Bonzai Japanese Steak & Sushi

It took forever for our waiter to come over, but once he did Andry was great.The drinks were delicious but everything else was just okay. I wanted edamame with "extra" salt, but there wasn't really. My steak I ordered med well which is usually how I order it but this time it very dry.The flavor is wasn't there for me. This was a firm that would help the front yard.Everyone was dressed for Halloween which was cool to see and kind of suprising. Even the inside was decorated. Very cool

Quick service. Hibachi lunch is ok. Have not tried the sushi rolls maybe next time. Saw on other tables they look good.

Yakizoba taste bad, three penson that ordered it didn't done with it cause the burned grill flavor, raw onions and over cook beef, chicken and shrimp we all ordered with different protein, and yeah all of then with bad flavor.

We love to come here for celebrations eat teppanyaki style! Had a great host to cook our food, it's the typical entertainment but he made it lively. The place was clean and I was able to make reservations of 9 easily and seated only once full party was present. Food is always great, prices are to be expected. Usually the only downfall when we come here is the auto added gratuity that is NOT shared with the staff. Goes to the owners. The additional tip goes to the staff. I hate that. Makes me not want to support honestly, actually, I just removed a star from my initial 5 stars. I haven't been here in years because I found that little info out. But the staff was great, made it a great celebration for my son's 19th birthday.

We came here for my kids birthday and it was awesome! I was so worried it wasn't going to be enough food for everyone, but it was a lot. There were nine of us in total so we had our own area and the hibachi chef kept us entertained the whole time. I would definitely recommend!

Soft opening today and everyone was very friendly and the food was fabulous! We had an assortment of sushi rolls, bento box and tempura shrimp and vegetables. It was all very well presented and had a great flavor. Super happy that they are finally open and close to our neighborhood! Clean restaurant and an actual sushi bar for those that like to sit by the chef. Definitely worth it!!

We've been to Bonzai several times. We've sat at the hibachi and at the tables. Both areas are fine and the food is always good. The ambiance can be very nice if you're going for a special occasion however it gets very crowded on a Friday evening. In this particular visit it was just my husband and I. We typically have a crowd. The waiter took roughly 5 minutes to get to us and he did apologize and that was much appreciated. Upon ordering I ordered something new. I wanted sushi and our waiter provided the set up of soup and salad for no additional charge (guessing because of the minor inconvenience of waiting for him) again much appreciated.My Bonzai Roll was the best I've had. The peppered tuna was so fresh. Of course the steak and chicken was delish too. If you're planning to come and have seen other hibachi performances consider sitting at a table and still order hibachi. Our waiter was very tentative and he earned himself a nice tip. We will plan to go back and ask for him.

The filet mignon from the hibachi is fantastic! Very tender and flavorful. The portions are so generous they are really enough for 2 meals (leftovers). Every course is tasty, including the ginger dressing on the salad. We usually skip the sautéed veggies and get extra fried rice instead. Our chef was entertaining and server was friendly and efficient.

Some chefs and waitresses are better than others, but almost always good food for sure. Place needs updating as it's definitely starting to show its age.

It took forever for our waitress to come to our table, they weren't even busy. I got a cocktail that was delicious but we also ordered a beer and it took her over 10 minutes to come back and we had to ask for the beer again and she said she forgot to tell us they are out. The calamari was delicious and crispy, clear soup and salad were also good. The hibachi steak came out first and meat and veggies were cold, the rice was the only thing warm on the plate. Yokisaba noodles came out 5-10 minutes later and it was room temperature. Our waitress was sweet and did work with us on our ticket but her manager didn't seem to care to talk to her or come to our table, they acted like they couldn't be bothered.
