Bennys Tacos

Recently stopped by this location. The service was great and the wait wasn't long at all. We have a pretty large party and ordered a lot of tacos. Some were decent but particularly the chorizo and potatoes lacked the chorizo. We mentioned it to the server and stated that is the standard for their tacos. I understand there is a serving size but there was no chorizo in 6 of our tacos. Please be more fair. The location is cute at least so you can give it a try for better luck.

One of our top 3 taco stops in the live oak universal area. I like that the eggs are cooked just right. My least favorite kind of tacos have dry eggs and that's not something you need to worry about here. We enjoy the green salsa over the red."I'm from San Antonio of course I know what taco it is just by feeling the foil."

Came here for the first time around lunch and I'm glad I did. I pass by this place all the time and figured I'd give it a try. I was craving a good bean and cheese taco, Bennys SLAPS!! So good! The tortilla is so delicious, bang for your buck. I also got the cheese enchiladas with two tamales. So much food for under $11?!? My fiancé got the burrito and he devoured all of it. We will definitely be coming back, food is really good. Tables could have been cleaner but staff was welcoming and friendly and the food came out rather fast. 5 stars from me. We'll be back

Pretty good breakfast tacos. Fresh and hot even around lunch time. Friendly quick drive through service. Haven't been inside yet. Seems like a typical taco house in there.

Bad service over priced tacos and not even that good to cost that much I went there because they're opened early On my way to work but I truly regret it.

Food delicious . Service quick w/smile. I did a drive-thru so not sure about ambiance. Location convenient.

I'll give them 2 stars but only because of the food. I placed a rather large order for a school as I've done before, but this time, was NOT given the courtesy of a tax exempt purchase, nor my military discount. The new manager, whoever she is, can use some training. Will not be returning and cannot recommend this location.

I ordered 3 bacon egg mix plates and a ham/egg plate w/ pork cop. I got home and this plate literally has minimal bacon. The pork chop was cut up about 1/4 cup of meat. Have some pride in what you serve and do not cheat the customer.

Great food, but terrible customer service. It's stated online that they close 3pm. I went to their establishment around 2:25pm & the OPEN light was still on, but they locked the doors as I walked up. They also hung the phone up in my face. Wouldn't recommend.

I always go to Bennys. Personally I love their food especially the breakfast tacos, but my problem is with their drive through person (the same girl that always gives me problems) To reiterate I always ask for extra red salsa but the same girl at the window never puts it in there or she'd only give me green, one time she even told me they ran out and I went inside the restaurant and they told me that they did have salsa. I finally spoke to the manager about this issue and she said she'd talk to her . I think the girl at the window knew it was me because I go there all the time asking for the same thing . But the issue was fixed now she gives me my extra red salsa . But the last time I went she charged me for it? But then sometimes I go inside and eat my meal they give you a whole bottle of it and put it on your table with NO CHARGE. At this point it's just funny I don't mind getting charged a couple extra dollars but at this point the girl at the window is being petty .
