Anthony's Tex-Mex To-Go

Anthony's is gone its now a different place. I did not eat here. I came to eat at Anthony's due to his review. The lady is aware of the Yelp page and dosn't care she's nit honest to her customers. Make you own page. Earn customers based on your food NOT SOMEONE ELSES REPUTATION

Horrible. Horrible. The owner & the workers all have such a horrible attitude. I asked for extra hot sauce and the man rolled his eyes and rudely threw it in the bag. Do not come here. Service is trash. & the food is mediocre.

Good Lord, the lady making my tacos was extremely generous with the meat. Everything was made fresh. This little hole in the wall is not to be slept on. This family ran business is quick to serve. I had a carnitas taco and the meat was so tender along with a pork chop taco...yeah a entire pork chop was in my taco. I can't deny that I will be frequently hitting this place up since it's less than 2 minutes walking distance from where I live.

Pretty good joint. Not a fan of the flavor of the beans but that isn't the reason for four stars. I was a little concerned with watching one of the cooks coughing into her hand and then continuing to make tacos by hand with no gloves. I figured, ehh, worst things prolly happen behind closed doors in other places. I asked for a certain taco to be made a specific way. They failed to do it. Didn't realize it until I got back to the doc to be with my wife. The other tacos weren't too bad. I'll still be back because it's close my the Oncologist.

If you want a good burger for cheap ! I would say this is the go to! And i feel like they make the best ASADA tacos in San Antonio! I'm giving 4 stars because every time i order they get the order WRONG! But other than that the food is great !!

Y'all, this place is legit! The burrito is huge and comes with bean and cheese standard. No upcharge. They have other items that are fairly priced, but this was my first time here. My co-workers has hyped up the item off there menu all week. Well was showtime and man Anthony's Tex mex to go delivered. Inside is very small about 4-5 tables max. Two seaters mainly. But it's worth coming and and getting you some!

UPDATE - - TODAY IS ONE OF THOSE DAYS - lol - delivery took suuuuuuper long today - like an hour and half since placing my order. and they forgot the red and green salsa lol ..So ... when it comes to this place- it can either be AMAZING - OR Meh It really just depends on the type of day the staff is having i think. The (red) salsa is always "fire" (great); and you can always count on them doing their tortillas RIGHT - whether it be Corn OR Flour. if you ask me - - this place is a 8 out of 10 They are affordable - and their food can usually be spot on. . . but there is always a small chance that your food may suck that day; for some reason. Either not enough breakfast filling in your taco, or they forget your salsa (god forbid), or the bacon can be sad and chewy.We have been ordering from these guys (to work) for a few years now - and it is always nice to know they Deliver to us ( tips are always appreciated) . As long as these guys make an effort to be Kind and respectful towards serving their Customers - i will continue to give them my mulah .

As a long time fan and enthusiast of hole in the wall taco joints, I was happy when my boyfriend introduced me to Anthony's. Being a native San Antonian, I know that the best taco places probably won't be the prettiest..but that makes them all the better. Anthony's is small and intimate. I've only dined in once before when we had menudo and tacos on a Saturday morning. I'd say Anthony's is ideal for walking in and picking up. I've been to Anthony's twice before and every time the service has been exceptional and quick. Also, you can't beat the price at Anthony's. 5 tacos and 2 drinks for twelve bucks? Sign me up! The tortillas are doughy and remind me of the tortillas my grandmother used to make.

Fantastic place with good cheap texmex. As long as you go in knowing what it is, a cheap neighborhood texmex place that isn't trying to be Pappasitos or something, you'll love the food.

I've been coming here for a couple years now and their food never disappoints! However, the past couple of times I've called in an order to-go, a very rude woman has answered. She answers the phone like she doesn't want to be there, talks over you, will try to correct you, and then angrily says "I'll just see you when you get here" and hangs up- no approx time/price, which the man who answers always does. It's almost laughable how ugly her attitude is. Still great food though.
