Yesterday was Valentine's Day and we decided to visit @drinkartea DeZavala for dinner. Dad had the Strawberry Frappe, Hubby had the Strawberry Lychee Lime, and i had the Mango Coconut Paradise. We shared 2 orders of Gua Bao, Taiwanese Rice Noodles, Honey Bacon Chicken Bento, and Pineapple Shrimp Tempura Bento. The 2 new Bento dishes were phenomenal. I'm sure you'll also love it. I'm backkkkkk. This time the wifi did work! I went two days in a row and ordered food. First day: got the teriyaki chicken bowl with fried rice and the popcorn chicken. Both were kinda mid and made me question if I liked this place. Popcorn chicken looks like a lot but it's a lot of batter pieces with no chicken. Teriyaki was okay just a bit too saucy and too much compared to the ratio of fried rice. Boba is solid as always Day 2: ordered wayyyy better. Phoenix wings were phenomenal, flavors on point and the green onion in the crab rangoon was lovely. The soft boil egged was cooked to perfection and the sauce on the wings is so good I could i eat it plain with the rice. Carrot salad was odd at first but grew on me. Poke nachos were chefs kiss. Kinda messy to eat while studying BUT huge pieces of fish with the best crunch and surprising spice. 10/10 on this order

I've been visiting Artea for the past three years, and it's been one of my go to spots for refreshing teas. Artea recently released some new beverages and snacks including the cucumber lychee bliss. I added basil seeds to my beverage because I personally love the texture of them in refreshing drinks. The drink itself was not too sweet and tasted almost like an agua fresca - how yummy! The employees are always kind when I attend; when there's long lines, I appreciate that Artea will have some samples at the front to try. Their samples once sold me on a hot oolong milk tea on a cold day. Sometimes students come to study, too. Artea is truly a little gem of San Antonio!

Wow! I never would have guessed that Artea sold food! But boy do they! And it's great. Such a variety of dishes and stand out flavors. I would now consider them to be one of the best choices for Asian food. You order from the counter and they give you a buzzer for when your food is ready. Service is quick and friendly. The space is clean and comfortable. They had a 100 rating on the health department score . I had the bacon fried rice which was a bit bland at first but came alive with just a spot of soy sauce. Friends had the teriyaki chicken which was delish, potstickers , edamame and sushi which was all excellent! Now that I know that Artea is a full service restaurant and not just a boba tea spot, I'll be back for sure.

Everything I tried here was delicious! The boba drinks are just as good as they look with that wow factor. I was surprised the food was actually really good. Food served at boba places are typically like fast food/comfort food that makes you feel kind of sick after (lol). But this place's food is really good, doesn't make you feel like you just ate fast food, and makes you happy. :) It's also a great place to work if you need to do something on your computer real quick. The place is super clean, and I love the modern look of everything. The staff are all really friendly. It's also in a great location. I wish I lived closer. If I did, I'd be a regular!

This taiwanese food and bubble tea place is great for snack lunch of dinner. I saw many come to have the honey chicken. Almost the younger generation hispanish like the honey chicken and boba tea. We got their frozen Okinawa Kokuto Sugar Boba. This is frozen brown sugar Okinawa style. Very special. One and only now I have ever tasted. We also got some Gua Bao with pork belly. This dish comes in two. But is has good number pork belly slices. We also got their newly charshu bento. This bento has many things. I wish the sauce can be on the side. We got the popcorn chicken. The coating is not crunchy floppy type. The coating is more compact. I don't like that much. Overall is unique restaurant and drink place. Great for any generation. Food is affordable for the demographic.

Okay...don't be fooled by the fact that this place serves amazing tea and boba drinks...you must try the food! It is surprisingly flavorful, rich and bright with very large portions for the price. We had the Taiwanese rice middle bowl and Gua Bao and the Jasmine iced tea with lychee stars. Let me be clear when I say...every single thing was DELICIOUS! Go there now!
