Great dive bar, fun crowd.3 or 4 pool tables in good shape.It's a full bar with about a dozen tap beers, most are the domestic big brands but they do have a couple of the usual regional microbrews and Dos Equis on draft. There are more cold brews in cans and bottles.It's really a fun place to hang out, and it comes complete with the usual interesting cast of dive bar clientelle.

Boozehounds is located on the NW side of Perrin - Beitel and Loop 410 intersection in a shopping center. In all the years I've been there, I have never met a friendly bartender... and that's so sad to say when I make friends every where I go. Lol. It is a favorite local bar for many of my friends... many of which have bands that play there... FREE COVER... and it's close to home so it is hard to say no when they are there! $3.25 for a Coors Light. I don't call that cheap beer for a so called dive bar. Pool tables are covered when there is band. I have only been there when there is a band. Boozehounds does have a large patio but it's the smoking area... I walked out to check it out and get some fresh air, I mean in and out, and I came home reeking of smoke. I sure am glad there is a no smoking law in bars now. I don't miss that smell. Boozehounds is not one of my fav places... and like I said, I only go to support live local music, to support my friends, when they are playing close to home.

Great little dive bar and every time I go I have a blast. Plenty of pool tables, cheap drinks, great music, owner is cool as hell and one of the bartenders always gets up with me on stage to do some "meow meows" (presidents of the U.S.). I also love their outdoor area for some vape and chit chat.

Long story short, Went a few years back bad experience!!! Bartender broke glass in the ice, didn't change out the ice scooping the glass and ice into cups, in was drinking mixed drinks, I ingested glass, and it cut up my mouth and throat, along with a few other people in our group. We were there for a party, there was about 20 of us. My friend was upset about us tasting blood and we realized there was shards of glass in our cups, took the cups up to the bar, manager had bartender clean out the ice, and gave us a round of shots. That's literally it! None of us have gone back none of us ever will, anytime someone mentions boozehounds we warn them. Well left afterwards. It was a nightmare. I had cuts in my throat and around my gums, I should have visited the hospital but I'm stubborn. Don't risk it. Too many great bars in the area. Hopefully my post isn't taken down or deleted again.

Best fucken bar . Great prices n great rinks omg. Ac is on point pool tables n darts. Best fucken chips in the world for 3 dollars. U must come n have a blast

Great chill place to go. Bartenders are always on top of it and have great personalities. They also have food like wings and fried pickle.

Everytime I come on vacation, I come here. Which 4-5 times a year. It's a great place! Happy hour is cheap! The bartenders are great!

Nothing fancy, but it doesn't pretend to be. This is a solid neighborhood bar and pool hall. They have about a half dozen pool tables, plus three of the newfangled, online networked darts machines. It's clean inside and doesn't have the typical small bar smell. Bathroom is not spotless, but useable.The bartenders are all very friendly and will get to know your name and your drink(s) of choice after your first couple of visits. The patrons are very friendly as well, and most everyone seems to know each other. Drinks are cheaper than in an average bar or pub in the area -- there are three specials on Mon-Thurs including a $2.50 draft beer.When there last night I counted 17 beers on tap. I can't speak to the quality of variety of their liquors or mixed drinks, or the bartenders' ability to mix, because I stick to beer.They have three large TVs above the bar, and another couple behind, for the people playing pool. Also, there is a TapTV networked trivia game system for nerds like myself. A Metallica pinball machine and the newest version of whatever that arcade golf game is are stuffed in a corner (though I've never seen anyone playing). There is a TouchTunes jukebox hooked up to a decent sound system where you can play your favorite music.Live bands play free shows every Friday and Saturday night at 10:00. It can get rather crowded on the weekends, because the inside is not huge. They do have a small patio out in front with tables and chairs for people who want to smoke.
