Epic spot. Steel tip dart boards? Frozen pizza to order? $5.75 for a 16oz Lone star and a double Jim beam shot? I'm in..... What a cool place. The service and just overall experience was something else. If you're a Chicago fan of any kind, this is your go to bar. Can't wait to go back!

POV: You're looking for a comfortable dive bar, where there are lot of regulars, an older crowd, a jukebox on deck, uniquely flavored moonshine, and it's pet friendly all over! The bartenders are very good about checking in on you without you having to ask. A majority of them have been working at Barfly's for years. They have signs in the women's restroom that show they take the safety of their patrons very seriously. I used to live in the Alamo Heights area and this was the bar I would frequent to meet up with coworkers and friends. We stopped by randomly when I remembered that this bar is very pet friendly and we had our puppy with us. Everybody greeted us when we walked in the door with our little man! It was really sweet. The bartender immediately took our order and we took our seats at the bar. You can tell it's the type of bar where everybody there is a regular and they all know each other.They do have frozen pizzas, should you get hungry and want to order one. I want to say Barfly's is a bar that can be described as, "It is what it is," but to an introvert that might be reading this, looking for a bar to lay low without being overwhelmed, this is a pretty chill bar for that and the restrooms are clean. If I could give negative stars I would. You walk in and it smells like dirty mop water, we ordered 2 shots and the shot cups were full of tajin. After I asked for new cups not even shots she gave me attitude and made 2 new shots. I look fairly young and all she asked was "are you old enough to drink"?0/5 never coming back.

This is where they hide the good moonshine. I have to say that caramel apple pie is where it's at!The jalapeño one is not for the faint of heart. Looks like something you may drink in the apocalypse before you turn into a zombie...glowing bright green!Make sure to ask for Karen. This lady was on it even with a full house. She checked on me and made jokes. Very welcoming here and already knew what the regulars wanted.The vibe is a lot like a spot I dig in Rockport. The chill island time mixed with big city vibes.Apparently, karaoke goes down on Fridays and Saturdays so I must come back for that. I will update when I hit that.

Barflys is a great bar. From great prices to friendly bartenders your sure to have a good time here. With a surprisingly large patio and friendly regulars it's hard not to feel at home and being a pet friendly bar you'll find some nice furry buddies and a kitty or two around.Saturdays karaoke is great night to come by also!

This was a cool little find while waiting for someone to get off work next door. I had 2 draft beers and a shot and my tab came to $13 bucks. The atmosphere was a tad loud got my liking. However, still a bar and I was sober while others had a few drinks in them, so I get it. All in all, would definitely go back and shoot some pool and have a drink.

had one of the most amazing drinks i've tried in a while. the bartender iris always comes up with a drink i like. this place has a really cool vibe and even better patio. i totally recommend trying this place out for that true drive bar feel with craft drinks

Don't put the "Barf" in "Barflys"It might be easy to get carried away at this bar. Lots of beers on tap, games, flat screen televisions everywhere you look. It can be a bit overwhelming, and have too much fun. They have Golden Tee bowling to play, a pool table, darts, and even those mysterious machines that you're not supposed to talk about. There's a back patio area that's a great place to hang out at if you wanna smoke or just get some peace and quiet from all the great tunes playing inside. There's always a drink special going on here, and drinks are cheap. Take a selfie in the bathroom and post it on social media, and they'll even pour you a drink on the house! They have imaginative drinks like Hippy Juice or Bull Blasters. I didn't investigate those, but they do have cold beer. This place is a good place to have a few drinks and watch the game. Parking is easy.

GOOD PEOPLE! GOOD TIME! Very comfortable, near airport, good prices. Lots of fun! Highly recommend!
