Alejandro is one of the best bartenders I have had the pleasure to be served by, not only in Assembly Row, but Boston as a whole. He is knowledgeable about the menu and drinks, and is very kind and accommodating. On top of quality service, he makes great conversation with you. The team at the host stand was also incredible. We had the meatball appetizer and the devils flat bread, it's to die for.

We were looking for a last minute dinner reservation on a Friday night and decided to give this place a try after seeing so many 5 star reviews on google. Lesson learned to always check Yelp. First the good, the restaurant has tons of indoor and outdoor seating and the space itself is really cool. We loved the covered outdoor seating. It was pretty packed, which we took as a good sign. Service was prompt, though sterile. The music choice was also a bit strange and didn't match the ambience. Food was mediocre at best. The appetizers were good, my partner enjoyed the clam chowder and the hot crab dip was tasty. But the mains were highly disappointing. The lobster roll, which the server told us was really good, with lemon aioli was not fresh, had shell pieces, and was extremely salty yet lacking flavor; no lemon taste. The fettuccine was a very generous portion, but underwhelming flavor wise; 0 truffle flavor and a random piece of prosciutto which is not a listed ingredient. We left feeling confused by all the rave reviews.

Pretty good spot. Drinks were great, ambience is the cool side of Amazon's home decor, hummus plate was pretty good. Prices are reasonable but on the high end.The service was fantastic. Down to earth, personable, and gave great recommendations for what to order. Highlights included their award-winning cocktail (I forget the name, I think it had elderflower? Maybe lavender?) and the truffle deviled eggs. We asked for the bacon in the side and received a generous portion. 4 stars for it not really pushing the boundaries much when it comes to the experience. I kind of expected more exciting things on the menu based on the look of the place online. Nevertheless, I was happy and would maybe go back if I didn't have anything else to try!

This was a great find. The pricing was reasonable but the quality of service and food was excellent. The location is great as well as there's plenty of parking that's free for the first 3 hours. We came by for lunch and were very happy with all our choices. The washrooms were clean and mid way through lunch they opened up all the windows and let in some amazing fresh air.

I love salt and stone. Every time I come here I am always impressed with my meal and my drinks. The restaurant itself is chic and welcoming. The chairs are comfortable and even when things are busy they always seem to be able to squeeze you in. The other day we sat at the bar. I got the margarita flight which was delicious! And my friend got the boozy coffee drink. The bartender picked up on which Marg was my favorite and made sure to make me that one when we got another drink. The Buffalo wings had a great charred smoky flavor that was delicious and I got the salmon for probably the second time and this time the sauce was different than the first but just as equally delicious! Would definitely recommend if you're in the area.

I can't say much about the food here because we made a reservation but then left because the staff were unwilling to accommodate us. We walked in and it was so nice, including the vibes only to be flat out disappointed. We had called ahead of time with a big party for oyster happy hour and made sure that it was okay to still be able to have the oysters not at the bar, especially because we had such a huge party. However, as soon as we were seated, the staff immediately said that oysters were only available at the bar and that were no seats for us at the bar. We saw plenty of seats, but regardless, we wanted a table and had asked ahead of time, but they were unwilling to accommodate us. We were also gonna order other food in addition to the oysters, so it was extremely frustrating and upsetting that the one thing we checked ahead of time was incorrectly relayed to us. There was nothing to be done except to leave. It was obviously the staff on the phone's fault, but in general, they lost a bunch of customers because this was the one thing we were looking for and they couldn't help us.

We enjoyed an after graduation dinner here. The service is exceptional and the star was the Brie cheese ......it was sooooo good! The outside area is nice in warm even when a chill is in the air. Perfect place for tasty meal with great energy.

Started off with a bottle of wine and the hot crap dip. Tasted exactly like a crab rangoon and was so yummy. Ordered the salmon teriyaki bowl and it was bigger than I expected so I saved the other half for lunch the next day. Service was good, food came out quick, and the ambiance was lively. Sat outdoors in their covered patio area (nice for the cooler nights) and stayed chit-chatting for 3 hours. Such a good date night or casual catch up spot. Would definitely recommend.

Came here for dinner on a Saturday evening and the spot wasn't too busy so we were seated quite quickly. The ambiance isn't too bad - feels like a modern spot with nice decor. Service was pretty bad - it took over 20 minutes for us to even get a menu or water. It's like they seated us and no one came to check on us at all - that alone sort of ruined the experience in my opinion. Once we finally got service, things were okay, albeit still a little slow.The food was all right - definitely pricy. Oysters were solid, chowder was yummy, wings were good, although the portion was small. For entrees, my salmon was decent, although nothing too special.Overall, I probably won't come back anytime soon. Service was just so poor and the food was mediocre at best, unfortunately.

Salt & Stone has an Energetic atmosphere. Service was attentive to our needs. Trendy menu options.Worth a visit.
