We decided to come here for lunch as we missed the food from Hawaii. We ordered the beef kalbi and the kalua pork with cabbage. All the food was fresh made. The Kalbi was amazing! Great marinade, fresh off the grill, perfectly cooked, just spot on. The kalua pork was good too but could have used more meat. The mac salad was just right. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself is pretty small but nicely decorated and made it feel like hawaii. Awesome spot to grab lunch or get catering from. Will come back for the kalbi again.

Does not seem to be open. Came by at noon on Friday July 19. No lights on, open sign not on. No signs of occupants inside. Really want to try Aloha Kitchen.

Came here for my husbands birthday lunch and the food was good. We were so full from the appetizer we could only eat half! The staff owners were very friendly and it is small inside but worth the try.

This is my favorite place to eat when I'm in the area. The staff are always incredibly friendly and food is amazing time and time again. The Huli Huli chicken with sauteed squash is my favorite, but I've never had anything I didn't love. Pupu platter is a great way to sample the appetizers and see what you like.

My wife and I ate here about a month ago because I was craving for laulau (steamed pork wrapped in taro leaves) for a while. She orders the chicken katsu which came with two scoops mac salad, one scoop rice, single servicing of katsu (thigh) and a pretty plumeria. I had the laulau which I think was wrapped in spinach leaves and it had both pork and beef. Portions are on the conservative side, so I wouldn't expect a full plate like you would at a traditional Hawaiian diner, but for the price you pay, it isn't too bad. The laulau plate though, I think it's a little steep for $14, but with the price increase for beef and pork, it's reasonable. We also had their appetizer platter with the musubi, lumpia's and something else, it was good. Overall, service was great, they are on it when it comes to courtesy checks and cleaning up after you're done. You don't have to feel like you're being rushed out when you're done eating. The ambience is great with local Hawaiian music playing. We'd be back, but because it's far from where we leave, we'd have to be craving for it to come down.

Love this place. Only wish I could visit more often. I've had 3-4 options from the menu and everything was great. I've always been salad-averse, but the cucumber salad is super tasty.

Friendly service, the food is very flavorful. I especially love the corn. Today I had the huli-huli chicken and it was delicious! I don't normally care for Hawaiian Mac salad (I'm not a big fan of mayonnaise), but this one was palatable. My only hang-up was the long wait time. I suggest you go after work or call for pick-up, if you don't have a lot of time to wait. We went for lunch, but had to switch to 'to-go' because of the long wait time.

Well, if you need to kill a craving Aloha will do. I ordered the chicken Katsu plate and was excited about the weight of the tray. When I opened the plate it was a good portion. The chicken was dry luckily the sauce was good tasting. Over all I would eat there again because the matsubi was good.

So many excellent menu items it was hard to decide.I definitely will be back to try some other entrees.Ordered a combo draggin meat and huli huli chicken. A lot of food for $12. Portion size was good and I could not finish my entire meal.Came with rice, Mac and cheese, and a side of your choice. Service was good and I really liked my lunch.

First of all, the service and hospitality are absolutely INCREDIBLE. They are very friendly and as others have said, they make you feel like a family member and right at home. They reserved a table for six of us around noon time on a Friday - not sure if they do this for everyone or if it was because our incredible hostess had the "hookup."I had the Loco Moco (hamburger steak on top of white sticky rice, topped with two eggs over easy but you can order them however you like). The Loco Moco was good but it just didn't have a whole lot of seasoning to it. The entree included what they refer to as macaroni/potato salad but to me it just seemed like a good macaroni salad. It might have had potato salad ingredients, but I really didn't notice it. I was also able to select an additional side (they are not listed on the menu) and I chose the namasu cucumber salad, which was REALLY awesome. I highly recommend it.Although I did not order it, one of my lunch buddies let me sample the coconut cream corn. I'm not a huge fan of coconut and although the combination of coconut and cream corn did not sound appealing, I was dead wrong. It was OUTSTANDING.They have been in business since the mid 1980's so they must be doing something right. Get out there and give them a chance folks.
