OMG!!! We saw this place on a YouTube and had to try it out!!! I'm so glad we did!!! The brisket was to die for!! So juicy no need for BBQ sauce!!!!! And the sides!!!! Don't even get me started on their street corn!!!We ordered the medium family pack and it feeds form 5-6 ppl! They do not skim when packing your plate!! There was definitely leftovers!!!! When your order the medium family pack you get 5 sides, we got the beans, street corn, Mac and cheese, and sweet coleslaw.I normally don't eat coleslaw but the coleslaw here was just wow! It was sweet and had such great flavor I could eat it alone as a meal! Maybe I can ask for the recipe..?lolThey open at 11 on Sunday and they stay open till 4 or when they are out of BBQ.We arrived at 10:20 and got in line. Definitely recommend to get there early because the line does get long. I will say you get your food super fast. They definitely have a rhythm going that makes the line keep moving. The staff was great and you can definitely see the owners. They have a small seating inside. Most seating is outside. 10/10 recommend! Can't wait to go back!!

This review hurt me to write. I wanted to love this place so bad. With the many raving reviews, the Michelin recommendation, and them being sold out completely the first time I tried to eat here (pre-Michelin) I was convinced there was no way it could be disappointing. Yet, here I am unfortunately giving it a 2 stars. Let me explain why. The Sandwich:My boyfriend and I both ordered the chopped brisket sandwich with chicharoni mac. I have never in my native Texan life seen a place form burger patties with cooked brisket. I was open minded despite it's form, but the brisket was plain flavored, the sandwich was dry- either because it came with no sauce on it or the brisket was overdone- and it wasn't even warm. The brisket should be good whether chopped for a sandwich or sliced, so I'm wondering if they might purposefully use end pieces or more well done parts of the brisket hoping the bread or sauce hides the quality. The Sauce:The sauce isn't much of a sauce, instead I would consider it a glaze or syrup. The food came with a cup of it on the side. It was runny and tasted sweet. I'm not sure how else to describe it other than I tasted sugar. The runny-ness of the sauce didn't help alleviate the dryness issues I had with my sandwich. The Price: Normally I opt for sliced brisket when eating bbq, but the price per lb was very steep here compared to other restaurants so I instead went with the sandwich. I'm not sure if this is a new increase due to the award, but it felt very unrealistic when compared to other popular big named bbq joints. The building was being remodeled and had some materials exposed which doesn't bother me because some of the best bbq comes from dingy places and shacks, but it doesn't seem to match the high price point either. The Good:-The Mac was very very good!! Which makes the brisket experience all the more disappointing. The mac was the perfect consistency, peppery, and the salty crispy pork rinds on top took it to the top for me. This honestly might have been my favorite Mac I've ever had, but I also don't eat too much Mac. -The pickles were good as well. I could be wrong, but I'm very convinced these are home made pickles. A tiny bit sweet but not too much. Great for snacking on if you don't want them on your sandwich. In the end, 2M has a couple highlight items but they don't make up for the very low, lows. I hope that my experience was a one off, or that they are still adjusting to the new business needs from post-list hype and demand, but I cannot justify coming here again from this experience. I didn't even want to take the leftovers home. For these reasons, I had to give an honest 2 stars. :(

The food here is amazing! We were visiting San Antonio and didn't want to drive to Austin to try some good Texas BBQ. They opened at 11 on the Saturday we visited. We arrived at 10:45 and there were maybe 50 people in front of us. Not bad considering it was the weekend, they had beef ribs as the special, and between Christmas and NYE so probably even bigger crowds than usual. We made it inside to place our order at 11:40. We were really looking forward to trying their sausage but were informed their machine was down. We still would have come, but it would have been nice to know maybe on their website or Instagram. Anyway- we placed our order for a beef rib (advised us they weigh between 1-2 lbs and were $35/lb; that's fine!), 1 lb of brisket, and small sides of macaroni, "sweet" coleslaw, and street corn. The beef rib was extremely tender, lots of char and fat, and literally fell off the bone. The brisket was perfectly smokey, the right ratio of fat to meat, and my favorite bite of the meal. The "sweet" coleslaw was definitely more vinegar than sweet and used all purple cabbage (still flavorful, just not your typical sweet coleslaw). The macaroni was supposed to have chicharron on top, but that was missing. It was flavorful and your typical white cheddar homemade mac. We enjoyed the corn the most. The soda was also delicious with different flavors to choose from. The only negatives I can say are the missing chicharron, no sausage available, no bread (although they told us it was in the bag). Oh, and when we asked for an extra tray to eat off, they said they couldn't give us one because they're only for the workers putting the food out, but we saw many others carrying them. I'll chalk those things up to miscommunication/being super busy. Parking is free but the lot is TORE UP! HUGE potholes and limited parking considering how long the line gets. Overall- if you're in San Antonio definitely line up early to try this yummy BBQ!!!

If you're a BBQ lover, 2M Smokehouse BBQ is an absolute must-visit. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with outstanding customer service that makes you feel at home. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, ensuring you have the best experience possible. The star of the show, of course, is the meat. The quality is exceptional, whether it's their melt-in-your-mouth brisket, juicy ribs, or perfectly seasoned sausage. Every bite is tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. You can tell that a lot of care goes into the preparation and smoking process. And let's not forget the sides! The coleslaw, in particular, is a standout and my new favorite--refreshing and the perfect complement to the smoky, savory meats. The other sides are equally delicious, but the coleslaw is something you'll (or maybe just me) remember long after your meal.Sitting is both indoor and outdoor, so take your pick. Overall, 2M Smokehouse BBQ is a top-tier spot for incredible food and a fantastic dining experience. I highly recommend it!

Before I even landed in San Antonio, someone had highly recommended me to come here. Boy am I glad that I did ! We got their special that day, which was the brisket burger. It was divinely delicious! Even my friend who is picky with her bbq meat thought it tasted good !Even though on Yelp it says it closes at 4, but actually they will close when they run out of food.By the time we got there, around 1:30 ish, they ran out of sausages and the chicharrones that goes on top of the mac and cheese (which I was really sad about..). The guy on the counter was super nice and friendly. He gave us two sample turkey smoked meat for free since we said we wanted to try that!Although there was no chicharrones on top of the mac and cheese, it still tasted fabulous! If I ever visit San Antonio again,I will definitely come back here !!

First I gotta say the food is delish! Everything was good. The service we got was quick and welcoming! And the ambience of the place was nice, country and cozy. Definitely recommend hitting this place! The ribs were the best out of all the really good meats! The brisket was juicy, and the ribs! The ribs were the best I've had in a long time!

TIP: Get there early. The line gets long and they close doors when sold out.Absolutely loved the sliced brisket sandwich. Super tender and juicy. Strong smoke flavor and marbling with a red ring and crispy edges. The bbq sauce is unique .. oil based. Yet, it had a pop of flavor that made the sandwich.Added a side of Mexican street corn. Covered with cheese, chimicharri and other flavors. We also got a link of sausage ... good flavor.Definitely headed back.

Phenomenal brisket, so tender and juicy. The rub on the pork rib was also exceptional and so flavorful. The sides were unique and my favorite was the street corn. The picnic tables outside were perfect on a cloudy day, but there were no umbrellas/trees for shade so look out for that! Would come back again and again!
