Avenida Brazil is a standout among Brazilian steakhouses because of the variety of grilled meats--especially seafoods--and premium offerings on the salad bar. The restaurant is in a strip mall tucked between a bookstore and a movie theater, but the signage's faux flames will grab your attention. Near the front door there is a window for watching the process of seasoning and grilling the meats over hot coals. The dining room sparkles with chandeliers and pendants. The noise level is pleasant and it's easy to have a conversation. The staff will explain to newbies how to show you're ready for meats, but first you should load up at the salad bar. In addition to the fresh vegetables and fruits, there is a nice selection of seafood like seared tuna, crab salad, and smoked salmon and trout. The grilled meat selections also included fish and seafood like salmon, shrimp, and scallops. The meats, especially the signature picanha and sirloin, had rich seasonings and a smoky aroma from the wood burning grill. The dessert menu offers flan, chocolate cake, cheesecake, creme brûlée, and more. Avenida Brazil is a satisfying steakhouse and salad bar that makes guests feel welcome. It would be a good choice for date night or a special occasion with a group.

I really wanted to like this place more than Brasão and Chama Gaucha since it's priced slightly lower than those two Brazilian restaurants. However, I'd rather pay the premium to get better quality of food and service at those two aforementioned restaurants.Service was good but not superb, and given the price point, I expected there to be better attention to detail. The table ended up with lots of meat "crumbs" that were never brushed off using a crumb collector by any of the wait staff. The salad bar was also very lackluster, with no cheese wheel of parmesano reggiano. I usually look forward to the salad bar to start off a great Brazilian steakhouse experience, but it was only okay. They did have a hot foods station, which I thought was cool, but the hot foods weren't any spectacular either.Onto the meats: you can't go wrong with the classic picanha cut, which was cooked beautifully and at a perfect temperature. The lamb chop was also tender but wasn't nearly as good as the those offered at the other two steakhouses mentioned earlier. The shrimps were also slightly overcooked and weren't as tender as I expected them to be. (These are the three meat items I judge Brazilian steakhouses on. In my opinion, a really good one will excel in all three.)The ambiance was great, and I really liked the set up of the tables and decor. Will I return? Probably not, but I think if you've never been to a Brazilian steakhouse before and want to have a good experience for an affordable price, definitely check this place out for lunch on Fridays! (Only $39pp for ayce, not including tax and tip.)

As a First time trying this restaurant it wasn't bad. Food: Once it started rolling it came quick. I loved the season/marinade that was on the meats. My fav were the lamb chops, bacon wrapped chicken breast & shrimp (sorry. ate too fast & didn't get any pics because I didn't eat all-day to save enough room for this dinner). The salad bar was a bit limited but the rice near the salad bar was good. Service: all the servers were really nice & pleasant. We only had one that seemed a bit lost & kept forgetting to ask the whole table if they needed anything. (It became a running joke but the end of the night). I also had to ask to keep my bottle of wine chilled. He just sat it on the table after he opened it. Why did I have to ask for that again? Is that not a common courtesy? Ambiance: Dim lights (which I don't mind), cozy & quaint. Not too loud as we were seated in a more private area. I may attempt to try again in the future but, no time soon.

We had reservations at 730. We checked in at 720. They were packed! We were not seated until 800. Once seated no one came to our table for over 5 minutes closer to 10 minutes. It was our first time here so we weren't sure what the protocol was. Every place is different. Once our server came by things still got off to a slow start. We were seated 20 minutes before any meat came our way. When they finally got into the groove things were finally better. Food was 8.5 out of 10. The bad: My family loves lamb chops and they were sorely disappointed in the flavor. After the 1st serving none were finished. The also had lamb steak and that was also blah. Same for the salmon, that had no flavor Now the good: The rest of the food was delicious and as I said once the servers got into their groove things were great. They have a pretty good selection of meats, they standard Brazilian Steakhouse meats you'd expect plus ribeye, NY strip steak and Tomahawk steak all 10/10. They also have shrimp, salmon, scallops and lobster bisque. They also served melty cheese with honey soooo good! We'll give it another try in the future and see how it goes. One of the issues we saw was there were at least 3 big tables of 8+ that were done and just sitting there talking. One table stayed almost an hour after we had been there. In other places they discreetly but gently let you know it's time to go after you've stopped ordering/eating. The 2nd issue is the waiting area which was nonexistent/ super tiny especially for how busy it was

