Braza Brava Pizzeria Napoletana

Stopped here for a last minute Valentine's Day dinner and was not disappointed!Braza Brava Pizzeria has a very nice atmosphere once you step inside; I immediately was greeted by one of the servers and was able to enjoy some live piano while figuring out where we wanted to sit. They had reservations but were able to fit us in and have us seated right away!They have 4 dining areas to choose from. There's a small area with large windows and beautiful lights strung across the ceiling (which is the area we were seated at), the main area which you can choose to be seated at the bar or off to the side next to the live piano, and an outdoor seating area.Our waiter was very nice and attentive and was able to help us pick out a dish. I enjoyed the dapper attire that was worn by the workers as well.I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and my girlfriend got the salmon fillet with pasta. Admittedly, the portions were a tad small, but the food was good nonetheless. I enjoyed the flavor of the meatballs and the salmon was also cooked nicely along with the pasta. We ended up getting dessert (Nutella cheesecake; wow!) and it was delicious! The price was also very fair, I did not break the bank dining in here. Though the atmosphere does seem very fancy, the prices are very reasonable. I ended up spending under $70 as a dinner for 2 with dessert. Will definitely be returning!

I went for a birthday celebration and the treatment was absolutely disgusting! First off I was spoked to rudely by the hostess stating "I just got here" then I was ignored and forgotten as I waited to be seated by the hostess. When the ladies at my table asked for lemons the waitress put them on a napkin and brought them to the table. We were there for a birthday party the birthday girl was later told by her daughter, who planned the outing told she was supposed to have complementary cake and staff would sing happy birthday and make her feel special. That Didn't happen! Everyone felt deflated and this birthday memory will remain a negative one.

Although this place has pizzeria in its name, they have a variety of other options to choose from besides pizza. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, with a clean garden vibe outside, and a rustic pizzeria inside. Service was good, and there is also complimentary bread and oil.I tried the oyster Rockefeller, and it was super yummy. The oyster wasn't overcooked and the cheese wasn't overwhelming either. Would I get it again here? Probably not, but I'm glad I tried them. For the main entree, I got the seared scallops, which includes two scallops over squid ink pasta. I do wish there was one more scallop to make it three in total, but the scallops were cooked perfectly and the squid ink pasta was delicious. The portion size was perfect, and pricing ($22) was reasonable.I do want to come back another time and try the pizzas, which looked really good from nearby tables. I would definitely recommend coming here for some delicious Italian food.

Their food and drinks are fantastic. It's a smaller restaurant and will fill up on weekend nights but the wait is never too long. Both their pizza and pasta is good - but who doesn't love a wood fire pizza??

The food was great. I usually feel like crap after eating restaurant food,but not here. The service was also great. The place was clean. I'd go back for sure

The best pizza in San Antonio. Very nice atmosphere, perfect for a date night. If only the customers would stop staring at us.

Hidden gem. We love this place! I am one of those people who raises their nose at pizzas, but not at this place. Never have I even enjoyed pizza so much,probably the only place I with have pizza. Oh! And their meatballs ate outstanding

We've been going to eat at BB for over 2 years now since we moved from Houston and always loved the food but this Saturday the only thing that came out correctly was the pizza - All of the pasta dishes were nothing like they used to be - while I waited for my party to arrive - I noticed back in the kitchen the cooks reading recipes and adding ingredients - and a bartender that had served the beer incorrectly. Then after we ate, we were left at the table without getting the check and had to get up to ask for it again while the employees were eating and cleaning as all the guests had left.We wanted to share this with your management - sent an email but it was returned - as this is the first time this has happened at your place which we loved going to as and its so close to our house - and we were so embarrassed in front of our guest that had come in from another city. I hope this helps improve your situation!
