Found this food truck at a community event and I'm so glad I did! Ordered the ay papi plate with garlic chicken, rice, salad, and maduros and it was bomb. It was super flavorful and a generous portion of food. The rice was delicious and the garlic sauce on the side was super good. The crazy yuca fries are a must try, they have multiple things on them and are a good way to try the meats on their menu. The owners were super friendly as well.

I came across this food truck at an event near the dominion. They were at The Gents Place for their grand opening. I tried the chicken empanada and fries. I loved the taste and how crispy the fries were. The chicken empanada was delicious but I wish it had more chicken. It had a bit too much dough for my liking. I think I would eat at their food truck again in the future.

This place is amazing. The smells coming out of the kitchen is insane. The empanadas look so good but I opted for a chicken plate.

AY Papi's has one of the best Cuban's I've tried in Texas. The bread had a delicate crunch and the flavors of the pork, ham, and other ingredients came together to create such a rich and delicious overall flavor. I was very impressed and would definitely go out of my way to come back and eat here again. I look forward to trying out more things on their menu next time I'm in SA!

Wasn't sure what to expect when I saw the truck outside of ArtPace before the recent jazz concert but I was more than pleasantly surprised. The cooks were both very pleasant and the food was outstanding. My wife and I shared the beef empanadas and the tripleta sandwich and both were just to die for. I've had Puerto Rican cuisine in several sit down restaurants and they couldn't compare to the quality of food that Ay Papi's has. I hope to see you guys around again when I am looking for a meal.

I have been looking for puertorrican food. I decided to stop this food truck some people say it's good. Unfortunately is not. Order Tripleta Sandwich and jibarito sliders with Tripleta meat. The Tripleta Sandwich was soak oil apparently from the grill not clean bread absorb all grease. Also Tripleta should have pernil, bistec and ham this Tripleta was missing bistec therefore not Tripleta same for the jibarito sliders. The tostones (fried plantain) were fried cold oil absorbing all the oil. Sad to say pernil didn't have no flavor and dry. In fact food taste like the oil has not been changed. Menu should be Spanish and English after all "Spanish" cuisine Will not go back.
