Bésame

I've been to Besame quite a few times. It use to be one of my go-to bars, until their cocktail menu became boring. With that said, It's been a while since I last visited. I thought to give them a visit yesterday to see if anything changed and whoop whoop...new cocktail menu ladies and gents! I never thought I'd see the day. I tried two of their new cocktails: the Oro Cima and Tia Mia. Out of the two, the Oro Cima was my favorite. No shade to Tia Mia though..she was good too!A few things to note: they have indoor and outdoor seating, an indoor and outdoor bar, great selection of food trucks, and parking can be a little tricky depending on what time you visit (street parking & small makeshift parking area).I'm glad I chose to visit again and will for sure be returning to try out the other cocktails.

Came here to grab drinks with my friend for happy hour. Staff was pretty cool and made some pretty good drinks too. We hung out outside and enjoyed the vibe. Food trucks were on location but we didn't try. Would definitely return to grab drinks in the future!

Besame is a great place to try different food trucks and have some drinks. I've visited twice. The first time, my dining partner and I shared a loaded baked potato from Hot Box and loaded fries from Pete's Hot Chicken. I love barbecue but I don't have to go back to Hot Box. Pete's loaded fries (they may be called something else) were really good. The second time I visited, I had chicken strips and fries from Pete's. The fries were really good but, my dining partner and I were disappointed that the chicken had heat but no flavor. I also found the comeback sauce to be pretty bland.Besame itself is a must go. There are a few different food trucks to try so I'll try another on my next visit.

Cool spot for some fun drinks and food. The bar inside has a cool vibe and the bartender was amazing with the service and the drinks. Plenty of food options, quality was a little hit and miss and some of the trucks are priced a little high but they will have an option for everyone and I'm looking forward to trying it all but the real winner were the mixed drinks at the bar! Parking was a little difficult, the plenty of outdoor seating and shade.

Fun, funky vibe with great options at various tricks. Ngl, it was a bit more pricey than I anticipated, but they don't skimp on portions and the flavor was on point.

This is such a cute relaxed bar on the outside w/ a nice bar inside! Drinks were good! Forgot to get picks! We had a great time.

For dinner last night, we went to @besame210 for the first time. We were craving the lobster flights of @massholelobstertruck. For a very warm evening, there was quite a crowd out enjoying food and drinks. It was too hot to be outside even with the covered areas. Thankfully, we found 3 seats at the inside bar. We had our Lobster Flights, Watermelon agua frescas from @tejasbirria, and headed indoors. Jackie took care of our cocktails and gave us great recommendations. I had the Tropic of Cancer, and my husband had the Zodiac Punch. It was an enjoyable time!

Let's Smash Burgers: I found this place on tik tok, it's very aesthetically pleasing but would not recommend going. The service was fine but the food for the price was just not it. I did like the outdoor area that Bésame had, it's nicely shaded with a lot of seating areas.Here's what we got-Brisket Bomb Burger: This was a 2/5, the brisket was way over cooked and almost crunchy. The queso on it was okay just a very average burger. For $25 I expected this to be more way more flavorful. Jalapeño Goat Burger: Also a 2/5 for starters the burger was so tiny! The goat cheese was really good but the burger patty and everything else on it was so unflavored. This really should have been no more than $10 for the size of the burger, we paid $19 for this. Parm Truffle Fires: If I could give these a zero I would. This "side" was a huge waste of money. For starters the fries came out in a TINY tray, these were just plain fries with a tiny bit of pepper on them not good at all. Do not order these!! Oh yeah these were $15, yeah FIFTEEN.

Very casual friendly place. Food trucks but we missed them as they closed at 11. The birria truck looks amazing so have to come back!
