Came here on a Sunday for a Fundraiser to support our local HS JROTC. The food was great a service was fantastic I do not recall the name of the young lady that served us but she was on point.It was very busy for the breakfast/lunch time frame but the wait is what you would expect 45-50 min. The disappointment was there was a piece of hair in my son's biscuit and the waitress apologized and took the plate away. The pancakes were huge so next time I might try that.

This is a new restaurant that is still very clean. We were seated immediately, and the service was prompt. The music was oddly loud at times, but it varied with certain songs. The food was excellent, and the portions were generous; I would definitely eat here again.I ordered the Denver omelet and chose extra hash browns instead of toast or pancakes. The omelet met my expectations, and the hash browns were delicious.I enjoy observing the dynamics of restaurants, and my long-term concern for this place is that the quality may decline as it becomes less new and the employees become complacent. I've noticed similar trends at other local restaurants that have great potential but struggle with overwhelming numbers and lack of strong management.I hope I'm wrong, as I truly enjoyed my breakfast.

Ate here on a Friday around 11 am, we were a parry of 5 and had a 20 min wait, which was reasonable. It's our second time dining here and we enjoy the portions. My son enjoyed the pancake; and I enjoyed the steak and eggs; the tuna sandwich was good, but wished the celery was cut into smaller pieces. Food came in at a timely manner and our server was prompt too!

Cute camping/cabin feel inside. Dinner portions are huge! However, they so have smaller versions of most plates as well which is nice. I'd recommend getting the smaller plate so you have room for dessert! Get the blackberry cobbler a la mode, yummy. It comes in a little personal size pie pan which is really enough for two to share. Chicken fried steak was crispy and Mac n cheese was creamy! Service was mostly good, there were a few times our waiter went MIA but it was busy. Will be back soon. Wish they had a closer location to the west side of SA

DoorDash order -Food is very filling and basic. Our first time trying it and would probably try it dining in.The waffle was heavily dense and chewy.Scrambled eggs were bland.Bacon had gotten soggy by the time it got to us but that was expected.The gravy had the most flavor of everything.Hashbrowns were mushy and burnt at the same time.The NY strip and eggs were just fine, I ordered medium, it turned out medium well and tough.Country potatoes needs some help.

Came with family to finally try out Black Bear, we got here early and there was already a line. After checking in with the hostess we had about a 30 min wait, not too bad. If the name of the place doesn't give it away, this diner is log cabin/outdoors themed with plenty of black bears around. After reading over their newspaper styled menu, I ordered the egg and corned beef hash combo with a side pancake. When the food came it was plentiful and served on big plates. My eggs were perfectly scrambled, the hash browns were nice and crispy, but my corned beef hash and potatoes were a bit dry/overcooked. The side pancake was a golden brown and delicious after adding some butter and syrup. Overall, this was a good first-time experience, and I look forward to coming back and trying the rest of the menu.

This location off 151 provided fabulous customer service. Their menu offered many different options for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They even had desserts! We decided to split our plates so we could at least try their chicken friend steak and breakfast. Both super good! Large dining room and very clean setting.
