I was told to try out Bull Gogi Boys and when they were at The Block. I got the bulgogi plate and was lucky enough to have the owner's Korean mom there as well, it got me to practice my Korean and reassuring to know it was as authentic as it could be.I got the bulgogi plate because I was really hungry. So, I have plenty of bad experiences of bulgogi at big Korean cookouts-overly sweet, super stringy and altogether disappointing. Fortunately, Bull Gogi Boys made me rethink it. Balanced flavor, nice meaty tender pieces and perhaps most importantly, the rice to meat ratio was perfect. The owner's mom makes the kimchi and it showed, store-bought kimchi is good but homemade stuff is a world of difference. On top of the two pieces of mandoo made it a satisfying end of the night.

I first heard of Bull Gogi Boys from the Facebook group, San Antonio Restaurants. I hadn't had Korean food in a while so I was looking forward to trying them out. I checked out their Facebook page and saw they had wings available Sunday. Since my husband can't eat red meat for heart health, I messaged to find out what other chicken dishes they had. We ended up texting our order for the wings, bulgogi bowl, yaki mandu, and the Korean street tacos for pick up at 12:30pm.We headed over and I hadn't realized that they were at The Block. Sadly, the other food trucks weren't open likely due to the covid situation. Also, what are the chances that another Ruth (and also Asian) with a similar order was there at the same time!We thoroughly enjoyed all the food and had leftover to take home. The bulgogi bowl came with rice, cucumber, and kimchi. The street tacos had a bit of heat on it and were tasty. Highly recommend the dishes and we'll definitely be back.

Did not exist at the address given in Yelp. We went there and found a mobile home development. We looked on Facebook to try to find these folks but found nothing. Don't going running around trying to find this food truck.

They're currently posted up at The Block, and as the name implies, there are plenty of bulgogi items available here. You can get 4 bulgogi street tacos for $5. Most food trucks are pricey, so I consider this a good value for $5 and they were very filling. The corn tortillas they were served on were hot, fresh, and very tasty. Topped with cilantro, feta cheese, fresh cabbage, a light dousing of sriracha sauce AND a spicy mayo. All the toppings made these tacos a flavor bomb, but it detracted from the flavor of the bulgogi meat. I'm not saying I wouldn't get these again, I'm just saying that the bulgogi deserves to stand out just a tad bit more. I also ordered the Yaki Mandu - six chicken dumplings with a sweet spicy dipping sauce for a total of $6. This was the best item ordered from this food trailer. They were awesome! After letting my food digest and playing giant Connect Four for a while, I found myself back at this food trailer. That's when I ordered the Bulgogi Fries ($8). The bulgogi in this dish was much more flavorful because it wasn't covered up by everything else. Although the flavor of the bulgogi stood out in this dish, the fries weren't the best, and the combination of the other toppings just didn't mix well with the fries. The toppings were good, and they were fresh, they just don't belong on fries in my opinion. I'd take a pass on this dish in the future. All in all, the Bull Gogi Boys have a good thing going. Don't let this review scare you away. I'd try the street tacos again, and definitely the dumplings. I'm just not sold on the fries.

I was at this food truck park for a Yelp event but wanted to try something in addition to the freebie I was about to receive from another truck. After looking at the menus for all the other trucks, I selected Bull Gogi Boys. I chose the Loaded Fries with beef. This is definitely not a side order item. It was a generous serving and made two meals for me. Although good and filling, if it had kimchi or chopped green onion, it would have been that much better. Friendly service.

This was one of the things on our "bucket list". We drove 30 minutes for this. He was quick to respond via messenger & quick via text. We appreciated it. When the food is ready, he will also let you know! my husband ordered the bulgogi bowl. I ordered the tacos. Not gonna lie, the Korean part of me came to compare & they didn't disappoint We also bought their kimchi as well... It's fresh! Now the tacos... wow! Talk about confusing my palate One nite I'm having memories of my moms korean food, then the next the corn tortillas, cilantro & queso throws you to the original taco flavor. I was really trippin Def a fun combo! I recommend this place for anyone who's not sure if they wanna try it out or not

I got the street tacos, which were delicious. But, it wasn't as filling to my liking (4 small tacos), especially for $8. I would like to try the loaded fries next time, that looked good too!

This truck is legit. Had the K-wings and the street tacos. Wings were made to order, perfectly fried, and very meaty. Just the right balance of sticky sweetness, delicate crispness, and slowly building heat. These could give Vons a run for the money. Korean Street tacos were good but didn't jump out with much Korean flavor. Don't get me wrong, definitely very tasty, just didn't have a "fusion" character to it. Not to worry, nothing that a little topping of kimchi can't fix. Added it on top and, boom, did the trick.Service was friendly and prompt. They even let me buy a stand alone side of kimchi so I could add it to some fish tacos I bought from the truck next door. (For the record, I ate 7 tacos and 8 wings in one sitting. I was debating hitting up the shawarma truck in the next parking lot but decided I'd be kind and let that shawarma live another day. But I'm not a quitter so I grabbed an ice cream sandwich from the convenience store next door.)The location, The Block SA, is the best Food Truck park I've been to ever. Plenty of parking, lots of shaded picnic tables, music pumping, clean bathrooms (not porties), a bar, wide open grass, lawn games, and best of all you can bring your dogs! I guess the other awesome thing is that everybody - truck workers, bar staff, customers, dogs - seemed so friendly, polite, clean, and clearly there to enjoy themselves and ensure everyone else enjoys themselves, too.Bull Gogi Boys, thanks for a 5 star experience! I'll be back.

Picked up the family pack and oh boy! So much food for so little in price. Literally had enough for 2 more meals, which is great since Im currently working from home and this made for a quick and easy lunch. If you haven't tried them, give them a shot, you won't be disappointed. Give them a call to pre order if you can!
