Ajuua Mexican Grill

We enjoyed the Valentine's Day dinner here tonight. We've been here before but we tried new items: queso flameado, Pollo en Salsa, Carne Estilo Ajuua and choco flan. I also had a cucumber margarita.It was an amazing value. Jesus provided amazing service. He was kind and funny and ensured that we enjoyed our meal.

My husband and I frequently eat at Ajuua. He loves the Margaritas here (says they actually have alcohol in them! lol), and I enjoy their pineapple mojitos! They have a great Monday special with drinks included. The patio is very nice... no car noise! The Mexican Shrimp cocktail is very good... also really love the chicken stuffed poblano pepper with cilantro cream sauce, and the cilantro lime rice... so good. The service and pricing is good. Great place to take guests.

The food here never disappoints! El jefe Margarita on the rocks is always good. Stopped in tonight and our waitress Miranda was awesome. Very attentive and never had to ask for anything twice. Thank you for making our visit great!

We had our work Christmas party here on the patio. It was a pleasant evening and the food was delicious. The waitresses were wonderful and quick to refill drinks and bring anything we needed. I had requested Cheese enchiladas, black beans, and Spanish rice. I am not a fan of green sauces, but this one was good. The waitresses were excellent and knew exactly what ingredients were in each dish, to avoid for allergies. Try the "El Jefe" drink - it was great!

Great patio and service! Nice establishment with very tasty salsa, freshly roasted, and crispy chips to dip. Drink specials every day as well as tasty food. Sundays, they offer brunch and mimosa flights $8. Margaritas are tasty, nice liquor choices at the bar. They also have a party room that seats 30 people. Friendly staff. My only complaint is Pepsi products and I prefer Coke. Patio is my favorite. Plenty of parking also.

Went to Ajuua for a party. We got the buffet which was a nice selection of food. Margaritas were good. You can also get a flight of margaritas which gives you about 3 or 4 ounces of their different margaritas. I'm pretty traditional and don't really care for strawberry and the like. But everyone enjoyed the flights and thought the different flavors were good. For the brunch it was $5 a flight, a really good deal. I got the usual fare, enchiladas, rice beans. There was desert like flan but I passed but it did look good. If you're a big eater buffets are always good. We were on the covered outside patio which would have been nice with cooler weather but it was May in Texas!!! Still I'd like to go back and try their other dishes especially since I'm a flauta fanatic!

Seeing how my first review was back in January of 2015, it's time for a long overdue update! Ajuua still holds a dear place to me and my friends, and I often find myself here on Sundays whenever I'm back in San Antonio visiting. This place has been home to many friend catch-ups, celebrations of life, hangover brunch buffets, and just because moments.Their brunch buffet is one of the best and seriously you can't beat the price even with inflation of 2023/2024 prices. This buffet features pozole, enchiladas, crispy bacon, sausage, pancakes, soups, barbacoa, guisada, and so many more options. All you can eat and you can make as many trips as you want!Their margaritas are so good and they always hit the spot. Some of the best authentic Mexican food that reminds me of bordertown cuisine tbh.Never had a bad waiter or service moment and everyone just has a pip to their step. Drinks may be a little slow (very seldom) but you're so occupied with the food you won't even notice!Plenty of parking since it's situated in a shopping center so no need to fret.

Great service and delicious food. Ambiance is fine. My group ordered margaritas, chicken enchiladas, the chili relleno, and gringo bowl with chicken fajitas. Everything was so good!

The food here is amazing, I definitely recommend going for brunch on Sunday it's the best. Kasey is the most amazing server so if you can I'd try and get her as your server. 10/10

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING-my server Kasey was very nice, extremely caring, and very charming! -the food was very filling, on one quesadilla I was already full-and the ambiance is very cultural and cute!-overall this restaurant is a must!
