"
"1st time here came on a Saturday and it was dead. Food came out fast and food was really good. I love trying new teriyaki places and would definitely come back to try a different bowl"
"The food was very good. Service very good. Cleanliness was less than good. Restrooms need a good cleaning and possibly updating. The walls floor, toilets and sink needed a good cleaning. I don't think walls have ever been cleaned. Not good. The salt and pepper shakers were very dirty at the touch. Not appetizing.... Makes you wonder if the food prep and kitchen is at equal cleanliness."
"Clean. Yummy food. Great service. Getting Mongolian chicken to go. Super pleased. Will def be back"
"So I do not know how in the world you could give this place less than 5 starts. Omg the food was amazing! The portions were beyond believe and we had plenty of choices to chose from. I had the jalapeño chicken. I am normally a General Tao's or Kung Pao chicken kind of guy but this changed my life! Obviously I like spicy but this had the perfect flavor without a lot of heat. Another choice is the jalapeño beef if you're not that fond of the chicken. There was a couple by us that had some dietary preferences and they cook came out to discuss their request and it looked amazing when it came out."
"Acceptable I feel is the best I can bestow upon Wok Inn. Having coworkers order this in for a training, it got the job done; that is I was not hungry afterwards but I also didn't feel overly full or gross. The flip side of it is, had I paid for this out of pocket, I would have been more so disappointed. Their website makes ordering a breeze (kudos them)! It's super streamlined and user friendly and delivery was quick. Our food arrived hot, ahead of the estimated wait time, and correct. I opted for the Cantonese Broccoli over whole grain rice with tofu and a side of egg drop soup. The portion was spot on for lunch, not too much but left me satiated. The tofu and broccoli were well coated in sauced and cooked nice but the sauce wasn't overly flavorful. The rice by itself bland but improved upon when mixed with the tofu and broccoli. The egg drop soup was a nuclear orange color, and mostly broth. There was a strand or two of egg floating in it but few and far between to be found. It not only was devoid of texture with no crispy noodles provided but also devoid of flavor. Suffice it to say I don't foresee me order from Wok Inn anytime soon especially if I am paying out of pocket rather than it being a work expense. It just didn't bring anything to the table other than I wasn't full afterwards and I can get that from almost any dining experience in the area."
"We stopped for lunch & it wasn't too busy. Beautiful wall decor & very clean. I ordered the salmon teriyaki bento box & he had the chicken teriyaki bento box. We had different sides so we could share. The teriyaki sauce was very tasty and they both had generous servings. They also have a Chinese menu"
"Wow I can't believe I've never been here. I don't live far either. I came across it online. Saw the menu and was blown away. Asian and Latin mix? What a beautiful combo. My husband is half Puerto Rican and when we saw Puerto Rican dishes on the menu we knew it was a must try. Threw me off that it was inside of a gas station but it's definitely a hidden gem. Everything was so tasty and the portions are hefty. We bought 2 orders of tostones thinking one wouldn't be enough but one order is definitely enough they are Huge. I make mine crispier but they were still good. The chicken and teriyaki with fried rice was so fulfilling. Again bigger than expected. The plantains were delightful and those Latin wontons...amazing. This place was a hit with the family. Will be a returning customer :)"
"Keeping it short and simple. I have lost track on the orders I have made here. I can say that I realized I was coming multiple times a week and needed to slow down. Most people justify going to a buffet due to the prices they offer but rarely compare the quality. I've gone to buffets but would rather pay whatever Tikka asks in order to get their grub. They are decently priced for the quality they provide. Generous portions, great customer service and consistently is on point. You get what you pay for and they never fail to deliver. I get the lamb Tikka w/ tandoori chicken. Keeping me away form my diet lol love this place ! Also Seems like a clean truck as well ! Which I am very critical on"
