Big'z Burger Joint

Big'z burgers are still the same great burgers they always were! Spacious and clean establishment, great for larger parties, kids, and events. You just walk past the iced beer tubs straight to the counter. Make your selection from the various choices on the wall menu, place your order with the friendly cashier, and dream of the yum to come when your name is called!There are things that have changed, and I wish they hadn't. They used to have ketchup, mustard, and mayo pumps along with the fresh onion tubs. Now you have to ask for mayo which comes in the form of a packet. Ketchup and mustard are available in bottles at the table. Worse yet, the ketchup is Hunts. If you're serving quality burgers, please serve quality ketchup like Heinz. The fry dipping sauces were another standout feature of this restaurant that turned a burger experience into something a little more special. Nothing tastes like it should anymore. Truffle mayo? Hardly. Horseradish mayo? Definitely mayo. Couldn't detect the tiniest bit of horseradish. Cucumber dill? Can't taste either one, but you can taste the mayo. I can't imagine how much of these sauces go to waste simply because they lack the distinctive flavors of their descriptions. In summary- delicious burgers. Everything else is mid. I miss the old Big'z.

I got the classic burger with fried egg and mushrooms added! The portions are very generous. For the burger, fries, and a drink, it was around $15. They have lots of beers and ciders on tap! I tried the mango cider and the blood orange cider. Both tasted very refreshing. The service was fast and friendly.

Big'z put giant and delicious burgers right in your face. They don't hold your hand in having specific types of burgers. You have to take ownership and create your own. Virtually every topping and homemade sauce is available and their fries are amazing. Plenty of space on the inside and lots of covered seating outside. Go further into the property on weekends and they have a whole stage for entertainment for the family. Establishment was clean and prices were fair for the giant portions. Staff were friendly and very helpful with the sauce options to complement my burger.

Bigz has some of the best burgers in town. Don't know why it isn't much more crowded. I guess people just haven't tried it yet. The burgers are nice and big with a choice of cheeses. The tomatoes on the burgers taste homegrown. Nice big basket of onion rings. They also have a large variety of beers. Lovely setting. You order at the counter and seat yourself. Self serve drinks. There's lots of room for big groups. Overall great experience.

The burgers , rare like I like it,fries perfect , service right on , very friendly, really like the atmosphere , very welcoming to everyone.i would recommend it to everyone who wants a great burger.

Great place to get together. On this visit we were farewell-ing a family leaving San Antonio. Big'z on Blanco has plenty of space fo kids to play, folks to eat, and parents to chill.The burgers are huge, the double cheeseburger I ordered was cooked to perfection, but was just too big. I'd recommend just getting two separate cheeseburgers at that rate. The burgers come with fixins on the side.I also ordered some sweet potato fries on the side, and hit those up first. They were great.We arrive there at 5 p.m. on a Saturday and was suprised that the place was not full, but with the early summer Texas sun out, I could understand. Inside seating was available, but there's plenty of seating in the shade out back too. It got busy fast the later it got.I love their burgers.

This was my first time. You never forget your first time. My family was holding a graduation celebration. They rented out the party building. All I have to say is that it was a great time. I wish the place had more of a beer and booze selection, but just like most Burger joints, all they have is a few select choices. Still got the job done. The Party building has an indoor section with a patio under cover. The indoor section has a good size bar, but it looked like it doesn't get used very often, and it's used for storage. The women's bathroom was out of order so the whole party used the Men's bathroom. It is a one person bathroom, so it was fine. The best part of all of it was the food. It was a simple spread of salad, burgers, and fries. No special orders, which was more than good for me. The burgers were so good I had to take one home with me. It was still really good after I warmed it up for 30 seconds in the microwave. I have been wanting to eat here for a long time, and it was worth the wait. I can't wait to go back.

Great food, wonderful patio/meeting & play/green space for get togethers & fabulous staff!!! Party Room available & only 25% of what you'd get charged at Chicken & Pickle!!! Wow!!! Don't miss out on this great space at Hwy 151 near NW Loop 410. Huge area to hold any event or to just relax on any day! Check it out!!!

Just had bigz again tonight. Got the same as usual burger with beer braids onions. Got some delicious onion rings on the side that are fried when you arrive. They're homemade is the best I've ever had in my entire life. Every bite is like taking a bite out of heaven. I absolutely love them every time.

Went there with 9 other people to celebrate a friend's 58th birthday. Thought it was an unusual choice but after biting into my bacon burger, changed my mind immediately. One of the best burgers in s long time. Place is clean and service great and quick. Would recommend for a burger night or day!!!Went I was just thin
