Boerne Grill

This place has been on Main St for quite a few years now. It's evolved several times over the years, but is consistently solid and good. On a recommendation from my buddy, JPB, I went in to try their breakfast tacos - specifically their bean and cheese with bacon. In the hotly contested battle for Boerne Breakfast Taco supremacy, these are solid contenders! The migas and cheese was hot, well-flavored, and tasty with the red salsa they provide. The bean & cheese with bacon hit the spot with tasty beans and plentiful crispy (but not overdone) bacon. Try the green salsa with it!I also had a Chai, which is a nice variation from my usual coffee drinks. The Chai was hot and had a nice enjoyable flavor - perfect just the way it's served!The staff is friendly and the ambiance is quaint, with old wooden floors and a pressed tin ceiling. You can feel Boerne's history seeping out of the walls here. Parking can be a bear here, so be prepared for that and watch out for the Main St traffic if you parallel park.

Food was delicious! Everything tasted homemade. We sampled many different items, it all just looked and then tasted great! If we lived close, this would be our weekend breakfast spot! As you can see I loved the vintage feel of their building and decor.

Best breakfast I have had in a while! I had the pancakes and bacon...just perfect. My son had the breakfast plate with eggs,breakfast potatoes, bacon and biscuit. The proof is whats left on the plate...nothing. This is a small diner and I love the mood. Happy people work here and it shows.Thanks for our breakfast

Very disappointed in my breakfast.A rather simple one too; under the "sides": biscuits and gravy+potatoes.The cream based gravy is good, not great, not bad but good. The biscuits on the other hand are almost inedible....taste like freezer burn and I loathe the texture. Almost like under baked. The potatoes are potatoes, can't really mess those up but would have liked them crispier.Plus, it is uncomfortably warm in here, with not that many patrons in the dining area. And yes I am typing it while I am here now because I am that displeased. I have only had their coffee here before and it was actually really good so I think I will just stick to their coffee from now on.

We picked up three of the bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwiches on a toasted English muffin and they were delicious. We requested a different preparaton for each of the eggs and they nailed it. The bacon was also crispy which is a must for me. I would definitely order them again.

My only complaint is no easy place to park. There is a lot next to building but you have to pay extra to park there. Had the Boerne grill omelet. Never had grilled onions/mushrooms in an omelet-game changer! English muffin was delicious. It's very quaint and reasonably priced.

Brunch was very very good! Be prepared (to wait) for time to enjoy. Coffee is excellent. Recommend many items, went with group and tasted it all!!!

The coffee is scalding hot but the biscuits, gravy, and eggs are cold. if you don't mind taking your meal to go and heating it up at home- then this is the place to come for breakfast.

Best breakfast/brunch in Boerne! This place makes me smile every time been coming here for years.
