Salsa Taco

Ordered asada and got ground beef. Ask for extra sauce because they gave me 1 small container for 5 tacos.

We ended up at Salsa Taco for dinner because the nearby El Camion truck wasn't around, and overall this was a pretty good plan B! It's in the Shell gas station parking lot, and there are several parking spots behind the truck on the side of the building. At 7 pm on a Saturday, there was no line, and our food came out quickly. There's a small structure with a couple of tables if you want to eat there, but we got ours to go. They use regular single-use packaging (paper plates, foil, plastic bowls/utensils, styrofoam) as opposed to those reusable black plastic boxes. We got the burrito bowl with carnitas and the quesabirria. You have a choice of red (mild) or green (medium spicy) sauce, and we got two cups per order. The burrito bowl was good - the meat was crispy and flavorful, everything seemed fresh, and the portion size was enough for me to finish and feel full but not stuffed. My dining companion liked the quesabirria, which came with a cup of consomme dip, but thought the portion was a little small and would get something else next time. Service was very friendly and prompt, and they seemed genuinely happy to have our business, which felt nice! I don't know if I would cross town to go here, but as a casual neighborhood spot for tacos and burritos, we would definitely come back here again.

Great food. Great flavor. Just discovered this place. Such nice owners and the I am still thinking about the consume they gave me for free (like 3 bucks on posted sign and would pay for a side next time) to dip my quesadilla in (amazing!).Will be back often, and you all need to check it out. I am a taco truck enthusiast and this is one of the better ones. It has a unique angle on flavor and food. Might even get it for lunch tomorrow. Check this truck out!!!!

Salsa taco in the Shell parking lot is great! I know everyone raves about Fondita in White Center and I have to say that this is probably just as good as that, and it is way closer to my house. Location is perfect, I am a repeat custie.

Get the carnitas tacos or burritos, they are so good!! All the food I've had has been great and well-priced!
