Such an amazing atmosphere. Wonderful waitress. Outstanding food. Delightful drinks. What more can you ask for?!?!?!Highly recommend the Burnt Beef Tips and the Chicken Skewers. The smell of the Smores Platter next to us smelled heavenly.

This place is such a vibe. No TVs, so you're only able to focus on you and your companions, the food, and the drinks which is exactly what I'm here for. The poolside waitress is ever present, but you've got to ask if you want service which is a missed opportunity from a business standpoint. BUT, I can also see the perspective of allowing people to just be since it's such a relaxing environment. Anyone, once I engaged her, she was ready with great recommendations. The "Margarita in Mexico" was FAN-TAS-TIC cocktail...and should be served at every restaurant. Between that cocktail and the Sunken Garden, a frozen vodka drink, you can't go wrong. I asked her to surprise me, and she chose the "Guacapoke" which would have benefited from pickling the radishes and the Spicy Tuna tacos that were so good because of the slightly sweet rice. I'm ready to book my next staycation at the Plaza San Antonio, and this poolside restaurant option is a hefty reason why!

Such a cute spot with a great aesthetic! Anaqua Garden Bar, tucked inside the Plaza Hotel, has two distinct sections, each offering its own vibe. The main bar area is what you see all over Instagram -- lush plants and beautiful decor that make for a great backdrop to your night. The second section, though smaller and located by the pool, has a more laid-back vibe with couches and awnings - perfect for a chill night out.The drinks are unique, with a Japanese fusion twist to both the cocktails and food options. The cocktails were delicious, and if you're curious, there's even a few you might be able to sample in advance before committing to the purchase. Definitely ask about their rotating specialty drinks that aren't on the menu -- a fun touch! The food is more for light bites, though, so don't come super hungry. The portions are on the smaller side, and I found the prices a bit high for what you get.Overall, it's a great place to hang out, especially if you're in the mood for good drinks and a unique atmosphere.

What a cute little spot outside! As the weather gets better, we've been spending our days outside enjoying the cooler weather. This spot is still kinda secret to locals but not for long. The vibes and patio furniture make it a great brunch spot for relaxing with friends. The food was good but the portions were lacking and I was surprised to see how little food was served for the price. The server uniforms were cute and matched the vibe of the venue.

Met my good friend here for lunch today. We hadn't seen each other in far too long and Anaqua was the perfect place to catch up! It's absolutely gorgeous! I was worried it would be hot but there was a nice breeze and lots of shade. The hostess and waitress both were attentive and gave great menu recommendations. It's such a beautiful place with tons of photo ops. The cocktails were inventive and best of all - not too sweet! I loved it and would highly recommend for a hang out if you want to enjoy some new cocktails.

This place was good. Pretty casual but cute and Caribbean vibes. We sat outside under the terrace so not in direct sun and they have big fans which helped in the heat. It's mostly small bites, so we shared the guacoapoke which was so good, and the spicy tuna tacos (3 to an order)The tacos were a little hard to eat, but they had a good flavor. The cocktail options were all really fresh options. They even gave us a sample of their house margarita which I don't usually like margaritas and it was delicious. While our waiter was knowledgeable, the service was slow. We had to flag her down twice for our bill and then to take our cards.7/10 recommend if you just want "snacky food"

This is a true hidden gem! Walked in here after having dinner next door and the immediate escape I felt from the vibe was awesome. Theres plants everywhere and nice dim lighting. The music is bumpin but not too loud where it is masking conversation. The service was also excellent. We ordered a couple of rounds of cocktails and tried the tuna avocado dip as well as the chicken skewers. Our first round of drinks were great! One was mezcal based and the other was frozen. The frozen was delicious and makes you wanna be on vacation sipping it by the pool. The tuna avocado dip was really delicious and a little spicy from the wasabi. I really enjoyed the wonton chips served with this. The chicken on the skewers had a nice marinade that made them super juicy and tender. Our second round of drinks were a bit disappointing as they seemed imbalanced or like an ingredient was missing, especially the Mai Tai. But they have just opened so I'll give them time to learn, adjust and will come back to escape at this hidden garden bar. Hopefully they have a happy hour as well that I can check out.

Vibes are solid. It's like a little outdoor oasis. The whole staff is super friendly and me and my puppy love spending some time here. I haven't eaten here yet but others in my group have and they enjoy the food. The drinks are par for the course with some nice presentation.

Nice hotel and the scent as you enter is intoxicating. I went early afternoon on a Sunday and no wait time for the bar area. I sat inside next to the bar. It was too hot to be outside even with fans on. Their happy hour drink menu is quite good. Their la villita margarita was superb. I had their burrata and it was fantastic and original with their red chili glaze. I would definitely come back for it. Their grilled chicken club was ok. Bacon was thick and tough and their chicken was chewy. It was overcooked. I would try other menu items next time I'm back.
