Delightful home cooking. Very casual. breakfast all day. We both had a hearty breakfast. My husband went with a massive breakfast meal (The Home Wrecker) covered with gravy. I got the Hollering Hog (bacon, ham and sausage with cheese) omelette. The biscuits are light and tasty. HAs browns with some cruch - just the way I like them. The wait staff is attentive and friendly. This restaurant is routinely busy and the crew works together to clear tables and get the next guest settled.Bobbie's is a great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch!Also got the low down, another Bobbie's will hopefully open sometime in April 2025!!

10 stars. It was the best right at walk in. They were so attentive and our waitress was the most pleasant person. Excellent character. The dishes were clean, nothing was stained or smelly. The reviews were true. Our experience was super. Our plates were fair portions for our selection. I loved that nothing was salty !!! We seasoned the amount we wanted. The Oreo pie was the best !! It wasn't overly sweetened. It was perfect, I was really surprised. They truly home make their recipes. I asked if they used real eggs, apparently, they do !!! 100 stars for y'all. Thank you for prompt service , fantastic team and a clean environment. Enjoyed it. Big Hugs to y'all.

Do not sleep on Bobbie's!! If you haven't been there, why not?! The restaurant feels much more open and not as loud as before. There are always lots of people on the wait list, but it goes by quickly and is totally worth it. The service is outstanding. The hostess, servers, bussers - everyone was friendly and helpful. And the food!! We ordered waffles w/ strawberries and cream as an "appetizer." Delicious!! The waffles were fluffy just sweet enough. We also had the Texas omelette and the meal with biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were soft and buttery, potatoes were delicious, and the eggs were fantastic. They didn't taste watery or dry like other places. Portions were huge, so lots of leftovers. Make this next place you try if you haven't!

Been here several times and it is consistently great! The chicken fried chicken is always juicy and seasoned to perfection. The waffles are delicious and have this nice slight crunchy texture which I found pleasant. Our server was Bobbie , she was sweet, patient and hospitable. Service is always great, which is surprising considering how busy they always are. I'd recommend joining their waitlist before coming, especially on weekends. I do wish they had more locations. I don't mind the 25 min drive but I'd sure visit more frequently if they were closer to me. All around a great place.

I took the day off today to enjoy with family while my brother is visiting. I'm excited because @bobbiescafe has a new location at Embassy Oaks and is much closer to us. I also wanted my brother to experience the great food and service.Miranda was our server when we visited the south side location and she moved to the Embassy Oaks location. Dad had the Lemonade, Hubby had Arnold Palmer, and Brother and I had coffee. Dad wanted the Farmhouse Breakfast with 1 pancake, ham, hashbrown, and 2 eggs. He had sunny side up but only finished one egg and half the pancake because it was huge! I had the French Toast with Strawberries and Whipped Cream. Yum! Hubby had the large Chicken Fried Steak and shared some of it with my Brother. He had the mashed potatoes and green beans for his sides. My Brother had the 1 Biscuit and Gravy and could only finish half. If you're coming to visit, you need to come hungry as the portions are Texas-sized. Highly recommend!

Bobbie's cafe was great, I visited after I had heard about a new breakfast/ brunch place in the area. The menu has so much variety and great options for anytime of day. The service is great the workers clearly care about the restaurant and what they serve. I wasn't expecting there to be so much seating in the restaurant but there was! The food of course was delicious, super filling and generously portioned for what you pay. I can't wait to visit again!

Such a cozy ambiance. Get in the waitlist bc people don't play about this place and now I see why. I love the homey decor. Ms. Dee took good care of us. She was quick and efficient even with a busy section. On to the food...that chicken fried steak...sheesh. Please don't get the large bc it is huge! But the flavor is perfection. Waffles were super sweet but good. Don't get them if you don't like sweet. The chicken was tender and seasoned. The pancake was fluffy. Everything was perfect. I'm coming back for the chicken fried steak again!

Big parking lot and was very busy when we arrived. I was excited. Checked in and waited. When I got the text that our table was ready, I went to the host and she told me to wait over there and pointed. Girl, over where??? And she just said there and pointed, so I walked further in the hallway to the station that had an old register on it and then proceeded to be in the way of the servers. My sister didn't understand and followed a server because she thought he was seating us and he wasn't.... So then finally a lady came and we were already confused because wait over there isn't helping and there isn't a sign for a waiting spot. So we ordered and our waitress just made faces. So, yes, we asked for a few accommodations, but we are literally telling you what we want so you don't have to be wrong later. The food came out and our table was pretty small for five people. They tried to fit five in a four (it was just one table.) The food barely fit. We ordered an omelette, two large chicken fried steaks, a burger, and an extra plate. The breading on the chicken fried steak was overwhelming and the steak was the size of the burger. The chicken fried steak was over cooked so I had a hard time cutting it and fries flew off my plate and on to the floor. The omelette's vegetables were burned in the omelette, so the taste wasn't good. I am so confused on why people like this place and why it was so busy. Maybe I got the wrong thing, maybe it was an off day, but I am not running back to this place. I am also disappointed with everyone who raves about this place because that was not the case for me and my family.

I was here before and I still think this food is excellent. The place was very busy. Is clean. Super generous serving. Waiter kept up with the attention to the table. Overall excellent service,food.

I will not forget my first visit here. The food was absolutely amazing. The staff were friendly and the owner made it a point to stop and visit our table. The biscuits and gravy, the omelet and pancake.....I could go on and on. This is by far the best breakfast place in San Antonio.
