Walk up counter with menus over head. Elliott greeted us with a smile and answered all menu questions with ease and enthusiasm. Decor was simple and casual, country style, tvs throughout the restaurant, comfortable seating. We both ordered atomic burgers, onion rings and an appetizer to share, fried pickles. Fried pickles, a bit too salty, did like the crunch and that they were sliced thinly though. The onion rings were delicious, hot, crispy and crunchy. The atomic burger was fantastic! Burger cooked to perfection, jalapeños, melty cheese and all the traditional burger trimmings...soooo delicious! You must come here and try for yourself!

I live fairly close and finally stopped in a pinch to get a quick bite. The person taking the order was useless. Told him It was my first visit for maybe suggestions. Crickets. I ordered a burger and didn't have a clue you had to ask for the regular add ons (lettuce and tomato etc)The prices are right there with the national burger chains. $10-$15 for a burger. Had the mushrooms for an appetizer and they tasted just ok. Wouldn't order again. My burger was just ok. Nothing to make me want to stop again.

Beefy's has been here for a while. I have been here twice in the 10 years I've lived here despite it being only a few minutes from my house. Mostly because the first time I don't remember being too impressed. And this time really didn't change my mind. The ambiance is rustic burger joint. Concrete floors, aged wood walls with sparse decorations and a few pics of I'm assuming the owner with some celebrities. Order at the counter off an overhead menu. I don't mind that if the focus is on serving an outstanding burger. It was okay. Probably the same burger they have been serving since opening. The patty was thin, the bun was soft and tasty, lettuce, pickle, tomato, onion, and mustard. Think Whataburger. I left there thinking I would not be back. I really hate that because I want them to do well. Maybe they have their regulars and that's all right. Who knows? If you're in the area and want something quick and convenient, stop in. If you want a killer burger and a comfy spot to eat it...keep looking. Sorry Beefy's. Bon appetit Yelpers.

Beefy's is about a 30 minute drive for me, but it's worth it because the Atomic Burger is the best burger I've had in a long time. I've seen other people complain about the fried pickles being too salty, but I thought they were great...I do love salt :) I recently stopped in and had the buffalo chicken sandwich. It was good but I'll be getting the burger again next time. The fries are a big enough serving for two people. I found the place to be clean, spacious and friendly staff.

went with some buddies and ordered the burgers, fries, mushroom, and mozzarella sticks. Pleasant atmosphere, pricey, and food was just ok. We just to enjoy the outside porch. Service was really good, surprisingly.

Beefys burgers are legit. They're made to order and have always been perfect. Wings are also awesome and the wife loves the salads. Beers are cold and there's a spot outside for the kids to play basketball or on a playscape.

I learned about Beefy's since this is where the Comal County Bee club meets. They serve, delicious hamburgers, and salads of all kinds they have different ice cream's, I had myself a strawberry sundae ice cream today reminded me of being a kid just don't find those unless you can find an ice cream truck.. they have a lot of other dishes but I am a creature of habit and just get the wonderful hamburgers and different salads. I really should branch out and try some of their other great meals

Pretty solid. Fresh brewed tea, big portion of the fresh fries, fresh veggies on the burger. Wife got the small Cesar salad which was a great bang for the buck. Nice staff. Play areas in the back for the kids. Bbal half court and a little play house thing for tag.
