There's nothing like a hot bowl of ramen on a cold and rainy day. Samurai Noodle is close to WAMU theater, which is where we were ultimately headed, but my friend and I needed food prior to that. We took the short walk (under a mile) and got there in time to beat the dinner rush. We both opted for the Super Shoyu Tonkastu Ramen - the "fully loaded" one and it did not disappoint. It came out quickly and was picture -perfect. On top of noodles, it has pork, egg, naruto, menma, bean sprouts, green onions, and nori. The noodles were just the right amount of chewy and the broth had a lot of layers of flavors. I devoured mine and was so wholly satisfied. Had I been in Japan, they would have brought more out since I didn't leave a single drop to show I was full. It's a tiny place, hole in the wall, one restroom and six or so tables. The perfect authentic feel, and it's inexpensive to boot. You can't get more Japanese-in-Seattle than this.

I had higher expectations. The restaurant was freezing; I wore my jacket the whole time as did many of the other diners. I found the decor lacking. It's tiny and the seats are really stools with no backs. All the tables are two-tops. The server was friendly and prompt. My dish came out quickly.I had the Tampopo Shouyu Ramen. The chicken broth was thin and not as flavorful as I would have wanted; it was also tepid. The broth was not fully seasoned. The ramen noodles were just okay. The pork slice was very lean and over-cooked. The soft-boiled egg was the only redeeming feature. If you want good ramen, go elsewhere.

As an out of towner who loves Rainy Seattle, finding a hole in the wall ramen place on my rainy birthday was magic. Yes, it's a small restaurant with limited seating. Yes, it's a limited menu. However, the ramen was amazing and hard to put down. The broth was savory with the addition of butter. The noodles were thin and didn't swell up too much (I like a lot of broth). As someone who lives in LA and is surrounded by ramen, I'm already planning my next visit to I clued several bos of Samurai Ramen. Worth the walk to find the restaurant and worth a visit from locals and visitors.

This is my favorite Ramen place of all time. They have fun seasonal flavors to choose from, and their winter flavor this time was a fresh wild mushroom Ramen that was absolutely divine. I actually had to go back to get it again, it was so good. The food always feels and tastes fresh, the Ramen is always nice and hot, perfect for a cold Seattle day. They have really good appetizers as well! The service here is always friendly, prompt, and polite. I happily return to this place again and again. You can tell I was enthusiastic by my photo. Enough said.

Samurai is less busy than some of the other noodle shops around, and the food is really good and also affordable. There is very limited seating, but if you can dine in I recommend because the service is also very good. We went on a Saturday last time, and the food only took a few minutes to get out to us, so there isn't much of a wait either.

The food was pretty underwhelming. The broth lacked in flavor and the pork did not taste fresh. We ordered the samurai bowl and the soft boiled eggs must have been prepped ahead of time because they were cold. Service was great though.

Samurai Noodle for the win! I'll admit I was craving my favorite ramen, and I came 30 mins before closing and the host and chef had great customer service. I ordered the Tampopo Shoyu no egg, no meat, spicy garlic sauce, and soy sauce on the side. It came out fast. It was so good and so fresh. It hit the spot! This was my first time at this location. The music was upbeat that brought good energy in a comfy little space. I will definitely be back!

Food was delicious. My son recommended and when I offered to take him somewhere for his birthday for dinner he immediately chose this place.
