What a meal! Take your taste buds on an adventure and have some Somali food. It was a "unique" experience never having had Somali food before, but I'd stop here on my next visit to the SeaTac area. I'll be honest, it doesn't look like much when you pull up, fairly basic & nothing fancy about it, but the food... You will leave with your taste buds wow-ed.This was a random food stop we made for dinner, but we are so glad we did. Talk about delicious! We had a mixed plate of meat and rice. The goat meat had so much flavor! The lamb was savory. The chicken was tasty. The rice was some of the best I've had. Honestly... try the goat.

This place is great. Friendly service, delicious food. What more do you need to know? I guess parking wasn't ideal.

Taste- *****Ambiance- ***Parking- ****Service- *****Salama is a gem, and I encourage all to try it. This was one of the most satisfying meals I've had in some time. The owners and servers are so friendly and guided us to some great recommendations. We tried rice with lamb and chicken combo and kati-kati (a "sauté noodle dish" made with bread). The dishes are deliciously spiced, flavors are complex and aromatic. Highlights for me included the rice, the kati-kati, the chicken, and the fried appetizer. The portion were generous, and the price very reasonable. We really enjoyed our dishes and will be returning for sure!

My coworkers convinced me to check out this restaurant and it has become one of my favorite places. The quality and quantity of the food for the price was incredible. We tried the chicken, lamb, and goat, and everything was great. The goat was especially tender and delicious. I'll come here again for sure! (Also an excellent food safety rating!)

Favorite place for a fulfilling meal!!Usually a relaxed and clean atmosphere when I go in. We always order the Goat and Rice but I have been trying new dishes and so far so good ! Also really Awesome customer service

Loved this place!-Delicious food-Great service-Friendly staff -FastGet all up on that goat!Rice was fragrant and flavored with interesting spices and yummy veggies.Note- the banana gets sliced up and goes into your rice. Don't do a faux pas and eat it as an appetizer.Also note- some Ethiopian food "meh" folks might find this more their speed. N of 1 (my lunch date, Emily)

I used to love this place but I think there's been a change in management. The old owners were so kind and made the place feel very warm and welcoming.Can't say the same thing about the new owner. I could hear the her working the microwave constantly in the back.The prices have also been hiked up by a ton. Dishes that used to be 8 bucks are now 12.There are plenty of other Somali options just down the street so probably won't bother coming back.

When asked what my redneck husband thought about this place he said, "f-ing amazing!" big portions. simple food. actual food. nice people. kid friendily. fantastic hot sauce!

Really friendly staff and awesome food. The goat was soooo good. Since it eas our first time we asked for suggestions and ending up getting goat, lamb and chicken plates, and all of it was really good. Try the spiced tea!We accidentally went in the side door so pro tip, its not the corner door! LOL

The food was basic, tender with Afrocentric spices. The environment was rich in its culture and the staff were hospitable.
