Birria Barrio Y Mas

Chile! Im already missing this place. The best birria tacos ever. I had them almost every day when I was in San Antonio. I'm spoiled. Delicious Delicious tacos. The consome... you could like eat it like soup. The service is amazing. My favorite is the one with chicharon... pork cracklings. I had nothing like it. Now I'm back on the east coast ... and sad. I asked my fam to overnight me some. When I'm back I'll try other menu items but yeah.. this place doesn't skimp on portions either. I'll be back!

I stopped by Birria Barrio y Mas, and unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype for me. The food was mediocre, and while their birria was good, it wasn't anything special.I've tried better birria at other places, and I just didn't understand the fuss about this spot. Don't get me wrong, it's decent, but it's not worthy of the hype, in my opinion.To make matters worse, their aguas frescas were watered down and I had to return mine.Maybe I just caught them on a bad day, but for now, I'd say there are better birria options out there.

The service was awesome. They were fast and accurate with our order. The Birria tacos were to die for. They were filled with plenty of meat. The tacos had the best flavor ever. Make sure to try their beans in a cup. You won't be disappointed. This place is a must try San Antonio. Its outdoor seating takes you back to the good old days.

Food was amazing! Staff was friendly and quick to serve the food. You cannot go wrong with the portions and prices. 2$ margs are bomb. Definitely recommend.

This is the Southside spot for quality tacos and flavor. The quesobirria tacos are flavorful and full of meat and the consomé is perfect consistency (not too thick and not too thin). Even tried the carne asada tacos and they were delicious too. My favorite are still the Birria, but you can't go wrong here. The ambiance is chill and they have music playing and tables to sit and eat while your food is hot and fresh.

Stopped around 11 pm after a HS football game and the Birria was so good. Sat outside and enjoyed the late night cars driving by and those coming out to eat. Definitely worth a drive if your on this side of town.

Everything was delicious!! Service was fast & everyone was nice. def coming back asap to try more stuff! They also have $2 margaritas made with real liquor! & $2 beers I believe. Try them out! You won't be disappointed.

I am So Full! Ordered the 3 tacos and charro beans And the Birria mac n cheese. Shared the 3 taco plate- and I was so full with 2 tacos. Food is super fresh.Employee was super nice. We will be back!Took the mac n cheese home for dinner tomorrow!

Puro San Antonio! This place is the BEST. Fantastic food. Fun atmosphere. LIVELY! The late night scene is a VIBE. One of my fav San Antonio spots!

Good service and even better food. Staff is friendly and the portions are great. I would recommend this to anyone visiting SA.
