Big Smash Burgers

Stopped by here since it's in the HEB parking lot. The service was slow, but burgers are made to order.-The meat wasn't well seasoned -The bun was soft and excellent -The special sauce ruined the burger taste, it was kind of sweet and didn't go well. I highly recommend not including it-Barely any lettuce-Ordered with onion, no onion came on burger-Price is outrageous for quality ($12 for a burger lol)Make these changes and folks will love it:-Discover a unique seasoning for meat-Add the correct ratio of lettuce -Make orders accurate-Lower price to market average

If you like burgers, this place is a must go to spot! It reminds me of burgers that my grandmother used to make! The meat is juicy, cheese is cheesy, and the bun greatly adds to the overall flavor. I tasted something sweet, in contrast to the cheese, and it complimented the burger perfectly. You can order ahead or order once you arrive there, using their posted QR Code. This this is a semi-new spot on 3009 in the H.E.B. parking lot. You can't miss it! They have a couple of tables set up with umbrellas that provide shade. It's hot outside, and you can wait in your vehicle for a text message to let you know your order is ready.They've got something really special here, so treat yourself and go see brotha Jesse and his uncle Craig for the best Smash Burgers in San Antonio!

So we'd been hearing good things about this food truck and decided to give them a shot to see how the food is.We each order a classic burger with two patties (that's the smallest they have ). They come with cheese,caramelized onions and pickles. We also ordered one of the ranch and crispy chicken waffle fries.I'll start with the fries - while they are $12 it's a big order. It was simply amazing! We're not big waffle fry people but these were great! The fries themselves were prepared perfectly. The crispy chicken was in small pieces that were appropriately sized so they didn't overwhelm the fries. The fries were sprinkled with ranch dressing seasoning and ranch dressing. I'd go back just for them!Now for the burgers - the bun - not sure what kind of bun bit it was great! The burgers had good flavor; the caramelized onions had a sweet flavor to them - everything was 'smashed' together and it was great! Neither of us could finish our burgers (the fries were really filling) so we took them home to finish later.So - this place definitely lived up to the 'hype' we've been hearing. Oh - it's in the H-E-B parking lot right next to FM 3009 (if you can't find it). We will definitely be back. The Jalapeño Mac and cheese (we tried just that a few days ago) was also really is amazing as well.We will most definitely be back! Possibly the best burger I've had, which is saying a LOT!

I discovered this gem at the HeB parking lot on 3009. They have a variety of burgers, fresh meat. I had the one with blue cheese, it was delicious, flavored on a brioche bread. This is a food truck service was fast and courteous.

Dayum Schertz!! Finally, finally something different for our area. Big Smash Burgers "The Burger People" these were the best flipping smash burgers that we've had in all of San Antonio!! We ordered the Spicy Blue with two patties along with chili cheese waffle fries, and the Mac daddy with two patties and waffle fries. They can go up to 5 patties per smash burger The buns, the juicy meat, the toppings, like wow, wow, wow!!! Even the seasoning on the waffle fries was out of this world. This place is deliciously dangerous. Updated review! We JUST had to go back and try different burgers this time. They flipping knocked it out of the park again!! Man sometimes it's tricky when a new place opens to get a consistent product but they do! Today we ordered the Butter my Buns with two Pattie's with double peanut butter sauce and jam. I specifically wanted to get this particular burger due to the mixed reviews on it. So I'm here to say as soon as I took my first bite I was like dude....DUDE, they did it again. The flavor is just spot, the peanut butter sauce is subtle but it's there and that jam mixed in with the bacon *gasp* amazing! Perfectly cooked like PERFECTLY cooked Pattie's and bun again I got their waffle fries and Lawd have mercy amazing! Husband got their classic smash with 2 Pattie's, caramelized onions and pickles. Again a perfectly cooked to perfection burger, husband said dayum that's good while we stuffed our faces. Again like I mentioned previously, best burgers in San Antonio. Hubby also got the loaded chili cheese waffle fries again and they most certainly didn't disappoint. This food truck is slammed man, just a line waiting but nice thing is they text you when your order is ready so you may sit in your car and wait. That's a really nice addition since it's hot AF outside. If you haven't given them a try yet, what are you waiting be for!

Oh yum!! Horrible photo I took of an awesome burger. Will def go back! This is the Classic I think, without pickles. So good.

Let me ask you a question. Would you want to get a beat up jalopy immediately or wait until your dream car gets into the lot in a few weeks? For me, the wait is worth something delectable. The burgers and fries were absolutely phenomenal. I would have taken pictures, but I destroyed my meal too quick. Extremely indulgent and delicious, so may not be an all the time kind of thing, but amazing if you are in the mood for a big smash burger. The experience could use some work, the wait was pretty long and they have a strange system of ordering online only. They really want you to do that, but the wait was so worth the food.

Mediocre smash burger that's overpriced. Fries aren't great either. Wouldn't recommend, won't be back.

This place sucks! I ordered waffle fries..for $4!These are not waffle fries. They are also undercooked and taste sweet like sugar not salt. Or is that the undercooked I'm tasting?? No way to request any condiments either. I got this on my way home because I didn't want to fight traffic in a bit and they still do not have a phone number or message option so I could request a refund and complain. So I'm having to do it here. My phone number was also on the order info so they could have called to make sure I was fine with something else than what was ordered. Also they were out of two menu item. Mac n cheese and their Mac n cheese burger..and waffle fries!
