This place is amazing, I get lunch here frequently and it's never ever disappointed, it's never soggy, never cold, I love the po boys and the shrimp liquid pasta, everyone working there is also so kind!

We came here for a late lunch on a Saturday. It wasn't too busy and we were sat right away. We started with the oyster trio which was a nice way to taste their different oyster options. My wife got the jambalaya and I got the blackened catfish and shrimp. We both really enjoyed our meals and the portions were enough to take leftovers home. The restaurant is located in a shopping center and has plenty of parking.

The service was great! Unfortunately, the food was lacking. I ordered small steak tenderloins. There were three of them and they all were overcooked. Even my mashed potatoes were greasy and dripping in oil. My spouse had the Diablo red fish and it was so salty and over spiced he could not finish it. The staff was really amazing. They tried to fix things as it happened but the night was lost to us and when the bill is over 200$ you expect to be able to rave about one thing

Amazing dishes with amazing flavor! Service is always great and the restaurant is always clean. Had the Cajun combo and I must say it was a treat. Shrimp Creole and Blackened Catfish for $16 bucks. Can't beat it!

This was our second or third time at Bourbon Street and I've got really mixed feelings about it. Each time we've been there, it was not crowded - so much so that we almost didn't go in. We walked in and the floor by the front door was sticky - like a soda was spilled and not cleaned up. The food was good - I had the shrimp creole with dirty rice and it was really good. My wife had the linguini Mardi Gras and she said it was fairly bland. Portion sizes were very good!We sat at the bar and the bartender was more interested in talking with one of the regulars than providing good service. He rarely, if ever glanced our way to see if we needed anything a I had to interrupt their conversation twice to ask for a refill and salt & pepper.

This place isn't bad at all but once you've had pappadeaux, it's not the same. Now don't get me wrong the food is good (well at least what I tried) and the price was a bit cheaper. The amount of food you get too is great for dinner and lunch the next day. I'd definitely go back and try some of their other dishes.Oh but let me do say this, don't get anything with scallops. They are so tiny, it's like eating popcorn.

I was pleasantly surprised with our dining experience at Bourbon Street. Restaurant is literally 5 minutes from our house, but never made an effort to try it out until now. Bourbon street reminds me of a smaller scale, more local, quieter Pappadeaux. Both have similar themes and cuisine. There are white tablecloths on the tables which gives a more "upscale" vibe, but I still think it's more on the casual dining side.Service is very friendly and helpful, but a little slow to start. We started out with drinks and 2 appetizers. The fried calamari and oysters bourbon street were really good. Drinks were made very well and strong! Entrees came out shortly after we finished our appetizers and they were all delicious as well! Definitely will make our way back here!

A group of 20 of us had an 11:45 reservation for a table for lunch on Valentine's Day. The host of our group made a reservation three weeks prior when she was told that we wouldn't be seated until all of us had arrived, and I won't go into detail about how much time our host spent to remind us of this. (I also won't go into detail about our ages or our mental and physical capabilities lest I go into a conversation of ageism.) When we arrived, we were not greeted with smiles or "hello" or any sort of pleasantries but were told -again- that we wouldn't be seated until the entire party arrived. It didn't take the manager too long to figure out that having a dozen or so bodies in their entryway wasn't a good strategy and finally let us sit. After waiting a considerable amount of time, our server asked for drink orders. We hadn't received menus yet, so one of our group members requested them which irritated our server who, by the way, also never greeted us or cracked a smile during his entire service. We finally received our menus and spent the next several minutes making choices from the affordable lunch menu which is one of the reasons we chose Bourbon Street. The last straw is this: At least five or ten minutes had passed while we chatted about our lunch choices when the manager came in and announced that we could only order off the dinner menu with prices at approximately 30-40% higher. He high-tailed it out of there. What???!!! My only kudos are to the kitchen that prepared our food in a timely manner. We were taken advantage of and treated poorly, and the food was average at best. But the 20% gratuity was included, so why bother to deliver friendly service. Bourbon Street lost the business of all who attended and the patronage of all of the people we will tell. (Note: the restaurant was nowhere full)
