Arctic Ape Wild Desserts

I love small mom & pop places that have charm and authenticity. This really cool (but small) desert shop is a breath of fresh air for a Walzem Rd dining scene that is high on function and low on form.A wide array of frozen yogurt delights with an equally large selection of toppings is almost overwhelming but the friendly staff helps you through the gauntlet with ease. They've got it covered...literally.I'll return here over and over.

I went here on a Wednesday and on Wednesdays they have a special where a blue cup (16 oz) is charged by weight but only up to $5...so you can fill it up and add all the toppings and it'll only be $5.I tried coconut and cake batter. The coconut is non dairy so the consistency is a little watery but both were still yummy. Staff was extra friendly. They even have dividers for people who want multiple flavors without mixing them. I 100% recommend this place.

This place has truly fallen off. I've visited this place a few times before writing this review and realized that this place is not what it used to be.My child wanted strawberry ice cream. They didn't have it so the worker offered to make it. The worker grossly filled the cup up without considering the amount of ice cream or my budget.The ice cream was slop! I used to come here very often. I believe the older guy sold this place and it's been downhill ever since.

Tried this new place with the family. The kids loved it. Lots of options but would suggest offering more sugar-free ice cream flavors as well as toppings. We had fun and the place is cute.

Love the flavors and the options for toppings! They have more options for non dairy which I really appreciate. I wish they had some more fruit options but otherwise the customer service was great and the inside was clean. The girl at the front told us how it works and was very detailed and helpful.

We were greeted as we came in and they explained how things work since it was our first time there. Very friendly service and lots of options to choose from! They even have board games. There are tons of seats outside but it's just too hot right now to do that lol. The pricing is great!

We had dinner about 10 minutes away. For dessert, we decided to try @arctic_ape. They had gelato, Italian ices and frozen yogurt. So many toppings to choose from! Had to have ice cream for #nationalicecreamday!Glad we stopped by to check it out!

The best place ever!! It's so cool inside, the decorations are so fun! The FRO YO is good too! And so many toppings! Definitely recommend.

What an awesome fro-yo place! When we entered the shop, we were greeted almost immediately by a man who spoke with the same eager kindness as Kenneth from 30 Rock. If we had questions, he was ready for them! If you're new to independent fro-yo shops, the selections could feel overwhelming, and you could mix things that clash. I'm a pro, and I'm comfortable with my classic choices. If you're unsure, pick safe options so you can enjoy your desserts. The good news is, you can't go too wrong with selections - just don't let your cereal get soggy. Otherwise, sit back, say hi to the ape, and if you have the time, enjoy a round of Trivial Pursuit.

The food was great! Great atmosphere and I loved the service but I was in today and these two older employees were yelling at a younger employee at the register. I doubt this happens often but if so I don't think this is right to treat employees this way.
