Always a great place to hang out & have a beer. The owners are awesome, the staff is always great & ready to get you a drink. Never had a bad experience there

My boyfriend and I were exploring the river walk (like the basic b tourists we were), and decided, we can do better than these diabetes inducing Fat Tuesday frozes that everyone was holding... so we decided to play a game of bar roulette. Whichever exit we took off the river walk, we would check out the first bar we saw. As fate would have it, we found ourselves walking into Bond's.As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the smell of fresh popcorn and a welcoming ambiance from both the patrons and staff. The pool tables, extremely amazing daily happy hour, and chamoy shots confirmed my suspicion - this is hands down - the best place in San Antonio.

Dropped by here on a Saturday night to play pool and have a couple of drafts. Atmosphere is super chill! Music is GREAT - my friends and myself had such a fun time. Bartenders were lively and super friendly. Drinks are inexpensive!

This bar is awesome!! The owner is so welcoming and tough a pool shot as I've ever had in competition. He is grounded and humble, very friendly. The music is mostly loud and energetic and don't get me started on Halloween..... Spooky and well spirited. Go for a good time..... or don't... your loss.

I am so glad I stumbled on to this spot! Great layout. Great bartenders. Great prices! And of course, great music. Went back the next day and gained the same experience. Can't wait to go again!

After being disappointed by Zombie's bar with the cringe Karaoke. We hit this place up. Now my love in music is hardstyle and progressive trance, and gothic-industrial, BUT I like alternative rock and have always loved symphonic metal. I just hated all the screaming in metal so was never really into it and please don't kill me, but I have always thought Metallica was overrated although some of their songs are good. So I have never mostly been a fan of metal which is hypocritical because my music is basically screaming bass instead of screaming lol, but I have lately been delving into the different genres of metal. They had two screaming bands last night and fucking absolutely killed it. I apologize for not knowing their names, but they were local. The downstairs were playing cover songs. They were talented and very cute. The crowd is diverse, but definitely all rockers, metalheads, punk style, mohawks, gauges, but I didn't feel out of place because everyone was very nice and they're there for the music. We stayed a bit downstairs then we went upstairs. Oh! There is no cover downstairs, but cover for upstairs, but I want to shout out to the sweet doorman who only charged us the fee once So the upstairs was more intimate. I honestly think it was mostly more family and friends related to the band. But this band was just wow. There was lotsa screaming But this guy could sing and they had a great beat to their music so I was definitely really into it. I have had vertigo last year so I am a bit afraid to move my head too much, but I wanted to headbang so bad lol!!! And the main singer he was headbanging, flipping that gorgeous long curly hair shit I am jealous he has better hair than me lol! He was just very into it, great energy and they put on a great show. The other bar needs to take heed cuz this is what I was expecting. I highly recommend this place.

Solid A-OK plus an extra star for speedy service and friendly patrons. Was killing time waiting for Kris to open his RockerDogz Gourmet Street Dogz stand (http://www.yelp.com/biz/rockerdogz-gourmet-street-dogz-san-antonio) when he set up next to The Korova (http://www.yelp.com/biz/the-korova-san-antonio). Since The Korova did not really strike us as a place to kill time, we landed here and are glad we did. Mickey's on tap was the special and my brother and I downed a few of those before heading back out to see if Kris was ready.

Great bar with a cool laid back staff. Awesome place to see live music on the weekends with some random shows during the week.

Great rock bar downstairs and awesome live venue upstairs. Staff is friendly. Great vibe downtown.
