Salt and Pepper Grill

Food service and ambiance are very good. Tried the pot roast, also the meat loaf. I ordered pot roast and it was tender and tasty. I sampled the meat loaf and it had a nice delicious glaze to set it apart from the norm.I especially like that it was a very good value restaurant.

This is one of the best deals in the Dickson, White Bluff and Kingston Springs area. Their prices are very reasonable, ( 7.99 for a meat and 1),our waitress Olivia was very friendly,and all their food is very good. Drink and beer prices are very reasonable also. This is a must check out restaurant, if you are in the area. You definitely will not be disappointed. Miss Cheap should know about this place.

For a very unassuming restaurant on the side of Highway 70 it has absolutely incredible food. The decor is very eclectic and the menu small but don't let that stop you from enjoying every bite! We have tried most all with great enjoyment.The best part for me has been the BLT paired with the Warm Bacon Slaw! I wish I could give more stars just for this pairing alone with the nice cold beer I washed it down with! Yum!!!

Small town hidden gem!We live locally and had passed by a million times but never stopped till today...ashamed we hadn't sooner. Even with a short staff, the food was brought out quick and was very tasty. We came for lunch but plan on coming to check out the dinner menu soon. Would definitely recommend this for anyone passing by or for a dicksonite wanting to try something that isn't a chain.

I have now been here twice, once about two years ago for a small birthday gathering, and one night last week with my brother for a light dinner. Locally owned good choice overall. Service was a bit slow on our last visit, but it was a Monday night about an hour before closing, and there was a birthday party going on. My brother had a salmon salad, which was an exceptional fillet Served grilled on top of the generous salad. I had the fried coconut shrimp appetizer, it was good, but perhaps a little more greasy than I would've preferred. But I did order the fried, so that's probably on me.

Wow! I just ate some of the best salmon I've ever eaten, and for this girl who's lived a majority of her adult life in San Francisco, that's saying a lot! I want to call this a hole- in-the-wall, but the scratch-made gourmet fare coming from the kitchen is worthy of a visit from Guy Fiery. Don't tell anyone, but this unassuming place could double their prices and still pack the tables with appreciative diners. Clever but not overly-done salt & pepper-themed tchotchkes along with 'Mona Lisa with Squirrel' and 'Yoda in Napoleon Jacket' wall hangings. Live music on Friday nite. I think I've found my happy place. Thanks, Chuck, for sharing the love, which can be seen, felt and tasted.

Everything I've had here has been SO good but the BLT is still my favorite. It's the best one I've ever had from a restaurant. In the fall and winter they have homemade soups and every one I've tried were delicious. My mother got 3 meals out of the cob chicken salad.Wish I knew about this place sooner.

I'm a regular there and get carry out a lot too. Usually very good ( the chicken fried chicken my fav). went there for breakfast today(7/21) and one server was in the back working but the other one was standing talking to some men about strip clubs and other topics while I waited to even be acknowledged and that was by the other girl. The owner was sitting there while she just continued to talk and so much bad language going on, even by the owner. Then that same girl dropped dishes and cussed. I asked the owner to tell them in the back to make it to go because I didn't like the atmosphere. I told the other girl I'm going to church soon and don't want to hear all that. Whatever happened to respect for others when you're in a public place? (My rating is for overall not just today. It would be one star for today because the food was good)

Walked in and it looked promising. It wasn't too busy for a Monday and we got here at 6:15. They have a lot of great things on the menu and one thing that popped out to me was the meatloaf. I ordered it with mashed potatoes and green beans. After a little over an HOUR our food finally came out and sadly enough my meatloaf was cold. Not even warm. Very disappointing because it did taste and looked good. My husband was not happy but thankfully it was precooked. Not the waitresses fault but I wish they would use a thermometer before bringing it out to the table or at least letting us know if something like that takes an hour to cook. I did let her know my food was cold. Not chilly, cold. They did ask if we wanted free dessert to make up for the time we spent there and my food being cold. We declined. Service was just okay our waitress was nice but the wait time on food was ridiculous because it was not busy. I don't recommend this place unless you want to sit for a minimum of an hour before your food has arrived. If you plan on coming with a big party prepared to wait. The only thing that was good was the buffalo chicken dip! That only took 15 minutes to come to our table.

Went there and didn't have high expectations. We had went to two other restaurants that were closed. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken and my wife got Blackened Salmon. To our surprise it was very good. The Bacon Cole Slaw was also tasty. Service was excellent. First time there but we will be going back.
