Tried out this place for lunch. I ordered the parilla with shrimp and chicken and the #22 fajita plate. Both items were really good. We tried the margarita and a pina colada. The we're both good but the pina colada was great. The house salsa is good but the chips were just ok. The service was really good. We will be back to sample some more menu items.

Another delicious lunch at Agave restaurant with the family. Their lunch specials never disappoint. The service is always great here. If you're on the south end of town, definitely try this place out.

16 Jan 2023A solid place for breakfast. Prices are reasonable. We had the migas and chilaquiles plates. Each plate is $6.79 and comes with refied beans, potatoes and fresh tortillas. Choice of white or cheddar cheese. Two salsa are provided, green and a cooked red. The plates are plentiful. The flour tortillas are fresh and fluffy. The bummer is that the beans taste canned. Mine were dry and crusty around the edges. The place is pretty and is populated with tables and booths. Bigger on the inside that it looks from the outside. You pay at the register. Restrooms (the ladies anyway), are large and clean. Service was just fine. Not much English spoken. Bit I'm half Mexican so no le hace. Ha, ha.

The food came out really fast almost too fast. All preheated so a fast serve. The tortillas are not homemade. The nopales were good with great flavor. The rice is made with carrots and peas tasted good. The give a generous amount of guacamole on the plate with fresh lettuce and tomato. The chips were stale and the shell on the puffy taco was soggy not crispy. The place is large and can accommodate large groups. They have a DJ on Saturday nights.

amazing food and service great place to go eat i always go with friends and i really wanna kiss the workers on their cheeks for how good their food is, and the service is immaculate i love this place so much and i definitely recommend i've been coming for years !

No recomiendo este lugar. Siempre que como aquí tengo una mala experiencia y nunca estoy satisfecha con la comida. Soy el tipo de persona que le da oportunidades a restaurantes como este pero después de tantas veces que vengo y trato un nuevo platillo es la peor experiencia. Es un 0/10 no se lo recomendaría a nadie.I DO NOT recommend this place. Every time I've visited this place I am left hungry and disappointed. I'm very optimistic so I always try to give restaurants like these many chances by trying a different plate each time. However, after so many opportunities it's time to review it. This place is definitely a 0/10!!! I cannot express how this last experience was HORRIBLE. I asked for a milanesa torta and this is what I got. Almost beef jerky at this point. This place is definitely not what San Antonio food represents please don't waste your time coming here.

Food is consistent and authentic, delicious and generous portions. Tortillas are homemade. Service is friendly and attentive, drive through is quick.Ambiance is pleasant :) I especially like their green white and red neon restroom sign and the painted murals of rural Mexico and the various decor. Agave is spacious with lots of booths and tables, always very clean. They even have karaoke on Fridays. Their Jamaica and horchata are delicious. 5 stars!

Went to use the rr and have gotten food from there before.The lady in the front said I couldn't use the rr unless I bought something which is DUMB SUPPORT UR PPL!!!!the whole staff was staring at me.UNFRIENDLY STAFF NEVER AGAIN

Consumer beware!! Small portions! Breakfast: eggs were "Cold" and somewhat burnt informed waitress but she didn't seem to care informed cashier..same response..overall food was horrible...STAY AWAY from this place!
