Beijing Express Restaurant

This restaurant is just off the main road and has plenty of parking. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Now to the food. I had the sesame chicken. It was ok. There's nothing to rave about it. It was not memorable. The food came out so quickly that I'm sure all they did was reheated. They may not even have done that. It may be kept in a warmer, ready to dish out and serve. Unfortunately, this caused the food to lose some of its flavor, which was overcome by the copious amounts of sauce on top of the chicken.

We pass this Chinese restaurant to and from home in San Antonio. About a month ago, my wife wanted to try their food. We ordered vegetable egg foo yung and ordered Lo Mein. We took it home with no expectations and it turned out to be a delicious foo yung and Lo Mein. Tuesday this week, we wanted to get their vegetable foo yung and ordered by phone for pickup. Unfortunately, this time, their vegetable egg foo yung was terrible! It was all broccoli, big and small florets! What happened to the bean sprouts, cabbage and onions? Needless to say, we pretty much put the food in the trash. My wife vowed never to order from there again. Lesson learned - be careful what you order from there. Sometimes you might have good order and sometimes you might not. It's a crapshoot. I might go back again mainly because I would like them to succeed. We will see. There are plenty of others to try around the neighborhood.

I think I should have just got home, ordered from a place that I was more comfortable and familiar with. I didn't realize the hangry me would have the 25-minute wait in the Drive-Thru. That was definitely not worth the result at the end of the yellow brick road...I live less than 3 minutes away, my food wasn't even warm. So it must have been sitting while I was waiting in the Drive-Thru. The texture of the breading was mushy. And the fried rice lacked a lot of flavor.The only upside with I think the portion was right on for the price and it deceivingly looked appetizing. Some takeout and delivery places pack half the tray with nothing but unwanted vegetables. This one only had those for individual pieces of broccoli in the corners.I definitely won't be coming back here.

Food prices and speed of service are amazing I love how quickly they serve you and how much food you get. You will not be disappointed.

We came across from an hour wait at the bowling alley and wanted a quick bite. We were not expecting these gigantic portion sizes. I got the teriyaki chicken and my boyfriend got the orange chicken. We were both impressed with our plates! Thank you!

I give it no stars. I ordered moo goo gai pan which had almost no chicken in it, but the chicken it did have was spoiled!!!! The fried rice had no taste. PLEASE never go there!!!!!!

I come for their Vietnamese Summer Rills whenever I'm on this side of town. Tried their Kung Pao Shrimp for lunch & it's great. I'll ask for it to be a bit spicer next time. But, this place is really good. Loyal customer!

Most rude staff ever. The woman at the drive thru window was extremely disrespectful when I asked to change my order. I asked to speak to the manager and she said she was the owner and pointed to the sign that said "we reserve the right to refuse service..." and shut the window on me. Very disappointed - I suggest to not go here.

Our little family loves this restaurant. It's a nice cozy location, and the food is absolutely delicious. We have never been disappointed with any of our orders. They serve big portions, food is always nice and hot (temp, not spicy), and if you dine in, they have free all you can eat soup. When we went, they had egg drop, and hot and sour, along with crispy chips. The flavor in their dishes is making this our go to place, so quickly we're becoming regulars here. I definitely recommend this restaurant, especially if you like a relaxed comfy setting.
