Truly one of San Antonio's hidden Gems. Here's why:Freaking place still makes some of fhe best drinks. Vibes hasn't changed in 10 years and neither has the mood lighting which I love. Even the staff, while not the same, has maintained that same level of quality service which also kept me coming back when i lived in San Antonio. We had the You Got another Thing Comin, Nothin But A Good Time, and 2 Killed by Death. All were superKudos to the owners and bar manager for keeping this spot as cool as ever through the years.

We've been going to Bar Mon Ami for years due to the excellent cocktails and service. This classy neighborhood bar has a quieter ambiance compared to other bars. You order at the bar as there is no table service. Carlos did a wonderful job with the Bohemian Rhapsody and Charity cocktail (part of proceeds donated to a local charity) we ordered. All of the ingredients are fresh and the flavor combinations in the drinks complemented each other. There are few bartenders (shout out to Joel) that I trust to make me any cocktail of their choice, but I have never been disappointed at Bar Mon Ami.

This is an easy going neighborhood bar. Stopped by after dinner nearby for some drinks and conversation. We sat at the bar and enjoyed conversation with the bar tender and fellow patron. Was a nice time talking with new people and having laughs. Bar was kept clean all throughout! This bar has a charity drink. They pick a local charity and craft a drink around it. It was nice to be charitable while drinking. Good things can happen at a bar!

I had a great time at this chill, hidden neighborhood spot. There's plenty of parking, which is always a plus. Restrooms were clean and gender neutral. The bartender was friendly, took the time to chat with everyone, and clearly knew the locals. The evening my party visited, our bartender in particular was extremely knowledgeable about a wide variety of spirits and even crafted an excellent off-menu drink for me. While table service isn't available, it's easy enough to go to the bar to place your order. Each drink was well crafted with fresh ingredients, and tasted great. Selections were Killed By Death, a simple old fashion, followed by a paper plane and Smokin In The Boys Room. This was my first visit, and I look forward to coming back. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that many of the drinks had a bit too much lemon for my taste. Still, it was a solid experience overall!

Cute bar off Broadway with plenty of parking. It's a bit hidden in the plaza and you could easily miss it. My friend recommended this place and I really enjoyed it!Sometimes there's a lively crowd and other times it's more laid back. It just seems to depend on the day. Really nice drink menu and the bartenders are super accommodating and helpful to recommend drinks you may enjoy.

This review is long overdue. My buddy Drew took me to his favorite bar in San Antonio and it was Bar Mon Ami. After my first visit I completely understand why it's his favorite bar. The place is just cool and very welcoming. The bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly. Carlos and Rachel were there that night. Carlos made great drinks for us and he even remembered my name from the week before. This place is a hidden gem in the truest sense. It's hidden away on Broadway street and you will miss it if you don't know what to look for. The people that go there are cool and are willing to engage in good conversation with you. They have plenty of parking available as well. This is my favorite bar now. You definitely need to check it out if you want a fantastic experience with excellent customer service.

It's sad to see what Bar MA has become, as it started as a rather refined, quiet and well-bartended experience. Now, the drinks are off, the music is loud and the crowd are embarrassing drunks who are better off yelling at an icehouse in Southtown.Last visit saw a bartender who couldn't make a good martini to save his life. Switched to what was once a tried-and-true there (an aviation) and it tasted off as well. Bartender said he was missing an ingredient, but made it anyway. No bueno. Shoulda said something before you (incorrectly) made the drink.

The decor is cozy but not as fancy as other speakeasy bars and the bartender doesn't wear a uniform but the drinks are creative and excellently crafted. I had a concoction that had multiple liquors and an absinthe rinse. The bartender cautioned me the she only would make one an hour for the customer. She was absolutely right! Very strong, very delicious, so strong I forgot to take a picture or write down it's name. She made another creation she wanted feedback on and I absolutely enjoyed it was made with chocolate bitters-excellent! I will be back and see if I can actually remember what I ordered!

Very chill and tucked away on Broadway. Definitely deserves a stop over for drinks. Very professional. DOGs allowed inside (air conditioned). Done! This place is a repeat.
