1st time in and it was pleasant. Ana was very friendly and smiled as she welcomed me in. This place has been here awhile so don't expect fancy shiny leather booths. Menu has a ton of options which made it hard to choose. I went with the chile relleno with beef. It was big, hot and full of flavor. Came with beans rice salad and 2 flour tortillas. I was quite surprised on how fast it came out since it was during lunch rush. You can hear the folks in the back communicating and pushing the food out very quickly. Flour tortillas are handmade and you can taste the difference immediately. Chips are made in house salsa is fresh with a nice little kick. Portions are very filling at a good value. Overall very happy with my life and choice of menu items. I need to come back for breakfast as they have daily specials.

If I could rate this place a negative 5 stars I would . I walked in with my mother for a quick breakfast and sat at the table for about 6 minutes no menu or welcoming hello goodmorning or anything .. the atmosphere is definitely strange and the "restaurant" is smelly like a old moldy smell smh . Wouldn't come back ever again , the customer service is horrible and the lady cleaning tables have ugly looks AGAIN in the matter of 6 minutes it was just a horrible experience thumbs down tragic!!!!!

Have heard about this place and have seen it for years having lived in the area most my life. Finally got to visit today. Wasn't sure walking in. Is this a thrift store or a Mexican restaurant?? Although kinda cool I could get some jewelry or kids toys or a glass rose and a taco but it was all thrown about. I felt like I was eating in a Ross or tj max in the afternoon of Black Friday. Just clutter everywhere. Maybe the food will make up for the anxiety I have. It didn't help. Tacos are small. Although they are cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. Honestly it's the clutter of stuff that really gave the unsettling mood I couldn't shake. Just my opinion of course. Go try and make up your own opinion. Thanks y'all.

My first time coming here (January 1,2022 ) as I ordered my Menudo ., I waited then I got my order I drove home ( 20 minute drive ) and I get home the menudo is FULL OF GREASE ., very little menudo in the cup bowl ., I called and spoke to someone named Gracie wanted me to drive back ( are you kidding me gas is not cheap !!I did say why are you making your restaurant my problem !! I even took pictures and I reached out to my bank institution to dispute the transaction!! Horrible customer service!! Why give the customer so much menudo grease !!I am sure the person who was pouring the menudo knew what they were doing and plus the restaurant did NOT have a lot of people so they were not rushing to fill orders ( the person preparing the takeout order should've realized and looked at what they were doing instead of making the customer feel unhappy with there food !!!

My breakfast tacos tasted like dust. It's pretty hard to ruin a bean and cheese but these guys did. Won't return.

Just good TexMex. Breakfast tacos and have huevos rancheros are my favs. Wait staff has been there for some time and are quick w your orders.

Solid breakfast tacos. Rich flavors all around and the salsa has a nice kick. The prices are very reasonable too. We will be back!

I at first felt a little out of place. This is a Mexican food restaurant. I am white. The lady was so nice. She did a real good job of explaining everything to me. The food was delicious. Two pork chops, rice, beans and tortillas.

stepped in there since it was near a job we were doing in castle hills hoping that the food would match the exterior, the exterior gives the impression that the food would be a lot more authentic than what it was.There were 4 of us so I consider this 4 opportunities to make it right, well 1 out of 4 was the result. The 4 orders were carne asada mini tacos, fajita quesadillas, enchilada dinner plate with a side of fajita and 1 bees special platter.The mini tacos were served and the tortillas were nothing special, literally looked like they came out of a bag, thick and dry as well, the meat came in small chunks which is fine but also dry and the flavor tasted as if they just sprinkled on instead of cooked into and the veggies had been sitting in a fridge for a bit.The fajita quesadillas were a good size, the flour tortilla was a good size and tasted fresh as well as the meat that came in it.The enchilada dinner left a lot to be desired, we added the fajita on the side since they cant or don't make a special order of fajita enchiladas so no worries but again the meat was sprinkled with the seasoning instead of having it cooked into it and the red gravy was something store bought mixed in with something else also store bought.The bees platter took the same path as the previous plate so im not getting into that but it did not hit right.The beans were actually good but the rice tasted like something you might find at taco bell or equivalent. The service was decent but the drinks are not made with filtered water so if you're a beverage snob like a few of us are you would want to order a canned beverage as we did.

Come out for the first time today with my daughter, we enter the Reaturant and greeted by the staff. We did not have to wait long for our server to come and take our order, I asked for the best item on the menu and was told everting was good by the favorite is the #32. So of course I had to order it. I was not given bad info the beef was seasoned to protection, beans reminded me of my grandmothers and I do not believe that you will find a fresher tortilla in San Antonio. What a great first visit of many to come.The owner stoped by the table to ensure all of the food and service was up to our expectation.You don't see this too often.
