Love how casual it is here plus they have a great beer selection. Can easily accommodate small or large gatherings. Never overly crowded. They have some board games you can play as well.

We ended up here after stopping by another local brewery only to discover they barely had any beers on tap - this was nearby to decided to pop in! It was great move!It reminded me of my two favorite beer spots which are on the opposite sides of the country - great vibe, casual cool decor and a great crowd of beer lovers!They have an extensive tap list and some great finds - enjoyed some Other Half IPAs and they allow patrons to try beers before they commit which you don't see much anymore!Service was fantastic all evening and glad we stopped by - will definitely be back!

Tasty beers, good tunes. $1.00 full pours 3:00pm-5:00pm.. great atmosphere, good discussions, clean. Nice selection of n/a beers.

Came here with my son and daughter-in-law and had a great time! Great selection of beers with something for everyone! Love the atmosphere, and the food truck that was there the night we went (Crispy) was top-notch! Plenty of seating, both inside and out and friendly staff. They have trivia, Super Smash Bros tournaments and karaoke nights, too! I think we've found our new hangout!

Relaxed, and friendly with a great selection of domestic, foreign, and craft beers. The service is friendly, efficient, and attentive.

I'm a big fan of big hops. They have a great selection of beer and good price points. They will have a couple specials to empty the tap. The bartenders are always great. The bathroom is cute and clean. There's pool tables and a food truck out back. I don't recommend the pizza machine inside though.

Plenty of choices on tap and the bartender was extremely helpful in choosing a beer. Prices were reasonable and the size of the facility was more than adequate. The pool table in the back was a nice touch. I'd say this is an easy place to stop and have a conversation with friends. No frills but they aren't needed here. They have a busted pizza machine so that takes it down a star. No real food options beyond nuts and popcorn but they do allow you to bring food in.

In one of the most heart breaking reviews that I have had to make, a once stellar 5/5 establishment underwent a drastic transformation, attributed solely to the owner's demeanor. A client and I, hailing from overseas, sought to explore the essence of American craft beer and chose Big Hops with high expectations. Regrettably, the place was a mere shadow of the vibrant spot I revered 10 months ago. Our attempt to indulge in the uniquely American Pizza Machine in the was thwarted when the pizza failed to materialize. Playfully suggesting a beer instead at of the Pizza at closing, we were unexpectedly met with disdain from the owner, declaring our business unwelcome and we should never return to his establishment. Bewildered and confused, I inquired about the aggressive stance on what was obviously a joke, especially after being a patron for the last decade, only to hear, "I am at an age where I don't have to put up with any of that stuff." Despite clarifying our lighthearted intent, he adamantly refused tolerance. After telling him that it was obviously a joke with the bartender who I have known almost a year an attempt to reconcile, the owner eventually admitted he did not read the situation incorrectly. But unfortunately the owner's unyielding stance embarrassed my client from Vietnam, prompting our departure. It's disheartening to witness a flagship location, once a regular haunt, succumb to mismanagement, shedding light on the closures of other branches. All this turmoil over a below-average pizza, and leadership.

Good beer selection and the bar staff is always friendly. Music is often good too. TVs for games as well.

This was the 2nd Big Hops I've been to and while it's larger than the first there's something kind of lost when the space is 4X bigger. Sure, there's plenty of activities: (pool, video games) but there's something missing when there are that many more tables and more bar space.Had I visited this location first I think I would rate it higher, but the Huebner location had a more cozy, local watering hole type vibe. I liked the depth of beer on taps but it doesn't substitute having everyone in the place singing 'Happy Birthday' to the bartender; still a great, fun place but a little more distant and that makes a big difference when you're sipping beer in a new city.
