Your food and your service is the best. I do wish you would turn down the radio. Older people with hearing aids are very uncomfortable. We can't carry on a conversation with anybody at the table.

This place is a little gem it isn't fancy - you get great food, hot and fresh! I love a nice catfish fillet - the batter was light and crispy, fish was well seasoned and not over cooked. Loved the hush puppies corn meal, celery and onion - crispy and hot! I paired my dinner with wonderful malt vinegar, creamy tarter, cocktail sauce and fresh lemons.

We went to Bayseas on a Saturday afternoon. When we arrived, we were the only ones in the dining area. I ordered the 6 piece catfish filet and 3 piece shrimp dinner with an order of onion rings. The onion rings were nothing spectacular, but luckily the catfish and shrimp made up for that with leaps and bounds. It is undoubtedly the best catfish I have ever eaten. Thick juicy fillets with a light breading and a huge bottle of tartar sauce on the table to squeeze on each bite. Classic rhythm and blues music played loudly throughout the restaurant, decorated with aging signs and pictures. The vibe felt like you were in New Orleans near the Gulf of Mexico. Highly recommend this place if you like fried seafood. They even offer various types of fish if catfish is not your thing, all fried in the same delicate manner. The man that served us did his best as people filled the restaurant quickly. Will definitely be returning!we went to Macy

Loved the hush puppies and the catfish po boy! The flavor and crust on the fish was excellent! The service was order at the counter and my order came out within 10 minutes for togo. It was fresh and the Mac n cheese and fries were super tasty. I thought everything was great but I wasn't sure if we got mayo or we got tartar. The tartar sauce was different than the usual so we ended up throwing some bbq sauce and it was a yummy lunch.

Stopped by for a quick weekday lunch. The hardest part was choosing off the extensive menu! Settled for the catfish sandwich lunch special. Huge portions with some of the best fried catfish that I've ever tasted. Paired with some tasty gumbo (that was a little too spicy for me, but that's not saying much!), lunch was filling and delicious. I'll be back to try the shrimp and oysters!

the cod was delicious as well as the onion rings. my daughter had the gumbo and it was spicy. she enjoyed it staff was so friendly

First time but will not be my last. I had catfish and shrimp. May have been some of the best catfish I have ever had and that is saying a lot. The fries were not fried until crispy but that is a preference thing. I will be back and try some other sides but the catfish and shrimps will be ordered again.

Was wanting some fried catfish and thought we'd try this place out. We ordered the fried catfish, fried shrimp, onions rings and Mac and cheese. The batter was the right consistency. If you want your fried food a little spicy just ask for some Cajun spices and you can add it to your meal. Or you can always add some tobacco to your ketchup.Enjoy!

HORRIBLE FOOD - WORST FISH EVER!!!The ABSOLUTELY WORSE!!The cashier claimed that everything was homemade and that they didn't use pre-purchased products. Once you bite into it, you will know that everything is straight out of the box.1). Fried Pork Chops tasted as if they had been fried in Fish oil.2). Fried Fish was HORRIBLE, (don't know what kind of fish this was but it was NOT catfish). They claim that they are selling catfish but please don't be fooled. When the fish cooled off it had a spongy texture to it and it was fried with a flour base.3), The cake was old, cold (taken straight out of fridge) and stale.4). The mashed potatoes and gravy was HORRIBLE!! They could have purchased a better brand of instant potatoes.Everything was just horrible; every meal that we had was thrown away after a few bites. You will be better off going to Long John Silvers.DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!! Cook at home.

Great food. Nice selection of sides. The gumbo is wonderful! Very friendly and accommodating.
