Blue Star Brewing

Blue Star Brewing is a must-visit! Their beer flights let you pick four brews, and the selection is fantastic. Definitely try the TEXICAN, and don't miss the CLOSE ENCOUNTER--it's not on the menu so ask the bar tender about it! The Reuben Sandwich: tender corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and Reuben sauce perfectly layered on rye bread. Great vibes, great brews, and amazing food. Highly recommend!

Who doesn't love a good mix of retail therapy with taste of local beer?Blue Star Brewing opened a beer bar at North Star Mall and I think this was the best idea the mall has had in years. Blue Star Brewing main location is originally in Southtown/Blue Star area and they serve both beer and food. This new location serves mainly beer and a few other alcoholic beverages like wine and frozen margaritas. The girl working the bar was super nice and very helpful. She mentioned she was nice and still learning all the beers, but you wouldn't be able to tell since she was so knowledgeable. Also, if you buy a beer from Blue Star Brewing please note that you can walk around the mall with your drink and don't have to stay near their bar. Highly recommend checking out this amazing local brewery whenever you go to North Star Mall!

Before getting to this restaurant, we checked out the menu online. We were very excited with the variety of menu items. When we arrived, there were only a few tables filled so we were sat pretty quick. The decor is ok. My husband ordered a brisket sandwich and I ordered a chicken club grilled cheese. The fries were excellent. The sourdough bread was grilled and buttered well. The brisket was ok, nothing special. Unfortunately our witness entered my order wrong, so I didn't have a chance to photograph or eat. I had to get it to go.

Can you say, ADULT DROP OFF SPOT. LOL. I went with my wife, and our other couple friend. Javier doesn't like shopping, Juanita does. So they invited us, but I wanted to drink a beer. So they suggested NORTHSTAR Mall. I was kinda happy to go, since I have been there in years. Plus my wife has never been there. Well. We ended up at Blue star brewing Kiosk. Too cool, the kiosk had beer, wine, margaritas. So you can get other things than beer. Best part about ordering beer at the kiosk, you don't have to just drink it there, you can walk around. And it's air conditioned in there. The service was great, bartender was very friendly, and he would play some music for you. Javier and I both started with a stout. It has a great flavor, loved looking at it roll in the glass, like a Guinness. I also had a King Violet, it is two beers mixed. Very delicious, but I could only handle no more than two. Very delicious.

In the mall. Hard to find but worth it if you do. The server was uber chill and helpful. Glad I got to sample their brews.

Always fun to stop and try a flight of beers. They were delicious! We decided to get a bite to share & split a grilled cheese sandwich and cup of tomato basil soup. The soup was delicious, the sandwich full of melted American cheese. My husband commented it was the first grilled sandwich he ever had that wasn't grilled! It was toasted fresh bread, I loved it. The place wasn't packed but the waitstaff was MIA or the rating would be higher.

We went on a Saturday night, first time going. No line and we sat outside and there was Covid spaced tables. We tasted the many draft beers available, hard to pick just 1! I ordered the Mahi- Mahi fish tacos and they were fantastic! The sauce that goes over the taco was excellent. Fish was freshly grilled. Prices were fair and service was good.

This place is fun until they turn off the music and put on a game. When the music is on, people socialize; when the game is on, phones come out and people leave.

Best place to get plastered while the miss is bankrupting me with my credit card. The nurse was helpful with my drug selection. I'll come back to this ER again.

I went to the area to visit the Contemporary and walk the Mission Trail for the first time, made it to Confluence Park and back and needed some sustenance . Ordering drinks was easy and giving my card for an open tab was easy, but after the first drink and a refill I was pretty much ignored by the single bartender on a Friday evening! Wanted to order food, but could never really catch her eye to do so, so I paid for. My two drinks and split! Not a great first experience!
