Bayseas Catfish House

We love Bayseas! The food is great and has amazing catfish. The service is always nice and everybody has always super friendly. I dig the vibe as it has a great locals type of feel to it and you can tell by all the repeat customers. I would definitely recommend going if you're looking for a great catfish

Customer service is great. Friendly staff and very helpful. Restaurant is very clean. Restroom is as well. I did a take out today after shopping I was exhausted. It didn't take long for my order. I got home we'll let me say first I opened the box on the way home and started eating the fried okra which was delicious and fried to my liking. At home I spread out everything and tried the collard greens and cornbread. The greens were not what I'm use to they seemed a little bland and on the bitter side but tender. I've had greens here before and I must say these were different however I ate about a fourth of them. Then the fried chicken wings I requested fried crispy they were fried perfectly however they were bland as well so i doctored them up with hot sauce and Cajun seasoning and I ate 2 of the three. Over all I'll give a 7 and 1/2 I'll try them once again because of the customer service. Oh I also ordered Italian cream cake haven't tried it yet

Top shelf catfish and fried okra. The smothered pork chops are delicious. The greens are amazing! Come hungry and if you order the fried shrimp be ready for an awesome experience! Don't expect fancy dishes and foo foo sauces! This is the best place to eat hands down! Get you some!!!'

First time in! Ordered food to go, catfish was beautifully breaded and fish was soft, delicious.

Love love love Bayseas! This was my first visit to this location but I was not disappointed! The food is amazing, the service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. Seats fill quickly so plan your visit accordingly!

First time trying this place. Perfect amount of breading to catfiah. Right amount of crispiness to fries. Burger had a grill tasting. Friendly staff. Check times as they close early.

The service is exceptional and quick. As for food you get large portions and it's extremely good. The staff is very friendly and you will love the food.

Actually 3rd time attempt to try this restaurant, as the restaurant closes early 4 pm. Repeatedly tried at different times & days. We were looking forward & thought we try for lunch. Placed order over phone. Pulled in & parking lot was full. Portion size plenty, quantity was good. Unfortunately the fried food was bland. Didn't think was possible to mess up fried food. Even the onion rings were boring. Casual atmosphere & friendly service, not enough to overcome basic boring fried food. Skip this place.

I had the catfish lunch special with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. This is the best catfish I have ever had and such a giant portion! The mashed potatoes were creamy and the white gravy was perfect. Mac and cheese was creamy and cheesy. I also got some hush puppies and the flavor was perfect. Nothing fried was greasy. Tartar sauce was great flavor. This is a gem. Get over there!

Best fish in San Antonio. Very feindly staff and service is wonderful. Our go to place for fried fish.
