Good tamales. Reasonable prices. Always enjoy it when I visit San Antonio. Located on the south side.

Drove all the way to B&B only to see a sign on the door that walk ins are not welcomed. And to top it off, they aren't taking orders for tamal s!!!!

I don't know why I was expecting so much out of this place. Probably because of all of the 5 stars. I'll give you the down and dirty because I'm tired of writing now. These tamales are super cheap. I got a dozen pork jalapeno tamales for $8. They taste just fine. I might get attacked for saying this but I think you can buy microwavable tamales that taste just as good. I don't see what the big deal is. The location is far and not worth the drive if you have to go over 15 minutes for them. The food wasn't bad and the prices were great so I have no reason to give it anything less than 4 stars but I don't think I will ever be craving these tamales so much that I'd drive back there for them.

We have been buying Tamales from B&B since 1990s every time we come 2 visit we buy!B 4 INFLATION they we're priced for $6 a dozen yrs & yrs ago! But prices are up but the recipe has never changed still DELICIOUS! U CAN'T GO WRONG!!

Oh wow! These tamales are amazing. I was looking for a good tamale restaurant for my upcoming promotion ceremony and I am so glad I found B & B Tamales!! I called in my order of 6 dozen tamales the day before my event and they had them ready to go the following day. Everyone enjoyed the pork tamales and we ran out of them very quickly. I highly recommend this establishment!!

I don't ever eat ANY tamales, unless they are from B&B!!!! I l-oo-vv-ee these tamales!!!! I recommend the pork, but I am for "darn" sure the other flavors are just as AMAZING!!! #thebestinTEXAS#tamalesforlife

You can tell the tamales are handmade. The flavor is perfect. The masa to meat ration is as it should be. Lastly, I travel from the NE side of town to this south Side location because the owners is a couple that have had the business for 41 plus years and they are still going at it. They are kind, full of amazing stories and always ready to serve. No matter where you are in San Antonio, this is the place to get your tamales.
