1916 Bar and Bistro

Our new go to! Absolutely loved the food. A great menu/ something for everyone choice.Ambiance in barroom was football !!! Lots of people having a great time.We sat in the side area. Perfect for anytime of the day. Very relaxed area. I could see a wedding or party uding that area and upstairs room.Differently a hidden gem in Seguin.Only thing and restaurant could not really help it was the children running around upstairs/ making lots of noise.

Well another hill country adventure with a delicious end to the day. We ended up in Seguin and found another delicious place to eat. If you are in the mood for a dynamite burger just belly up to the bar. My blue burger was the best burger I have had in a long time! It was so well seasoned and everything was so fresh. And my GF burger was great. From the bun to the mushrooms, bacon, Pattie, blue cheese and veggies I was in heaven. And to top it off with some great tots and a yummy mule, what more can a girl ask for? The kids gave 2 thumbs up for their sliders and fries. The hubs was awfully quiet while eating his cheeseburger... that is a good sign. Such a cool vibe inside and the staff and locals were not nice. I took their advice and walked around to look at the Rose dining room. Such a cool spot, we will be back for sure. I want to come back and try some of the other sandwiches.

Wow what a hidden gem. A smaller bar space with sports TVs but dang, the bistro part has fantastic food! Super friendly staff. The Moscow mule was great. Good craft beer selections. The Bleu burger was one of the best ever. The 1916 burger is just freaking wow! For an appetizer the pulled pork nachos are excellent with generous portions - definitely shareable - with just enough of a spice hint to be interesting. It's a must stop kind of place. Please patronize these local gems so they continue to be here for us.

Always amazing food. I love everything I've had and been several times. The bar staff is nice too and the place is clean. Best hamburgers in Seguin! This place keeps me fed!

This place has the best hamburgers made around here. And, all the bartenders and awesome and friendly. And, they usually work their asses off taking care of everyone.

Regrettably, just left this establishment hungry. Food looked delicious, however we had ordered 40 minutes before and were on a time crunch and couldn't wait any longer. The crew was incredibly gracious, and the drinks were wonderful and well priced. But to wait 40 minutes for 2 burgers is not optimal. Doubtful I will be in Seguin again to give it another chance.

OMG. So good. Been here before for the beer and ambiance but tried their burgers this time. OMG. So good! So get this... for starters, the patty was bigger than the bun, which you rarely find. Juicy with super fresh veggies and pretty much as good a burger you can get. In the same class as Five Guys. Fries, superb... but the tots. Oh the tots; more like homemade vs. the fast food frozen ones. And for the finale? Absolute best jalapeno poppers this native Texan has had. Perfect, simply perfect. Yes Virginia, we will be back for the burgers... and of course, the 20 or so beers on tap.

Just had lunch here with the wife and it was delicious! Traditional cheeseburger and the bacon bbq cheddar burger were both wonderful. DO NOT forget to order the onion rings they are awesome! Staff is always so friendly. This is more about the food portions. The food here is always good but I was disappointed on one of their new food offerings. I ordered the burrito bowl ($13.00) not including an up charge for protein. The portion is so small. I was expecting at least some more rice. Don't think I'll order again.

The food and atmosphere are great! If the bartender had just a little bit of personality, it would help the place be better! We went on a Wednesday night and it seemed to be hopping! Hopefully she was just having a bad day but it made for an awkward dining experience that she seemed like she'd rather not be there!
