Nice, large parking lot, cold ac inside with separate pool table area. TV's to watch games, and they support Texas teams. Nice patio area with an outdoor stage. They have live music, drink specials and kid, as well as pet friendly. They have a very sweet, handsome resident pittie that loves to greet you and let you love on him. They serve popcorn and pitcher specials.

Great place to drink some cold beers & mixed drinks! The bar tenders are great & move quickly. We went on a Thursday nite, steak nite! For $25 you get a huge freshly grilled rib eye, baked potato salad & a coupon for a drink from the bar! Parking is plentiful.

Finally made it out to Brooster's Backyard to check out the 25+ vendors that were selling their homemade and unique goods for the Southside Market Days event. Parking was easy and plentiful. There is a side street that you can park up and along the way as well just be sure to leave any driveways open as trucks and other vendors gotta get in and park too/unload.Inside it is super spacious! We came in on a Sunday when the Cowboys were playing during the day and there must have been at least 50+ people inside watching on the large big screens and cheering the 'Boys on. Plenty of high table tops and plenty of seating for you to hang with you and your crew inside.Outside was a whole other world! There was corn hole, oversized Jenga blocks, and tables and shade. All of the seating and tables were super sturdy and brightly colored too! I love that I saw a lot of smaller kids running around, playing games, and overall enjoying the outside atmosphere. Lots of good gravel and grass to help pave your way to your seat or table of choice.When we were here there were at least 4 vendors selling food from hamburgers to BBQ. I really loved that we had several options for food and didn't have to go far. From what I understand from the family, who are regulars, there is always at least 1 vendor selling food on any given day or night. Drinks and service was amazing! The beer specials were especially nice for me and my wallet. I also loved that Brooster's has their own specialty cocktails or mixed drinks they promote on their colorful dry erase boards. We tried their Broosters Backyard Punch that was less than $3! It was delicious. Be sure to ask the nice friendly bartenders what they recommend and what is on special! They are reliable and legit recommendations too!Excited to come back thru in December for the next market and enjoy some more punch under the afternoon sun at Brooster's. This is a nice hidden gem in Southside San Antonio.

I had a good time and glad I finally made it out. I've heard so much about it and seen flyers for all types of events. Yes, it's a bar but kids are allowed. I even saw a kid playing pool with his mom. Others were dancing to the music. I stayed outside to watch the live band. There's plenty of tables throughout and picnic tables up front. The place was packed. I ran into people I knew and some friends I hadn't seen in a long time. Everyone seemed happy and excited to dance the night away.

Awesome bands, great patio, Thursday steak night yum . If you like crowds, friendly people having a good time...... then this is the place to be. You can reserve sections of the patio for Birthday parties, retirements or anniversaries. Check out the bands coming up! It feels like a live concert in your backyard but in "Brooster's Backyard"! Pool tables inside, Dart boards and clean restrooms!

My first time here, very chill place with excellent prices on beer, including the crafts they have in can. The DJ has the music turned up a bit much as you have to yell to converse with people inside, there is plenty of outdoor seating for cooler nights. Bar staff was fast with getting drinks out. Looking forward to visiting again.

I have not been here yet, but I hear great things about this family friendly bar with a large outdoor area. I'll be stopping by soon with my familia.

Awesome neighborhood place with great drinks, friendly staff, and clean restrooms. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to go on the south side of SA!

I think we can give this place a three star for now. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. It was neutral and it is fairly new. It has a big competition on the next block which I think they get it. Let people get tired of that joint then try this one. But the other place offers a lot more then this one. Yes we are talking about R&J Saloon on Flores Street. But like I said Brooster's was okay for a late night hang out with some friends not all friends.

I was there Saturday, February 11. When I walked in I felt the cold air immediately. The entire time I was there it was unbearably cold. This made for a most uncomfortable experience. I heard customers complain to the manager and they were hollered at and told the temperature was that cold because the owner wanted it that way. I guess the customer isn't always right at Brooster's. I will not be going back.