My husband and I went to Avenida Brazil for a celebratory dinner. I had been in a cervical collar for over 12 weeks after a bike crash. My neck was set free yesterday, LOL!We have seen the neighborhood restaurant but hadn't the opportunity to try out the new restaurant. What a great excuse to give a new restaurant a try.We arrived shortly after opening on a Friday so we had no trouble being seated despite not having reservations. The restaurant is fairly small but the ambience was nice. Upon entering the restaurant, you see the salad bar. It is a very small salad bar compared to other Brazilian restaurants but they offered smoked fish and Ahi tuna so that was kind of nice. In addition, there was a section with beans, rice, risotto and soup area. They brought cheesy bread and sides of plantain bananas and cheese potatoes. Additionally, servers came by with grilled asparagus and garlic bread. The service was excellent. Our server and management checked on us often. However, despite us still eating our salad and our "card" indicating if we were not ready for protein still being in red, we had a constant flow of servers stopping at our table asking if we wanted the offered meats. I'm sure it was not meant to be pressure on the diner, but we did feel rushed and had to keep turning the servers away. However, there were many different protein options including some that we had not seen at other Brazilian restaurants: Tomahawk steak, scallops, Salmon, etc. We did not sample the Salmon but the Tomahawk steak and scallops were delicious. My favorite protein is normally grilled lamb chops. None were circulating so when asked if we had any special request, I immediately asked for grilled lamb chops, medium rare. They did eventually come out but were a bit over cooked for my personal liking. Additionally, the seasoning was different from what I was accustomed to. I typically enjoy garlicky lamb chops. These lamb chops were just different. I couldn't quite pinpoint the flavoring but I will not reorder. I'm sure it was just my personal palate preferenceFor drinks, my husband ordered one of their special fruity drinks but it was a bit more tart than he was accustomed. The lime taste was a tad strong. To the management's credit, they offered to remake it but we opted to order a substitute drink instead. They really tried to make our experience enjoyable.

We had a reservation and were seated right away. The service was top notch during the whole meal. The salad bar has a great selection to include multiple different cheeses, salads, cold cuts and smoked salmon. They also have lobster bisque and empanadas. In addition to the different usual cuts of meats, they also serve shrimps, salmon and scallops which are all well cooked and seasoned. A great meal to be had for sure.

The salad bar and drinks were hands down my favorite thing from this restaurant. The salad bar had some delicious salad, deviled eggs, empanadas, pork belly and more to choose from. Such great variety and delicious flavor. The bar was making the drinks quickly and delicious! I highly recommend the smoky old fashioned. I was not too impressed with the selection of meats they offered but the few that they did were not bad in taste. The service here made up for the lack of meat options they had. Service was great from everyone there. Such friendly and attentive people that I would go back to this place because of the great experience I had there. If you get a chance to stop by check out their salad bar which on my opinion was delicious!

This is such a nice Brazilian Steakhouse. They staff is friendly and efficient. They come right away with table service and whatever you need. The salad bar is full stocked and beautifully displayed. They come right ambiance is very nice. I could see you going for special occasions because if the price or on a date. However maybe not a first date because of the dim lighting and who wants to be stuffed to the brim. But what a great place to visit and have a special dinner with others or even by yourself. Go check this place out.

My group of 4 dined at Avenida on Christmas Day and we thoroughly enjoyed it all! I chose Avenida over other Brazilian cuisine steakhouses due to their inclusion of unlimited salmon, scallops, and shrimp!!! I'm very much looking forward to future visits!
