Babe's Crispy Chicken

I have to say... it's been a while since I've had really tasty fried chicken. What I really liked was the King's Hawaiian rolls that came with it. My combo came with 2 sides so I opted for mashed potatoes and collared greens. Loved having the chicken with the gravy. Reminds me of Chicken Joy from Jollie Bee. Greens were packed with flavor and oh so yummy.This has become my favorite chicken spot in San Antonio.

Oh my, my, my! I am a fried chicken fanatic ever since I was a little boy taking fried chicken to school everyday for my lunch. Since Mrs. Kitchen soul food kitchen closed I had been looking for something close to their fried chicken, and oh have I found something very close I Babes crispy fried chicken. They have a winner so far and I've already been back three times to see if they are consistent and oh I have yet to be disappointed. Their service has been great and when I asked could they cook it fresh they said if you don't mind the wait and of course I said sure. Oh my, my, my good crispy and tasty fried chicken. The place is small and nice. And I ordered it to go each time and had no issues. This place deserves all the stars. Keep it up and I'll keep coming because I love me some good ole fried chicken!

Very quick drive thru service. Good chicken but received brown gravy which was different but still good. Conveniently located next to Babes old fashioned food but specializing in ckn made it a quick experience

The food was OK, nothing special. However, I ordered a four piece and they gave me a wing a thigh and two leg legs. Who does that? I take it personally. A nice little spot, but I won't be going back there.

The chicken is not crispy but the chicken super good not dry. Customer service was amazing super kind and it felt very cozy. Although it was tiny. It's still seating and it felt like a community. Very nice kind people amazing food the fact that the meal deals you can get two sides. I got fries and mashed potatoes with a drink, bread and four piece chicken tenders for $10.50 is a good deal. I was super full before I got finished my meal because how big the tenders were. Very good food. I love the prices very affordable if you say it's not affordable then I don't know what you're talking about.

10/10 I've been craving a good fried chicken and no where has seem to do justice BUT BABES CRISPY CHICKEN did not come to play! From their chicken to the sides everything has just the right flavor and seasonings! This has become our new and only place to get fried chicken!

Had to try the fried chicken, hate to say it but it was not very good, no flavor, grease was dripping of the fried chicken. Think I'll stick to their burgers
