Salad and Go

I've lived near the Westgate area for a while now and haven't tried Salad and Go until recently! Within my first experience, the salad portion was OK but not completely filled up (about 1/2 or less than 1/2) and resembled another Yelp reviews portion before me. The salad was good but the lettuce was a little soggy.I tried again yesterday with a different salad and it was perfect! So good. I even decided to come by this morning to try their breakfast burritos, which are also a great size for the price and taste great! You get the choice of red or green salsa. I'm hopeful that they train all employees to make about the same portion size per salad in the future so there's no "hit or miss". I would recommend this location! The staff has been so kind as well.

Gladys is extremely kind and funny. I really appreciate the kind service and her making me laugh after one of the most brutal 12 hour graveyard shifts I have ever had. It meant a lot to me even if I could only interact with her for a few seconds. I got my breakfast burrito and cucumber mint lemonade fast, and my day made! I meant to fill out the survey at the bottom of my receipt, but I somehow lost it as soon as I drove away from the drive through. I genuinely have no clue where it is HAHA, it just disappeared in my car! But, I figure I could explain my good experience here as well.Thank you again to Gladys!

I'm not sure what has happened, but this Salads and Go is not performing to the same standards they once were. It has been over a year since visiting this location. With so many food options neat Westgate, we have a tendency to forget about this far corner. The other restaurant we wanted to eat at had closed. While trying to find something else, we remembered Salads and Go. Ordering was quick through the drive thru. We ordered two fajita wraps with chicken. The edges of the tortillas were hard and dried out. The black beans were under cooked; they crumbled in the mouth when chewed. There was a small amount of chicken peppered it. While lettuce was fresh, tomatoes in the pico de gallo seemed old. This was not the fresh and enjoyable experience I once had.

This has got to be the worst portion of salad from Salad and Go at 91st Ave and Glendale Ave. I hope the District Manager or Owner of this franchise is reading this. Portion is not even have of the bowl. What a rip off! All 3 orders were the same portion. What a joke!

Am I the drama?..all Salad & Go's are not created equal. My bowl wasn't all the way full. This salad was so unfulfilling(I'm still hungry) that I will have to find something for dinner. I'm going to take the rest of this year to visit every Salad & Go that I can and post pics showing portion sizes...then I will let you be the judge to my question...Am I the drama?

Great portion size for an unbeatable price. They salads have good choices and a create your own option is great. I like the Buffalo chicken salad. It's supposed to come with blue cheese but unfortunately I have been given ranch by mistake several times now. I even asked on my most recent visit and was assured it was not ranch dressing. I get home and sure enough it had ranch. They aren't labeled so I don't think they can tell them apart. Start labeling your dressings please!

I don't write a lot of reviews, but I just visited this salad and go for the first time as I just moved to the area. I go to the one all the time in North Scottsdale off Raintree, but this location blows that one out of the water. The lettuce is of a superior quality and more manicured. Toppings more abundant! I used to think I was getting a great seven dollar salad now I'm getting excellent one!. Not to mention, the gal working (maybe Amy, receipt said) was kind and efficient. Go Glendale!

I had Thai chicken salad. My wife had Cobb. Both were generous servings especially considering the reasonable prices.

I don't know why I gave this location another try but I did and I ordered a salad and soup. The salad was half-filled again and they also half-filled my soup which the container is not big as it is yet they still shorted me.
