QUESABIRRIA is amazing. Go on the weekends and order this!!! Delicious consume and tacos are perfectly crisp and cheesy - they have a special salsa for the birria which is delicious. Chips are crisp and delicious too.

Food was absolutely amazing and incredibly reasonably priced. Seating is a bit on the limited side, so make sure you get your timing right. With only one cook, the food took a bit but it was WORTH THE WAIT! Our entire meal was delicious and I can't wait to go back!

Ordered 3 tacos, 2 steak, 1 al pastor. Steak had no flavor, al pastor had the flavor of pineapple & that's about it. Also ordered thru grub hub and selected a large fountain drink, when I arrived the woman tried to hand me a bottled coke. I informed her I ordered a large fountain she then showed me a standard cup size which I know was not a large...to add to it the coke had a funky after taste like the nozzles had been cleaned with a dirty rag. Not sure if owners sold because all of the previous reviews are great.

My husband loves the burritos at this place. I typically get the steak tacos and they're good. Today we also ordered a side of chips and guac and I am for the first time super disappointed by their food. I feel like having good chips and guac is a Mexican food staple but their chips are over fried and kind of stale. The guac is not remarkable but not bad. I would stay away from their chips lol they were kind of expensive too

Decided to bring my out of town friend here because we were craving some margs and chips and salsa. When we walked in to this small family owned business, we were greeted immediately. We got the dip trio which was phenomenal! The watermelon margarita was to die for. Also recommend the Birria ramen on a rainy day.

Ordered online for pickup at a specific time. When I arrived at that time my order had not even been started, and there was no other customers in the restaurant. There was other to go tickets . The cashier was not apologetic at all. I had to get to work which is why I ordered ahead. I told her I did not know if I could wait that long. She just ignored me and said nothing. I got my food about 15 min later. For the food, I got a steak burrito. It was average and nothing to write home about. I also got chips with guac and queso. The queso was flavorful with a little kick to it. The guac was bland and didn't have much flavor. Chicago is not short on Mexican restaurants, so I would not recommend going out of your way to visit here.

This is a super cute divey place. The space is super small, so seating is definitely limited. At first, when we arrived our party was scoping out the seating situation and we were greeted very rudely by the server. We also had to wait about 30ish minutes for our food to come out, and the elotè was forgotten. I felt the service was sub par, but the delicious food made up for it. I got the fiesta salad and elotè in a cup, both were super good. The quality of the food for the price makes this a great spot. Overall, happy with my experience.

I was surprised by the quality of food I ordered recently. I had ordered veggie tacos with an addition of avocado and cheese that came with rice and beans. First, I'll begin with the salsas. The green salsa is like a verde sauce, a bit salty and tangy but a very nice taste. The red salsa is a fresh tomato based zesty flavor that has a kick. I would recommend trying both to your liking. The tacos were roasted with grilled peppers and onions as well as roasted zucchini. It was seasoned with spices and the tortillas were not dry but crispy. The plate came with rice and beans. The rice was moist and flavorful and the beans had some hints of pepper in them which I liked as well. Overall, everything was great and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a killer taco and rice/bean combo.

Chicken burnt to a crisp. Inedible. It was a large order so maybe they were rushing and busy, but this is pretty bad.
