This was our first visit so we went with The Arizonan and Fruit salads versus build our own. They were both excellent.Be careful by keeping an eye on all the add-on charges as the cost can increase quickly. But overall the experience was excellent due to fresh ingredients, a friendly staff and overall clean facility.Their primary focus is salads and if that is what you are looking for, as it was for us, this is a great option. If we're in the area again we'd definitely come back.

Amazing shop! I loved the amount of sodas they had here. My husband and I spent over and hour just cruising down the aisles. The customer service is too-notch as well and they even put our bottles in boxes so they were easier to carry (we purchased a ton). Oh! And in the back, they even let you bottle your own soda. I loved it!

Salad World is a casual "Chipotle Style" salad bar restaurant located in Peoria a few miles up (or down) the highway from the P83 area. They offer many "HEALTHY" option options with around 60 things to pick from. The salad bowls come in regular size and in a very large size. You pick your lettuce, fruits, vegetables, cheese, toppings, dressing, and add on a protein (chicken breast, ham, vegetarian chicken, steak, tofu) The salad bowl come with a warm soft roll or you can add on turning it into a wrap. They also offer soft beverages and do offer a child's plate.I tried a regular sized salad with chicken. I added things like radish, jicama, carrots, onions, garbanzo beans, Asian dressing, sesame sticks, and almonds. I asked for avocado but it didn't make it to my salad. My salad really was pretty good. The chicken was a much better quality than what you normally get. I didn't complain about the missing avocado because I don't know if I was charged for it or not?My husband got a salad in the large size. It was enormous! He went for chicken, steak, bacon, cheese, eggs, and some vegetables. He thought it was very good. He also thought the meat toppings were better than what you get at many places. He really liked that his salad came with a roll. I do have to note that you have to like smokey meat to eat the steak because it is very smoky.Everything seemed fresh.Meats were a better quality.Staff was friendly and helpful.Restaurant seemed clean.Pricing seemed very fair...(especially for the large salad)A great alternative to anything fast food. I'd highly recommend if you are in the area.

First visit here. Small and cozy. Brandon did a great job helping us. Service was friendly and fast. We did a build your own salad. The salads were generous, hearty and delicious. Great variety of toppings. I wish the location was larger with more seating It is very busy and we would have liked to sit longer to chit chat and catch up, but we felt bad sitting there seeing the line of others ordering their food who we knew would be needing a seat. There is seating outside as well, but a bit too hot in the summer. I picked up a gift card for my mom on my way out knowing she is really going to like this place. Left full and happy.

It's noon and the lunch rush and the owner, who looks like a bouncer or member of a bike gang, is casually enjoying his lunch while he has one girl serving the lunch crowd and taking cash too. That was only the first problem. His iceberg lettuce comes from a bag and his romaine lettuce was old and brown. Had to ask him to get some fresh lettuce and then he starts giving me attitude. Finally. down at the chicken area, the box of chicken is 95% empty and the chicken is cut so small, it looks like chicken salad. Meanwhile lazy owner still sitting at table eating his lunch. Definitely do not give your money to this guy or his restaurant.

Me and my husband went to salad world and it was delicious, incredible service by the owner, gave us several options and lettuce take our time.. haha nahh but fr fr it was the best quick salad at a tremendous price, happen to be there on a Thursday and lucked out on a 2 for 24$ build your own. Portions were more than enough, not to mention the complimentary side of bread and butter. Absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a good meal, healthy and delicious.
